RIVERVIEW POOLS & LINERS

I specifically called Riverview because of the great ratings on Angie's List. The initial call was more than 2 weeks ago. I was told that the technician would call me to set up a time to come to my home. Two days later, the technician called but could not give me a definite date he could come, let alone give me an appointment window because I wanted to be there. He said that he might be able to come out the following day, or possibly the day after that. He never made it. I called the office to follow up 8 days after my initial phone call. I was told that someone would get back to me shortly. I am still waiting for Riverview to call me back 9 days later.

I could not be happier with the services provided. After my former regular pool people left me without service and pool for the summer Mike and his crew came through for me!

First, we had Riverview install our 12 years ago and it was stress free (as it can be). Over that time, we routinely call them for closing of the pool and their crew arrive close and package everything needing to be stored inside for winter for you. What I will ALWAYS remember is the seeming crushing discover of my liner having opened up and gone in pool after one of the hurricanes. I called, I'm sure sounding pure panic detailing what happened and I was SHOCKED at the response. Thinking my liner would float in pool for a week, with all other repairs that may have been produced by storm, I was BLESSED to have Mike's crew come to my pool the FOLLOWING DAY (I'm sure that is not possible in every situation, nor was it my realistic situation), but I could not sleep thinking my pool is "ruined". The crew brought up the liner and did what needed to be done to reinstall it. My ulcer ended overnight...total stress relief. I felt I would have to pay a "higher amount" aka price gouging because they technically had me at their mercy, arriving so quickly, I'm never going to send them away...but this is what EARNED my total loyalty with Riverview Pools...they charged me a NOMINAL amount to fix what was a crisis in my life. That...and arriving so quickly, they demonstrate worthy of trust. Today, I will be headed toward getting a new liner due to age and I feel confident I will get an amazing price for an amazing product, installed quickly, relatively mistake free. That's a great feeling. I read how some call for appointments and dont receive an exact day...I understand that and accept it. Mike's crew WILL arrive...the always have...I just come home and find the work done at some point as their business is not always predictable. I'd like to think the prioritized my sunken liner after the storm, over a general maintenance, so I accept the flexibility. I also should say, in my case, we never had to pay the crew. The (reasonable) bill always came in the mail later. Nice touch.

Did not hired, performed services myself. They did install my pool 16 years ago. Pool has held up and was installed from start to finish in 3 days. Very professional and would recommend them for installing a pool. Very neat work conditions and polite staff.

I called Riverview pools 3 weeks ago and was told that I would receive a call stating when they will be coming to inspect our pool problem and give us an estimate. Well they called on Monday June 6th and said that they will be out this week and give us call when they were on their way. Well, today is Sunday and still no call. I tried to contact them and left a message but thy have not responded. I know this is a busy time of the year for pool services but this is not a way to deal with customers. I would not recommend them to any one that I know because of their lack of communication and professionalism.. This is not a proper way to conduct business. A date and time should be set, not leave the customer hanging to wait for you to come at your leisure.

Mike at Riverview pools is awesome. He has come over NUMEROUS times over the last year for my pool. We are new pool owners but our pool is older and wasn't properly cared for before we moved into the house. Because of this, and some bad luck, we have had many issues. Mike has bee available through texting or calling anytime. He is responsive and honest. He gives you advice if you want to do it yourself or he is more than willing to come fix it and fast. This time we lost over 2 1/2 inches of water in 48 hours. He came out and tested EVERYTHING. It's 95 degrees out there and he stayed for 2 hours testing and fixing little issues. Then we finally found the problem, a slit in the liner. He quickly repaired that and also RE-REPAIRED one i had previously fixed that was not a great job! He only charged me for a service call! He's great. I would trust him to build a pool, replace a liner, fix something that is broken, or just do regular maintenance.

Pool looks immaculate. We are off to another great season of pool fun. I am especially grateful that Mike knows how to keep my 15 year old Polaris working.

Mike was great. I would recommend him and his crew to anyone!

Since that time, he has handled other projects and my last pool closing and the opening for this year. I would highly recommend Mike because he is skilled at what he does and does a great job for a fair price.

Mike and his helper (sorry, forgot his name) were great - professional, courteous and efficient. I can't recommend them highly enough!!

MIKE ORDERED THE POOL LINER AFTER THE SIGNING OF THE POOL LINER CONTRACT OF APRIL 30, 2013 AND IN WRITING ON THE CONTRACT HE WROTE WHEN THE INSTALLATION WOULD BEGIN THE WEEK OF MAY 13TH, 2013. WHEN THE TEMPORARY POOLS STARTED TO SPILL OUT THE HOLDING WATER BECAUSE OF OUR PROPERTY IS ROLLING HILLS, MIKE IMMEDIATELY TOLD ME. MIKE AND JUAN PUMPED BACK THE WATER THAT WAS LEFT INTO THE INGROUND POOL AND SO WE FILLED THE REST OF THE INGROUND POOL WITH WELL WATER, WHICH IS CLEANER ANYWAY. A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER, WHILE THE INGROUND POOL WAS FILLING WITH THE WELL WATER, MIKE AND JUAN CAME BACK EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY FINISHED THE POOL AND OPENED IT. THEY GOT THE FILTER RUNNING AND PUT D.E. IN THE FLITER. THE GROUNDS WERE CLEANED UP FROM DEBRIS AND REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY. THERE IS NOT ONE WRINKLE IN MY POOL! I HAVE TO TELL YOU HOW REFRESHING IT IS TO DO BUSINESS WITH A TRUE PROFESSIONAL AT THE TOP OF HIS GAME. MIKE TERESKY KNOWS HIS BUSINESS INSIDE AND OUT. MIKE HAS RENEWED MY FAITH IN POOL CONTRACTORS. Last fall they came out to take measurements for the replacement liner. This was especially important since the original liner never fit properly. I contacted them in early spring with our pattern selection. When they came this spring to do the job, they removed pool safety cover and captured approximately 15,000 gallons of water to be treated and re-used. They removed the existing liner, painted the coping and scrapped down walls to remove oxidation. Installed the new liner, new jets, new skimmer face plates, and new bottom drain cover. Started re-filling pool with stored water. They removed all debris. All this work was completed in one day! They returned the next morning to remove the vacuum hose from behind the liner as we continued to fill the pool. I called the owner with some minor questions and he was glad to respond.

Their price was much cheaper than all the other estimates we got. They did an excellent job. They were very proactive and really went above and beyond our expectations. They took the time to come back and teach my husband how to operate the system as well.
