Larry was the Tech that came to my home, he arrived at 8:20 a few minute early than expected which was great. He got too work immediately with no hesitation.He answered any and all questions he was very knowledgeable on all. He gave me suggestions on things that he noticed, he was very neat and cleaned up aftger he was done for the day, he took a very short lunch and was right back to work, it was well worth the price, he asked if I had working smoke detector's just was an awesome experience and I would without a doubt recommend Princeton Electric Makeover, and will be working with them again in the very near future for any and all my Electrical needs.

Larry showed up on time. Got right to work. Added the box where I wanted it. Cleaned up and left. Total time just over 1 hour.

It was good. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. I actually ended up using them for some other stuff after I used them for the Big Deal. I was glad that I found them through Angie's List. They were really nice. First time, I had one of the guys come out. He was a really nice guy. He went through a lot of stuff with me. He hung up a fixture for me and then talked to me about some other work that I wanted done. Then the owner came out, after his employee told him about the other stuff I was asking for. He came out to do estimates and everything. He is a really nice guy too. So, I'm actually going to have them do some ceiling fans before it gets hot this summer. So they were really nice. I recommend them. They really took the time to explain stuff to me and go over all the options that were available like LED versus Fluorescent versus traditional and all that stuff. I think the owner is actually an electrical engineer. He is really knowledgeable and really helped me go around and look at all the stuff that I wanted to get done and really gave me specific things that I needed to think about or make sure I get when I bought the fixtures. What made me comfortable buying the Big Deal was that they already had 'A's.

Princeton Electrical Makeover was punctual about following up and providing an estimate. The guys that came to do the work finished a couple of hours before the estimated time, and were professional. Minor issue with the township inspector, who failed the work as the wrong kind of grounding wire was used. We followed up with the owner of Electrical Makeover and the very next day the issue was taken care of and inspector passed us! Would definitely use again, impressed with customer care and professionalism.

I purchased a 2 hour service special. Larry came on time, very professional and friendly. I also talked to his boss, Alex on the phone to ask his opinion about some possible future work. He sounded very knowledgeable and professional. I plan to use this company for my future needs and recommend them to anyone.

Electrician was prompt, friendly, professional, thorough, even crawling into the attic to search for the source of the problem. Working with the electrical team via Angie's List posts and emails was efficient, as was getting my quote and receipts. We easily set up a second appointment to finish the upgrade, at which time my questions about possible LED light fixture installment were relayed accurately to "The Boss," resulting in another quick and helpful response. Electrician went beyond my initial request by picking up and replacing a smoke alarm, the wiring of which turned out to be the culprit of the original electrical outage. I was very pleased.

to be fair, i had to reschedule the original appointment to later in the day as I was running late from a dr's appointment. Contractor never showed up. I rescheduled for another date/time and worked from home to get the estimate done. Contractor was a no show again. Very disappointing, but ended up finding a great local electrician any way.

Provider contacted me right away and scheduled the service about a week out, which was fine for me. The guys were professional and courteous and did such a great job that I had them do some additional work as well. Will for sure use them again!

Great service when I called to schedule and Larry was very clean and professional.

They arrived on time, were polite and tidy, and installed four recessed lights. They did a perfect job, and they cleaned up after themselves. We couldn't be more satisfied!

Alex came promptly,quoted the job, gave us suggestions on how to better plan for the placement of the lights. He installed about 25 neon tube lights, on separate circuits. The job was done very well. When we later on had questions, we called and Alex was very helpful. furthermore, one time when an alarm went off and we had no idea what it was, Alex came in 30 min, from another job he had, and immediately recognized the problem and solved it. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic job. Great to work with. Alex is smart, courteous, responsive, and trustworthy. The guys who work for him (I dealt with Larry and Marc) are very pleasant and hardworking. I highly recommend Princeton Electrical Makeover.

Initial contact: While having my air conditioner serviced (by another company) it became clear that there was a short somewhere and the unit was not grounded. This was late on a Friday afternoon. I found Alex on Angie's list, and I appreciate very much that he came over immediately after I called, diagnosed the problem and came up with a solution. Very personable and knowledgable. Was not able to schedule the work before another 6 business days, but since it was not an emergency, that was fine. Work done: His very polite, competent two-man team showed up right on time 8:30 on the second Monday morning, and finished the job by 1:30. I asked them about adjusting the price since Alex had told my husband and me that he thought it was a full day job for 2 or 3 guys. And this is where the problem is: Alex told them he had scheduled one guy for a full day, so it was the same as two guys for half a day. I would have been content if he said he charged by the job rather than the hour ? but this is definitely not what he had told us. The written quote I agreed to did not break down labor costs, so I didn't contest it further. But this was unpleasant enough that I will not use this company again. Shame really, because I think the work was good.

I had a very good interview. They spent a lot of time with the consultation, which I appreciated and knew exactly what the situation was. They didn't do any work. I would consider using them.

Alex quickly identified the problem and fixed it. Very knowledgeable and very efficient.

Good follow-up, provided a written estimate before the work was done, came to my house when promised, very professional while in my home.

They did the inspection and gave my system a clean bill of health. Then less than a month later we had a bulb in our living room explode out of nowhere that was so hot it melted the carpet. Not saying it was their fault but the guy could have been more diligent about the inspection. Also I have a fan in the house that was originally multi speed. had an issue with it and another guy wired it to just be on or off. asked him to look at it and he told me that it would need a complete rewire to get multi speed function. It had that feature before with the same wires.
