They (5 crew members) arrived promptly at 8:00am and immediately started laying tarps throughout the woork area. They baned in all petruding nails and spackled them and all cracks. They also applied cork wherever needed. They sanded and applied a primer wherever necessary and then they applied 2 coats to all surfaces. When finished I isnpected the work with the foreman. The workers were polite, industrious and professional. I have used them twicw and would recommend them to everyone!!

Responded in a timely manner, friendly and trustworthy crew with foreman and several painters, followed up and came back quickly to touch up a few misses. This was good experience.

The first morning, Rick the supervisor called to alert me that they would be a little late in arriving (as opposed to just showing up whenever). The men (3) got right to work and accomplished what they had told me what they would accomplish.

Warren came out and took the time to review what we needed and gave us a quote. Luis and crew were extremely attentive and gave us the best customer service.

We had our basement rebuilt. We had bookshelves/ TV area/ cabinets built in. Benjamin Moore suggested it be spray painted. They were the only painters who knew spray painting on the TV AREA WAS NECESSARY. I was very hesitant, never having something inside spray painted. I CONTACTED Benjamin Moore. The work was very well done. The rest of the room was also painted, as well as the trim and closets. Our crew leader was Jose who was extremely responsible, respectful. I will have them again. Thank you Spectrum?!

Jose did a great job. There was considerable prep work involved - plaster walls that haven't been painted in 10 years. Peeling paint, lots of small holes, scratches, imperfections in the plaster. Looks great now! (The real test will be how the repairs hold up over time.) Crew moved and covered all furniture and rugs carefully. Removed drapery hardware and reinstalled upon completion. They cleaned up thoroughly at end of each day (2 day job). Some challenges installing crown molding due to imperfect ceiling, but Jose made it work and the end result looks terrific. Rich was very responsive to my phone calls and answering any questions/concerns. I was not home to complete a walkthrough and so did so myself the following day. Noticed a few minor areas that needed to be touched up. Rich got right back to me and scheduled a time for Jose to come back. Jose came back, addressed my concerns. Both he and Rich are extremely professional and personable. This is a business built on customer service and quality. The price was high, but it the repairs hold up it will be well worth it.

It started a bit rocky and ended well. Spectrum charges premium prices and delivers with detailed and specific expectation setting and quality work. After the initial inspection we experienced delays and confusion in receiving our bid. Throughout this process, we were told that Spectrum was converting to iPad and were having some problems. Although frustrating, Spectrum's acknowledgment of the problems and their offer to hand-deliver the bid once a couple of electronic attempts were made was the appropriate response. The bid and contract were clear and comprehensive. Coordination of paint colors, including recommendations of finish and paint quality from Spectrum, scheduling and meeting the job start commitment all went smoothly. On the day of the job start I received a phone call regarding a misunderstanding between Spectrum and my GC on-site. My preference would have been for that to be resolved, without my involvement, by the two professionals that I had hired to do the work. However, after a quick conversation with Spectrum I was assured that all would be taken care of and that they would do what they had to do to ensure the job was done well and on-time. Spectrum delivered on this promise and the on-site supervisor stayed for a few hours after job completion to touch-up a couple of small imperfections that we had noticed. Work was done quickly, professionally and with respect to our household. We will use Spectrum again.

We couldn't be more pleased with the results. We were in a hurry to get this painting done and they were able to start the day after we got the estimate! We were told it would take two days and that is how long it took. The crew was on time both days, were professional and accommodating and they worked hard. They also were careful about protecting other areas of the house during the job and they cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. This area had not been painted in more than 10 years and there were a fair number of small cracks and nicks in the walls, doors and door frames and there were also visible sheetrock seams in the center of both sides of the long hallway. The Spectrum crew fixed all of these flaws before painting and this part of the house looks brand new and absolutely spectacular now! We would definitely use Spectrum again the next time we need painting done.

