Here's a long story...I am wrapping up the renovation of an interior facelift and painting was the last step. When I was first getting quotes I had called Spectrum and Rich came out within the week and gave me a quote for the work. I was not ready at that time to commit and his quote was one of the highest I received. Since we were spending so much money on the renovation I decided to be penny-wise and pound foolish and hired a different painter for other rooms based on word of mouth recommendations. The first painter did great work but showed up sporadically and then disappeared before the job was finished. I then hired another painter based on word of mouth and this one did an awful job ? in fact he painted our foyer but clearly cut corners and the entire room needed to be repainted. Finally, I decided to hire Spectrum based on the quote they sent me and from reading recommendations on Angie?s List. Well I was NOT disappointed! From the customer service (Rich, Charlie and Karen), answering my questions and working with my schedule over the holidays ? to the crew that showed up ? as scheduled and on time ? everyone was super friendly, cooperative, professional and great to work with. The crew did an amazing job and were super respectful. They touched up a few things that were not on the scope of work (including capturing an errant baby squirrel that made its way into the house somehow!), and made recommendations that made sense! My husband and I very VERY particular and Spectrum exceeded our expectations ? this is how you want a contractor to be. The rooms look fantastic ? all of their lines are super crisp and clean; and not a drop of paint ended up where it wasn't supposed to! Any time I have a contractor in I get very anxious (did I choose the right person? Are they going to do a great job...) - with Spectrum I know that anxiety is completely gone and I can trust them to do the right thing. I have more work coming in the spring and will definitely have them back to do it!

The team was on time, did great work, touch ups, additional work as requested and cleaned up well. Was very polite and respectful. This is the second time we have used Spectrum and we will be using them again in the near future. We are very satisfied

I will start off by saying that I usually don't write reviews however this is one time that I felt it would be appropriate. I started shopping for painting companies for a full house interior paint job. I had two other companies give me estimates before Spectrum. I came across Spectrum Painting on Angie's List when I did detail search for companies close to my house. The company had many positive reviews so I reached out to them via email. I received a quick response back from the owner, Rich and set-up time for free estimate. Once at the house we did the full walk through and spoke about the scope of the job. Rich gave full detail about the company and how they approach each job. I was impressed with the work guarantee that they offer and in addition, the paint consultation with their partners at the paint company. I received estimate a few days later and it was competitive with the other estimates that I had received. We decided to move forward with Spectrum. They were very responsive to the few questions we had and Rich was involved in every conversation. The consultation was great. This was a huge help for us. It was getting close to the holidays and Rich advised if we can be ready they can start right away due to a reschedule. The crew showed up right on time and they were ready to of to work. They had a process in place and put it to use efficiently. The crew (including crew leader) were very nice and friendly and they knew what they were doing. I will admit that some of the walls needed some work and they did a real nice job with them. They covered all the furniture and flooring so nothing would get damaged. After each day, the crew would go over what they did and what they would be working on the following day. We needed some carpentry work as well and they have their own carpenter on call which was great. Overall we are very happy with the final outcome and it was very easy dealing with everyone in Spectrum (from the officer personnel to the Crew to the owner). We are planning on having Spectrum do some additional work in the Spring.

Charlie came and reviewed what we wanted, made suggestions on how to maximize my budget and worked with us to make sure we were happy. Tommy did the carpentry and was awesome. He checked with us throughout the project to make sure the look we were getting met our expectations. He worked so cleanly, it was hard to tell he was in the middle of a job every night when he left. Ibo and the crew came in to paint and pulled it all together. They literally transformed the room. Three coats of one color above the perimeter shelving and 2 coats of another below, nail holes all patched.. done in 1 day. Amazing! I will be using them again.

They were a little pricey but the workmanship seems to be excellent. They were prompt and punctual for all appointments.

Fantastic. We had spectrum out back in January 2014 to spackle, prime and paint the entire dining room and living room. The experience from the beginning was professional and prompt. A month ago I noticed a vertical crack on my dining room wall and few chips throughout my living room. I contacted customer service and Rich got right back to me. Rich and Jose took care of everything. I was concerned why this was happening when the home was painted not even a year ago, Rich came out and went over everything with us. Couldn't be more satisfied. Would highly recommend this company for anyone willing to pay for great service all around.

