Excellent service, price and workmanship was higher than expected.

So, we had a hole in the roof that slowly went through into an upstairs bedroom. Well, how did it get that bad you ask? We made appointments with every "friend of a friend"/"oh we used this guy" roofer. What the (use explicative)? They all wanted to replace the whole roof or refuse to come out to see it. One company's secretary tried to explain to me that it must have been our siding that was causing the problem???!!! Anyway, my Mom suggested angies list, and we found Ron. Turns out we didn't have a hole after all. A broken pipe collar around a vent pipe was the culprit. In one week we got an estimate and he fixed it in time for the next rain storm. Well, you'll see us again as we look for someone to patch our ceiling........

The guy came and looked at what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate that day that it was more economical than other companies. The man came on a Wednesday for the estimate and I told him I needed the work done by Friday. They came and completed the job on time. The only inconvenience was that I wanted to pay with a credit card, and the man stated that it was fine. I did end up paying with a check instead because the man was there and needed to be paid at that time of the job being completed. However, they were very professional. They were flexible and worked with my schedule well. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

It went very well. They were not very good as far as landscaping goes. They were the highest of the three estimates, but gave me the price of the next one down. They were not very respectable of my wife's garden, but everything else was very good.

They were very clean. They were very fast. They were timely and they were cost efficient. I would recommend them to anyone who needs roofing work done.

Customer service is good. They showed and gave me an estimate when they said they would. They showed up to do the work exactly when they said they would. They did a good job. It was satisfactory overall. I would recommend them and use them again.

It was a fantastic stress-free process. I submitted a request for an estimate on their website, and when I came home from work the next day there was a complete estimate in my mailbox. Their salesperson had come out and checked everything out from the outside and left it for us. Once we contacted them they sent their guy out again and we finalized the details and signed our contract (with a nice discount for paying up-front via credit card). Work started when we requested and the crew was careful and conscientious of our home. They cleaned up pretty well (there's always a few nails that escape, but considering that there were three layers up there and how many corresponding nails that must have meant, they did a very good job cleaning up). A supervisor came by mid-day to check on things. After a few days we called to check on the gutters, which hadn't been done the same day - I understand they were backed up. The gutter guys (a subcontractor) showed up bright and early on Saturday and were done in a jiff. Both the Carlson crew and the subcontractor guys were excellent - polite, knowledgeable and professional.

They had a good price, I purchased a better shingle. They offered a great deal. They got the job done in one day and cleaned up very well.

I went to vendor's web site which allows a customer to request roof estimates online and I provided the required info. The site indicates that they will make contact within 48 hours. Never received contact. If this is how they are trying to get business, what are they like after getting your deposit? I passed and went to another roofer.

The job went very well, the work started and completed on time. The quality is fantastic, the overall appearance of the house has improved dramatically - it looks like a brand new house.

The job Carlson did was the best experience I had with a contractor in 40 years. They are a very professional operation. Their bid process was timely and accurate. Their prices are fair and very competitive. The job was scheduled a few days after I accepted the bid. Unfortunately, it rained for a few days befor the job was scheduled. We all agreed to pushed the job back a couple of days. Materials were delivered the next day and put out of the way in the back yard. The roof was installed the first day. All plants and bushes around the house were covered to protect them. When the roof job was completed all the tarps and garbage was cleaned up and renoved. At the end of the day you could tell any work was done on the property. The same procedures were successfully followed for the installation of the gutters. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the job.

Carlson came within a day of my call to them. See note above re flashing. During these four to five months, with the little leaks around the skylight, Carlson had someone here to check the roof on the 2 or 3 times. They always found something and fixed (patched) it. The work was not around the flashing, they did originally. In fact on the last leak, 5/2/07, 2 guys showed up the same day. I of course thanked the second guy. Since that date, no further leaks have occurred.

The contractors were friendly and knowledgeable. They disposed of all the old roofing and were careful of the lawn. The inspectors came and approved their work. The quality of the roofing material was upgraded and we are very pleased.

I called Carlson Bros. 4 times since 4/16/07, left messages, and never received a call back. I don't even know if anyone came to fix the roof since it's not visible to me. I think the ratings given this company are very misleading and I'm quite disappointed in that they didn't have the courtesy to return my calls (even if they decided to not do the work.) It is now a bigger problem because I don't know what the pipe collar condition is. Please advise.

WONDERFUL. THEY ARRIVED EXACTLY ON TIME, WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB. I AM GOING TO HAVE THEM INSTALL A NEW ROOF IN THE FALL. I HAD A PRIOR PATCH NONE TO NO AVAIL. THIS COMPANY FIXED IT WITHIN TWO DAYS OF MY CALL AND WERE EXCELLENT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY.

The representative was very responsive in the beginning, made a few trips out to the house to explain details, etc. The day of the job, I was not able to communicate with anyone and get questions answered. I had to call the rep. and ask him to come over to guarantee that we were getting the proper ice shield. We did not see that it had been delivered. After the job was done, I noticed squirrels were running around in our porch roof. My husband watched one climb into a hole in the front of our house. The roofers had removed part of the old wooden molding and had not replaced it or told us about the openings. I called them, they came out and said it was not their fault. I now need to have someone else fix the problem they caused.

THIS COMPANY WAS EXCELLENT. I HAVE NO BAD OPINIONS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. I THOUGHT THAT THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS GREAT. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME TO DO THE WORK AND THEY GOT IT DONE IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.

THEY DID GOOD WORK AND THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME. ONE THING THAT I DIDN'T REALLY LIKE WAS THAT THEY DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, SO WE COULDN'T COMMUNICATE WELL, BUT IT WAS OKAY. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED BECAUSE WE ORDERED THE SHINGLES ON ONE DAY AND THEY WERE THERE THE NEXT. THEY WERE THERE FOR A LITTLE OVER A DAY. THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED.

WE HEARD OF THIS COMPANY FROM OUR NEIGHBORS. WE CALLED THIS COMPANY AND THEY RESPONDED THE SAME DAY. THEY GAVE A FREE ESTIMATE AND BROUGHT SHINGLE SAMPLES. THEY COMPLETED THE WHOLE JOB IN ONE DAY.

I LIKED THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE RESPONSIVE TO WHAT WE NEEDED. I THOUGHT THAT THEY PERFORMED THE SERVICE AS QUICKLY AS THEY COULD, SO THAT WAS NICE. THEY DID EVERYTHING RIGHT THE FIRST TIME AND I REALLY LIKED THAT.