The team was very professional; They arrived on-time, as scheduled and were ready to go. They carefully checked to make sure they clearly understood our needs. Rich was also there to kick things off. The crew made a noticeable effort to ensure that rooms/areas were properly prepared to prevent any paint splatter or other damage to furniture, floors, windows, etc. The team was very flexible and took great care to make sure that my wife and I were happy with interum & final results. If we noticed something that required a bit of additional attention (i.e. some paint on trim from a previous paint job), Rich?s team would clean those items up prior to finishing. When the job was complete, the cleanup was performed with an attention to detail. Since the preparation was so thorough, there was no real mess once all the gear, drop and protective coverings were removed. The rooms were put back to look as if they had never been disturbed and with the new paint, they look fantastic! We are very pleased with the overall painting results. One real nice customer service touch was that Rich stopped by or checked in several times during the job to make sure everything was to our liking. I would definitely recommend Spectrum! In fact, we plan to use then again soon for some of the other living areas in the house (Bedrooms, Bathrooms, etc). It will be like we have a brand new house! Thanks, Rich & Spectrum! Dave & Nancy

The price of my job may seem high...but all I can say is you get what you pay for and I have a larger home with a two story living and dining room, 5 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, a finished basement and 3 car garage. First of all the team of painters in my home for a solid 10 days were fantastic. They were all punctual, professional and worked incredibly diligently and efficiently. The only break they took during the day was for lunch and they often worked from 7:30 am - 6 or later. Even on Sunday I had 4 workers here to meet my time frame. Additionally we had 3 snow storms during this week and a half and all of the painters made it to work...for which I was very grateful! And as I was alone in the house with these gentlemen all day and into the evening I can not overstate how important it was that I felt safe with them. The owner Rich and his estimator, Warren, visited the site regularly and were very attentive to my requests. Rich was even more detail oriented than I was, always circling back to inspect the work and make sure it was perfect. An example of Rich's personal involvement was when my porcelain laundry sink was inadvertently scratched by a steel brush when one of the painters was washing up: Rich himself came to investigate and cleaned the sink perfectly like new! I had already planned to have my garage painted to freshen it, but then elected to also have the floor painted with an epoxy with chips. It looks great...and will be easier to keep clean. All in all Spectrum Painting is a AAA business and I already told the guys I will be looking for them when it's time to paint my exterior, too.

We are very pleased with the work that was done. The men were prompt, courteous and very neat. They covered all the furniture and placed drop cloths on the floors. We will certainly call them for our next painting project.

5 man crew arrived on time. Surprisingly finished job in one day.

Warren came out to the house the same day I called in. He did a thorough inspection of what we wanted to do. He made some great suggestions and then went into detail about what needed to be done and how long it would take. Warren had official paperwork he was filling out for the job and you could tell they do this day in and day out. One of the requests I made was to get the job done very quickly before the thanksgiving holiday. They were able to accommodate. I was then in contact with the Ashley over email about paint colors and timing of the project. As explained by email( i prefer over the phone). Abraham and his team showed up bright and early at 8am to start the work. Abraham came in and introduced himself and we quickly went over what was to be done and how long it would take. From there they hung up plastic sheets to keep dust out of the other rooms and prepped the areas. They were extremely neat and removed their shoes without even me asking. They worked until about 5:30pm and finished up a good portion of the work. The workers were friendly and extremely quite. While working Abraham came over and wanted to talk to me. He explained that our High Hats were very old and if we could get them replaced it would really make the ceiling look great. He said I just needed to go purchase them and that he would spackle around the openings, sand and install them. So I ran out to the local hardware store and picked them up. I was able to get them in white and brought them back to Abraham. By the time I came back the lights were already spackled waiting for the High hat install. After they completed painting the kitchen and the ceiling it made a huge difference. The high hats cost me $25 dollars. If i were to do it later on it would not have looked as nice or flush. I am glad that Abraham brought the lights to my attention. It is those little things that make you understand that they care and have your back. The whole project took about a day and a half and the whole experience beat my expectations on the work, the quality and care. I recommend Abraham and his team at Spectrum Painting and Paper Hanging. I will be calling Spectrum in the spring time to start on my second floor and paint the exterior of the house.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and talent that Rich and his team at Spectrum provided. I figured from all the reviews that they were a reputable company, and they were excellent. Warren, their consultant, was very clear with the price and what he could do for me on day one during the estimate. The scheduling was easy and the painters were very punctual, friendlly and skillful. Rich, the owner, did a walk through on the first and last day and made sure everything was exactly as it was supposed to be. I would definitely refer my family and friends and anybody interested in need of a quality painting job done to Spectrum.

