This review is only about the price quoted for a job. The estimator was punctual, pleasant, and a true salesman. This was for a large interior painting job with high ceilings in some parts, window and doors, etc. However, Spectrum's estimate was MORE than double the price for the same work quoted by multiple other companies who also received very favorable reviews here. None of the reasons for this excessively inflated price the estimator stated would cause me to disregard common sense. I live in a newer home in a nice town. Let's hope this wasn't a case of "differential pricing." Do yourself a favor and get a few quotes from highly rated companies.

Spectrum Painting painted my kitchen cabinets, kitchen and laundry room in November of 2015. We were so pleased with the work and the crew we had them come back and paint the rest of our house. They are extremely professional, and their work was great. They make sure that everything is completed to your satisfaction. I would not hesitate to refer them, in fact I already have.

I have to say that the owner, Rich, definitely stands behind his work and wants to make sure his customers are totally satisfied. I was not quite happy with a prior paint job that was done, which had never happened in my prior dealings. Rich offered to give me another painter for the day ,at no cost to make up for the last visit. I was truly happy with the painter he sent me (Oldemore) , he was polite and extremely neat, as well as the supervisor who visited to oversee the job to make sure it was to my liking. My house was left clean and spotless. I will continue to use Spectrum because this has proven to me that no matter how small or big the job is Rich believes in 100% customer satisfaction and I appreciated him taking the the time to call me to discuss my feedback. Spectrum was on time, very professional, courteous & clean. They are reasonably priced, finished the work when promised and any concerns were addressed promptly.

We met with Charlie for a free estimate and he provided an extremely detailed quote and answered all of our questions with ease. Once we decided to book Spectrum, he introduced us to Pam for a free in-home color consultation. Pam was AMAZING and helped us pick colors that we would have never considered. She didn't rush us in the process and made the color-picking process painless (and we were dreading it). On the first day of work, Charlie made introductions to our crew and confirmed all of the details of the job. Our crew leader, Jose, was easily accessible through email and text throughout the entire process. I was a bit nervous about having the team in our house while we weren't home, but soon realized what a wonderful team of professionals we had working with us. Arriving home each day, Carlos took the time to walk us through the work they had completed that day and what they intended to do the next day. It was clear that customer satisfaction was the number one priority. When we indicated areas with minor imperfections, the crew took care of it without hesitation. We did notice that some tops of windows/door frames were painted while others weren't, but when asked to make sure all were painted this was taken care of. The quality of work is excellent and you can't even tell we ever had textured ceilings. After removing some poorly installed crown moulding and finding hidden wires, Jose texted my husband before proceeding to get approval on how we would like to handle this unforeseen issue. He did not move forward without our written consent. While working, one light bulb broke and the crew lost a dimmer switch. These were replaced without us having to ask. Little things like that go a long way. Everyone on the crew was professional and respectful and they all worked extremely hard each day. It was clear that they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with their work. As an added bonus, the crew communicated directly with our flooring company who were simultaneously refinishing our hardwood floors. They worked out a schedule so that they would not be in each other's way. Once our floors were finished, Spectrum came back in to re-paint the base moulding and even touched up some marks on the wall that resulted from our flooring company's equipment. We would definitely recommend them to others and use them again ourselves.

I am a repeat user of Spectrum. The office does an exceptional job of collecting the details of the job and scheduling the work. The crew was on time, polite, attentive to detail and constantly sought our comments and approval. They went overboard to protect furniture, floors and other rooms for dust and contamination. In short, they far exceeded my expectation. They stand by their work did repairs on a tough wall paper job previously done.

Rich and his crew were tremendous and painted and paper hung bathrooms and hallways in my house. They were meticulous and very professional. I highly recommend this company for all your painting and paper hanging needs. They may not be the cheapest but are by far the most professional. Thank you very much for all your effort. We will 100% use them for all our future painting needs.

Overall they were great. They are pricey - one of the highest quotes we got. But their contract was very detailed and professional. It outlined in detail the services that would be provided and broke down by each room. The quality of the work was very good. They only underestimated the amount of time (days) it would take to paint the house. It wasn't much of a big deal to us since we weren't living there, yet. If you're willing to pay the extra for piece of mind on a job well done, Spectrum is great. While not most economical, I would go back to them for bigger jobs or jobs in more prominent rooms (ie living/dining/kitchen/family rooms). Bedrooms and other rooms where quality is less of an issue, you may want to look at more budget friendly options. I will use them again.

They were awesome! From the initial visit by Charlie Barratta, the Estimator, to the paint consultation with Pam, to the whole crew of Carlos and Jose...Everyone was courteous, professional, helpful, and genuinely interested in pleasing us and meeting our needs. The work was done on time, on budget and beautfully! I would recommend them to all!