I called Spectrum Painting for an estimate to have a popcorn-textured ceiling repaired and painted in my second bedroom. This I needed done ASAP. Additionally, and at a lower priority, was an estimate to paint all the popcorn-textured ceiling because they appeared to not have been painted since the condo complex we built. The Spectrum office set up the appointment for Tuesday because the owner, Rich, was on vacation until the following week. On Monday, Rich called me to ask what the situation was. I explained the room and the urgency to get the second bedroom ceiling painted. On Tuesday, as we approached the arrival time, Rich called and said he was running 10-15 minutes late and asked his new arrival time would be okay. I said it was fine. Upon arrival, I took Rich into the room, and asked his opinion on the work. I told him not only did I want the ceiling done, but perhaps fix the drywall joint that we had tried to repair and repaint all the walls professionally. He said none of that looked necessary because the joint didn't look that bad and we had already painted the walls. His recommendation was to just fix and paint the ceiling. The master bedroom's walls and window seat area needed painting so I asked for an estimate there too. In the rest of the condo the hall, living room/dining room/kitchen and cathedral ceiling was all the same cream/beige color. That included the doors and trim. Rich said if I was going to do the ceiling I should really do the walls too or it would look shabby. It was true because the prior owners did an amateurish paint job leaving red, and partially painted walls. I asked Rich if he had someone to help me out with the colors to give it some personality and that's when his office hooked me up with Pam. Pam showed up the day or so after we spoke. She spent about an hour to an hour and half going through the rooms and selecting colors. When she was done, we have about 6 colors including white for the ceiling. We wanted to separate the living room, dining room, kitchen into distinctive areas because they were all really the same room. The next day, Pam passed the painting instructions to the Spectrum office. The next Spectrum was ready to schedule to start painting the next week. Instead of just doing the secondary bedroom's ceiling (the rush job I needed done), they wanted to do it all in two days. On Tuesday, Oldemar and his crew showed up promptly at 8:30. Oldemar checked out the condo and we confirmed the painting instructions. I told him I wasn't really expecting them to do everything in two days because I wanted to be some crown molding put up around the the kitchen walls to give them a finished look and that I wanted a chair rail in the dining room. I asked if he knew anyone that could do these sorts of things and he said they did! Who knew! He gave me an estimate and I signed off. Oldemar left to pickup the supplies. As Oldemar put up the crown molding molding and the chair rail his crew was at work in the bedrooms. They moved the furniture to the center of the room and covered everything in layers of plastic. By the afternoon, the crew had worked their way down the hall ceiling into the cathedral ceiling of the main room. A veil of plastic was dropped from the ceiling and separated where we were sitting from their paint area. At the end of they day, the veil was dropped and they started to pack up. The team piled all their supplies neatly in the corner and took off. They next day, the team arrived at 08:00. We moved all the living room furniture to the center of the room, removed the flat panel TV From the wall, and everything... and I mean everything was covered in plastic (including the kitchen floor). I took the cats and went into the master bedroom until they were done. I only poked my head out once or twice. The team was accommodating in all things. In the master bedroom, the vents and outlet covers were painted the same color as the room and I asked them to paint them white which they did. In the dining room, they painted the vents and outlet covers to match the wall paint. Instead of asking them to repaint them white too, I took their lead and asked them to repaint the ones in the bedroom to match the walls too (for consistency). As for a missed spot or two (really really tiny spot), I simply pointed it out and they were on it. When I emerged at the end of they day... WOW. The entire place was transformed. The team took the boring cream/beige condo and gave it life (using Pam's color selections of course). The crown molding, the chair rail, the paint.. they took when looked like a rental apartment and turned it into a home. The entire Spectrum Painting team, from office workers to painters, did a fantastic job. They were professional, accommodating, polite, and friendly. I had no worries letting them into my home. Now that the condo looks so good, the builder brass door hardware needs to be replaced. The problem is the door knob lock is too small. Who should I call to install the new hardware... why Spectrum Painting for their Handyman service.

The appointment was scheduled and I arranged to be home during the work day. But, on the morning of the appointment, the owner called to say he couldn't make it. He then asked me how serious i was because he said he had lots of requests for estimates and then didn't get the job. He said he was too busy to do estimates. This is unprofessional and discurtious.

All the workers were friendly, knew their work, were neat and did a fine job. The only negative was the price, the costs doubles or more other quotes.

