Called for a quote, Ron came out the next day. He quickly knew what needed to be done and provided a reasonable estimate. I accepted the estimate a few days later and scheduled an appointment the following Monday. They came at the requested time and completed the job quickly and professionally.

He was very responsive. He called me from the place when he reached there. He spoke to me about the report and gave me a lot of details. His secretary did not send me the report after 24 hours so he kept following up with me and made sure I got the report. He gave me the estimate, and he said that he would work me on the quote. I am planning to call him again when I get the roof done.

Never returned call to get an estimate

Ron (co-owner) and his crew were efficient, professional, and did excellent work. Arrived promptly for the estimate on a weekend to suit our schedule; came prepared with documentation of insurance and quickly secured a local permit. Job finished on time, cleaned up completely, and returned the day to do a "walk around" of the finished job with us.

It turned out fine and they did a nice job.

The experience was positive. They were very professional, prompt at answering calls and they cleaned everything up. The quality was good.

Exchanged phone calls with this company to set up an appointment to have them give me an estimate on roofing repairs. Appointment was agreed upon, took time off from work to make sure I was home to meet their workman. NEVER SHOWED. Called the company and left a message to see if they were just running late - NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. I don't know how this company recieved such high ratings before.

They were professional and peformed the work, no problem. They delivered on their promises. They did not take the payment until the work was done. They gave me guarantee on the roof.

Very professional and skilled. Removal of old skylights was more difficult than expected due to poor original installation, but Carlson stuck to original estimate. Would definitely use again.

Without a doubt, when we fix our gutters, and do any other repairs necessary, we will call Carlson.

I had a good experience with them. They were professional. They were on time for the appointment. The estimate was within my budget.

Called for an estimate. Dave, I believe, came on time, evaluated what needed to be done, answered all my questions and gave me an estimate. I signed the contract, and set start date for a week later. Two workers showed up at 8 am on the start date. It was one of the hottest days of the year, at least 102 degrees on the ground. I almost wanted to tell them to come back on a cooler day! They got right to work, worked well together, effeciently and completed the job in about 3-4 hours. I turned on the hose for them to cool off and offered them water, I was really feeling bad! They were troopers! Cleaned up, you would never know they had been there. We have had several bad rainstorms since then and not a drop of water from my new roof!

Done, but took a number of visits. The estimate included replacing my chimney topper which had blown off. They forgot to do that, but when I called, they did come back and do it.

We were very happy with them and their work. The price was acceptable; it was what we agreed to pay. They came when they said they would and they cleaned up to the inth degree. There was nothing. If we found one nail I was surprised. They were very tidy. They didn?t give us any reason to doubt them.

I was very happy with their work. They are very trustworthy, and I would use their services again.

The leak was not repaired the first time, so they came back and repaired something else and it worked that time. Even though they didn't repair it the first time, they came back promptly then assessed and repaired it.

They were professional. The person showed up on time whenever they made appointments. The work started exactly when they said it would. They completed the whole job in a day and a half. There were a couple of problems after they did the roofing job. There was a hole on our bedroom ceiling from the attic in our two story Colonial house as a result of the banging of the roof. The cable wire had become loose too. So I called them and someone came out within a day or so to fix both the problems. I would recommend them to others. The original price was a little higher. Someone else had also given me an estimate and then they matched the price. I went with them since they had a good rating. They told us exactly as to what to expect. They told us that they would put something in the attic since there could be a lot of wood pieces coming out. There were no surprises with them at all.

Called, described my problem and Rich Carlson came out immediately and gave me an estimate. He showed up exactly on time and on a day that was convenient for me. Provided a fair estimate. We determined a date for him to do the work. Rich showed up promptly, replaced the gutter covers, replaced the small area of rotted wood on the roof, reshingled the spot and put on some new aluminum flashing. Cleaned up and was very thorough. I would hire him again for any small job or a complete new new roof.

These guys are terrific - walked me through the process before starting; arrived promptly, protected surrounding areas; completed the job quickly and professionally, and it looks great!. In addition, one of the other bids I received from a different contractor indicated that the roof deck was cedar strips and would need to be totally replaced with plywood. Carlson Bros. was prepared to do that, but I had a very pleasant surprise on the first day when they advised me the roof deck was actually in good shape and was not cedar strips (but rather a very strong tongue and groove construction) and only needed replacement in a few areas, which reduced the cost of the project significantly! Doug Carlson also personally conducted a follow up once the project was complete to make sure everything was done correctly and that I was satisfied. I obtained multiple estimates for this job, and selected Carlson Bros. based on friends and neighbors' experience with them, the appearance of the roofs, as well as their competitive pricing. Their team was extremely professional, courteous, and completed the job in just two days. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a roofing professional!

Originally spoke to Ron on Monday and he gave me the quote in writing by Tuesday. He told me the soonest that he could do it was on Saturday. Saturday, we spoke and he apologized because he'd got caught on another job. Assured me that he could do the work on Monday afternoon. As promised, at 1pm, his brother Rick and another employee showed up. Within minutes, they'd set up their equipment and were bending the sheet metal into the right shape using the original flashing as a template. That took them probably 15 minutes and another 15 minutes to carry the sections up and fasten it into place. My surprise came when settling the bill, Rick gave me a discount from the original quote which of course, made me even happier. I was very impressed at the professional manner and speed in which the quality work was done and would wholeheartedly recommend these contractors. It's always great to deal with a contractor like this. In fact, I'm waiting for another quote for installing either ice breakers or an ice melting system on the steep part of my roof.

Came on time, and was one of the few contractors that actually got back to us concerning our roof repair. The two roofers arrived on time, removed the tarp covering the damamged area, and replaced the missing shingles. They cleaned up after themselves and did not leave any mess, I am looking forward to working with Carlson Bros. again.

Ron came on Friday, April 30 to do an estimate. His brother Rich did the repair on Monday May 3. They were a delight to work with, prompt, professional, and clean. I would certainly hire them again when we need further work.

The salesman Steve was very pleasant. He sent followup emails after our appointment to see if we had questions, without pressuring us. We got a 2% discount for making a 50% down payment, which we paid in cash. The final bill was about $150 more than his estimate, but we only paid the amount agreed upon in the estimate, and Steve had no problem with that. The roof was done in one day and the gutters were done the next day. All the work was completed ahead of the originally scheduled date. It has held up well so far, even through the extreme weather we have had this winter. A minor quibble was that we ended up having to pick up about two dozen smallish pieces of trash from the yard along with a large piece of pink plastic. We would use them again.

Steve (sales rep.) was very friendly and honest. We appreciated the time he spent with us, however we decided to hire another company to do the job. We checked out all of the reference properties in our town that Carlson had on the list that Steve provided. We were able to speak with the owner of one of those properties who was not satisfied with the job he had done by this company about 6 years ago.

2nd time I have used them- very professional company and am happy with the results
