Alex came by and took a look at the situation. He did a fantastic job in assessing the problem, troubleshooting and fixing the issue. He made sure that the fix corrected the problem. As he was working on the problem, he took the time to explain to me what was wrong with the 3-way switch. I felt very comfortable and very confident in my decision in asking Princeton Electrical Makeover to fix our issue. Alex was pretty awesome. I will definitely give Alex a call the next time I need some electrical work done!!

Wow, these guys are good. Prompt, professional, nice, and smart. Figured out the issue in about 15 min, explained it to me, fixed it, and out the door in less than 45 min. Really great.

On August 2nd the electrical professional( I was told later that this was the owner) walks in looks at the fan and says that the fan needs to be re-balanced. He re-balances the fan. He says that use the fan but " not much ". He also says that the fan box needs to be fixed and re-balancing the fax was not the permanent solution and the fan box was not installed correctly, it will need to be taken apart and fixed. However he will not be able to do this today. I asked him why not and he tells me that 'this appointment was only for re-balancing'. I was dumbstruck. 5 minutes into the appointment he says that if I wanted him to come back and fix the fan box I will have to take another appointment but I still owe him $128 for this appointment. I asked him why he thought the appointment was for -rebalancing only and he said that that's what the dispatcher told him. Anyway he took his money and left. I later called the office manager/dispatcher and asked him why he thought the service call was for 're-balancing only' and his guy refused to fix the fan. He tells me that that is what he thought it was. Can you imagine? Meanwhile when I asked him for a 'refund' he gives me an offer. This is what the offer is : " Although they charge $150 for installing a new fan; he is going to charge me $200 to install a new fan; if I ever wanted to in future ; and then give me a $50 rebate '. Do the math. Does this make any sense? No right? Well this company is a rip-off!! They are not professional, they charge just for stepping foot in your house, and they tell me they do this all the time : if they come and determine that the work effort was way more than what they thought it would be, they always ask for another appointment ; in other words, more money. Don't hire them, there are other professionals in your area that will serve your needs and not rip you off.

On time, professional and efficient. Would recommend.

They were very responsive to schedule an appointment. The Technician went to a wrong house and could not find my place for some reason but when I called the office, they made sure the technician came back in an hour or so. The technician (I think his name was Larry) showed up, he was nice to talk and finished work quickly. I was very happy with the overall experience.

It sounded like a good deal. They wanted to install a generator and gave a price. I asked them to break it down by labor and materials. He said he couldn’t break it down. I got the deal refunded.

Alex and Larry were professional, knowledgable and thorough. I've recently had a lot of work done in my home and at times had contractors who should not be working in someone's home so I was reluctant to have yet another service provider. Alex and Larry restored my faith. They were considerate of my brand new wood floors, neat and precise in there work. There was an issue with one of the ceiling fans so I had to run to purchase another one. They waited for me to come back so they could complete the job. I will use them for all future electrical work.

Mark and Alex(not owner) worked well together, then met Larry on a second visit who also did a great job. The field team could not have been more helpful and detailed oriented. The team does the job the right way. The office was a little slow in getting back to me for dates(supposedly this is due to a increase in volume b of Angies list deal) but the owner, Alex, was very apologetic and tried to help me out in other ways. Hopefully, the responsiveness grade will improve as the office becomes more efficient. I would definitely work with this company again and Alex the owner is well intentioned with his customer service skills. He really likes to do things to please the customer. Thank you Alex.

Went very well. We had some scheduling problems in the beginning (they are very busy) but once we got that figured out all was well. They are neat & clean and professional. What was going to be a one day job turned into 1 day and a few hours because we kept adding things. They came the very next morning to finish no "we'll be back next week" because the job ran over. They were very accommodating and knowledgeable about how to make things work. I can't say enough about them really. They were great and their price was VERY reasonable compared to other companies. Great bunch of guys.

The electrician came on time. We realized later that he lives in our neighborhood itself, which is great. Very friendly and professional. He answered all of our questions/ concerns. I highly recommend them.

Very well, took two days but in the end was very pleased with the work they did. All the outlets and receptacles where placed exactly where I wanted them .The electrician they sent (Larry) was very professional cleaned up and had no hesitations about working in a 100 degree attic.

I was pleased with the work. The house is 60 years old and has not been modernized and the technican Larry seemed skilled at problem solving and installation. The person in the office Alex was helpful when I called in advance to identify the parts I needed to purchase. This is the second time I have used Princeton Electrical Makeover and I will use them again.

They were excellent and on time. I honestly thought I had enough projects for four hours, but they were done in three, so I didn't get to take advantage of the full deal I purchased. If I had had the additional materials to do a few other projects I was thinking about, I would have pursued, but ultimately, they did what I initially wanted done, so I sent them on their way. They were fast, efficient, and friendly. If and when I feel compelled to do the other less urgent projects I was thinking about, I will definitely give them a call.

We were very happy with their service. Larry was great! It went smoothly, and we would definitely hire them again!

he changed 2 of the bulbs but did not center the trim, he did not install the boxes either.

There was good communication regarding my appointment and he showed on the day he was supposed to. He was a little late but he called me to let me know. It didn't take very long. My invoice was emailed to me which was nice. I would hire him in the future. One thing to not would be he didn't clean up after putting the light which I thought would be something they normally do but I'm not sure maybe its not the standard.

I purchased a $399 electrician for a day deal. Two people arrived to reduce the overall time and did all the installations in a few hours. I was pleased with their work and purchased an additional deal ($39) from them for a much smaller job a month later. I would definitely use them again.

Larry showed up early and did an excellent job. He was super friendly and professional throughout.

I had asked Alex, the owner, to oversee the job and he personally did the job with one assistant. They were professional and neat and also oversaw the permit process. He was missing one small piece to fill a spot in the box and personally delivered and installed it the next day. I was very pleased with the work and would definitely use them again.