The crew that completed the work was professional, neat, polite and extremely competent. They actively sought my wife's and my thoughts and feedback throughout the project and once the work was completed performed a walk around the house to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. They were patient and helpful with us as we tried to decide on paint and stain combinations.

All people involved in this project were professional, punctual, responsive , excellent at their job and polite. Warren was the first person I met from Spectrum. Very knowledgable about his business and listened well to my requests. Jose M. power washed my home and shed. Excellent Job!! Ruedi. Alex and Jose all painted the exterior of the house and shed. What a transformation.! !! Again , Excellent Job!! Lisa was involved in color selection. She even stopped by my home on a Saturday to pick a sample of the masonry to match the color for the foundation of the house. She was also very helpful with scheduling so I could get many things done. Karen sent me the bill which was less than I expected. A Happy Surprise!! Charlie stopped by to see how things were moving along. This was terrific because I was gong to call Spectrum a little later that afternoon to ask if someone could estimate doing interior painting. Charlie took the time, photos and listened to my requests, telling me other options I could consider and also said that in addition to painting, they were also offering handyman and carpentry services. It appears to me that the Spectrum family has a high regard for professionalism, very respectful of each other and they really do listen to the customers needs, wants and concerns. I am so pleased with their work that, I will be hiring them to paint the interior of my home. Thanks Spectrum for an overall Excellent Experience. !!! PS Also thanks for the cookies!!

Work was completed in two days -- first the power-washing, then one worker came and completed all the rest in one day. Timeline was a bit long from when we first contacted them, but we were prepared for that because things are busy in summer and the weather conditions have to be right. Spectrum has been great to work with -- we used them for a painting job when we bought our house in the spring, and they were so reliable and easy to work with, we contacted them again for the deck. With the home painting, they accommodated a fairly tight timeline to get painting done in 7.5 rooms before our move-in date. The end result looks great, the house was left in perfect clean condition, and the price was very fair. The deck also looks very nice. We appreciate all the guidance Warren offers -- particularly as first-time homeowners, we found him to be a wealth of knowledge and advice, including on ways to save money by not doing unnecessary repainting or deck work. We would work with them again and have already recommended them to others.

Everything went smoothly. The garage was the most time consuming and the end result was great. When we were able to pull the cars in for the first time, I thought we were driving them into a showroom! The basement was transformed into another room.

Great job, neat as a pin and perefect

We were VERY pleased with Spectrum. The work was completed in one day. The team was very punctual and very professional. They took great care to cover our new cabinets and floors. They work is meticulous - no smudges, drips or wavy lines. They all worked very hard the entire day. We had one tricky wall in the laundry room that previously had wallpaper - and the finish is now so smooth, you would never suspect there had ever been wallpaper at all. We found the team very hardworking - and we would definitely recommend them and use again.

Tried calling, but they didn't answer. Placed an inquiry on their website, but no one bothered getting back to me.

I have a raised deck some 14x20 feet, with a stair case. The floor boards were down to the raw wood due to the rotten weather last winter, and they were covered with sap spots from an overhanging spruce tree. Spectrum came promptly to give me an estimate for power washing and sealing, which was quite reasonable. We arranged a time and they came when scheduled. They initially left some sap spots after the power wash, but removed them all by hand when they came to stain. They did a marvelous job. I don't recall the deck ever looking so good. Everyone involved was pleasant and professional. What a pleasure!

At the very start as we began considering doing the job, Spectrum provided a consultant to come in and advise on work that I was planning. Warren was extremely professional, courteous and had excellent input that shaped the job that we wound up booking. I told them I liked Benjamin Moore paint and we were told to pick our color from any manufacturer and Spectrum will handle the rest... and they did. We emailed the color to Spectrum and they arrived with the exact paint color. The crew was excellent. They arrived on time, were knowledgeable, professional, clean as could be and took pride in doing the job right. The crew chief painted a very sizeable section of the wall and called me in to make sure I liked the way the color looked for the room, assuring me that it was no issue if I had a concern. Before leaving for the night, the entire work area was vacuumed with a hepa-filter vaccuum and they removed all refuse. The work they did on my raised, 7 year old deck was equally professional. They left it looking brand new. I would highly recommend Spectrum on the professionalism of their entire staff, from the crew right on up to the office. Their work was excellent and their prices were very fair.

I am pleased with the results. The deck looks great.