As usual, the project (s) were a complete success. Their preparation work is the most professional that I have seen. It determines whether a project will be a success and they are great at preparation.

They arrived on time both days. All of the personnel, the estimator the office staff and the crew were a pleasure to work with. The painters were absolutely meticulous with all the details. They cleaned up both days and on their way out the door. They were very careful to protect the newly finished oak floor and stairs. We anticipate their return for more work.

I found they responded promptly. The person who came out was very knowledgeable and personable. Provided a detailed estimate and followed up with me with phone calls. However I did not pursue them because the pricing was out of my budget. Although, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them for other jobs.

I called Spectrum just two weeks before my closing on a new house. Rich was able to quickly consult on my project and provide a thorough estimate for the services needed before our move-in date. Ibo and his crew did a masterful job, consulting on color/wainscoting detail and executing brilliantly in our short time-frame. As a result, our new house quickly began to fee like the warm, inviting home we envisioned for our family. We absolutely plan to have Spectrum back for more projects in the future!

Excellent. Couldn't have been happier. They were referred to by one of my colleagues who had used them many times in the past. They were very courteous and professional. They came in on a Friday and agreed to start the work on Monday at a moment's notice. This was for 3 floors and living area in excess of 2000 sq ft (inc basement). They understood my tight time line (needed the work to be completed in 4 to 5 days) and brought in additional resources to have the work completed on time. Every one who has since seen the work have been very complimentary of the professional job they did. The owners Rich and Warren are down to earth and take good care of their customers. I would gladly welcome them back for any other work I might have and also have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to others. Such personalized customer service is hard to find and they are definitely right there with the top in terms of my best customer service experiences.

We worked a lot with Warren trying to get our painted gray deck back to a natural looking stain. He was so patient and helpful while assisting us to get the possible result and his responsiveness was immediate and appreciated. The paint that was still on the deck was a challenge to remove and Warren and his team came worked diligently to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. The painting crew was very professional and did a great job, especially during the extreme heat wave. We were very happy with Spectrum's services, responsiveness and crew.

Our job was really a bunch of little jobs all rolled into one. The detail involved with getting all of that coordinated and done really required a company to come in and pay attention. I had two other companies to come in and quote, neither of which really paid attention to the job or what I was asking and they both handed me a quote which wasn't very detailed and didn't explain what would be included or how the job was getting done. Spectrum came in to quote wrote it all down and emailed a quote which included all the work and described how the job would get done and what to expect from them. They did come in at a higher price, but you get what you pay for, and I was more than thrilled with the level of professionalism and attention to detail. I would recommend them to all my friends. Any issues we had were dealt with immediately by Ibo and finished the same day, zero excuses and many apologies for not having it done right from the beginning.

The team consisted of Mr. Jose Roca and Mr. Kenny Rodrigues. Arrived on time and went right to work. If I had any questions they were answered immediately. Both were very customer friendly ( which I look for). They were also very knowledgeable concerning the work they do. I asked for an estimate from the owner for an epoxy garage and basement using the materials I had searched out on the internet. They did their homework which involved reading over the instructions on how to install the product I requested. No problem for them. They brought the proper equipment to do the job and did an OUTSTANDING JOB. I should add that working with a paint formula and adding an epoxy liquid makes the overall batch fast to harden. So, timing was also involved in the job. They had to mix only a certain amount at a time as so the whole batch would not harden before use. I am so happy to be an Angie's List member. I have had so many great service people. Spectrum Painting & Paper Hanging, LLC is an asset to the North Jersey community. They do a Great job and the customer does not have to worry if it will turn out o.k. or not. I recommend them to everyone. The materials I used was from a company called Armorclad Coatings. Check them out on the internet if you want your basement or garage floor coated with a beautiful and lasting finish.

The work done by Spectrum Paining could not have been better. They kept in contact by letting us know when they would be coming. The man who stained our deck did a terrific job. It looks like new and we enjoy using it now. Both the man who power washed our deck and the man who stained it were pleasant and professional. We could not be more pleased with the work performed on our deck and side stairs. We would definitely use their services again.