First and foremost - Rich from Spectrum was very accommodating - I needed an estimate scheduled around my work hours - he came at 7am before I left for work to review and quote the job. I was under pressure to get the room painted before furniture was delivered so my timeline was tight. Spectrum's estimate was fair, in writing and right in the middle of 2 other quotes I had received. Spectrum's team arranged their schedule to be at my house before I left for work, they were professional, clean and very thorough. I received calls for clarification throughout the 2 days. There was an issue with the wallpaper that caused an increase in the estimate, Rich from Spectrum had warned me that there could be before hand, and I wasn't really surprised as the wallpaper had probably been on the walls and the ceiling for more than 30 years. Spectrum called me to describe the work that needed to be done and got my authorization for the increase before doing the work. The team was thorough, cleaned up well each day, there was no paint on the windows or floors. Overall, I cant say enough about what a great job they did. I would definitely use them again for my next project;

Spectrum painting originally came in June to give me an estimate to stain my exterior deck. While they were there I also had them give me the estimate for some interior work I needed done but was not going to do until the fall. Charlie came promptly on time and was able to meet with me early in the morning so that I didn't have to miss any time at work. This was really appreciated and already I could see that they were willing to go above and beyond. We went through all aspects of both jobs, he was very thorough and was able to answer many questions that I had. About a day later I had 2 separate estimates sent to me, I reviewed them and made some small changes. I promptly received the revised proposal. The cost for the deck was $1,380.00 plus tax. I had received a few other estimates for the deck, they were all within a few hundred dollars of each other, I ultimately decided on Spectrum as they had such great reviews and seemed knowledgeable without being pushy. I signed the contract and sent in a deposit, they were really busy and it took a couple of weeks to get on the schedule, but I wasn't in a hurry so that was fine. The crew who did my deck were polite and professional and did a fabulous job! I have a large deck with a lot of lattice work and it was close to 100° outside on the days that they came, they never complained and paid attention to all the small details. They cleaned up and stayed in contact with me during the entire project as necessary. I will follow up with another review for my interior painting, but suffice it to say that I will never use another painting service again. Stop looking around and making yourself crazy, if you want it done right, and you want to move forward with your project with full confidence-then these are the people to call-seriously, you won't be sorry!

all.First I should point out that I'm a single male with no experience in painting or interior design. If I were to choose a color for virtually anything, it would invariable be wrong. I was faced with challenge of selecting paint colors for previously papered walls as well as walls that were simply being repainted, but in a different color. Fortunately I found a great gal to help me with the process and that made it all go much easier. Lesson: Try to figure out as far in advance as possible what your paint color choices will be. A team of 2 arrived on the appointed date on time. Little time was wasted before they began their work, stripping wallpaper. They moved quickly and mad it look it easy. On the second day day, we were besieged by at least half a dozen additional employees who arrived on time and went to work almost immediately. The key to Spectrum's operational excellence is their Crew Chiefs who oversee and manage the work every day. They also serve as your operational liaison with the company head, Rich Lauretta. The two Crew Chiefs who worked on my project were some of the finest, cooperative and people-pleasing workers I have ever encountered, Rich trains his people technically and in terms of customer service on a regular basis---and it shows. The project was completed within a total of 5 days, a monumental accomplishment. During the project, I wanted to some changes made and they were done efficiently and with a smile. Not unreasonably, if the scope of work materially enlarges, you should expect an increase in fees. Rich is a good businessman, but fair. Spectrum did not wish to be paid until I had the opportunity to examine the entire job. I did and found a very small number of minor fixes were necessary. They were done quickly and without complaint. Spectrum was fairly priced for the high quality they delivered as well as their flexibility and desire to make you, the customer, happy. As we all should know, there is no free lunch. If you want quality and a good working experience, you should be prepared to pay for it. I'm happy I did. A company's culture starts from the stop and to that extent I congratulate Rich Lauretta in building a fine company.

Everything was done perfectly. Two carpenters and a paint crew of 4 came on Thursday; on Friday morning a paint crew of 5 came and in the afternoon 4 more painters came. The work was completed by 8PM - everything cleaned up. Done in 2 days - great! Before painting they removed the valances, paintings, sconces, TV, moved furniture into the middle of the rooms and covered all, and when finished replaced everything as it had been including connecting the TV. They were very professional - neat, polite, knowledgeable, etc. The contract even included (for free) a consultant, Pam, who came and helped us with the color decisions. We used 3 colors (1 above the chair rail in the hall which then went up the stairs and also into the living and dining rooms; 1 below the chair rail which then went into the breakfast nook; the 3rd was an accent wall at the end of the dining room) plus of course white on the ceilings, molding and chair rails. They made everything easy for us. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family with no hesitation.

Lots of contact with the schedule team, sent pics of the work area and discussed our problem. Provider offered a better solution and made appointment to install handrail. We originally thought we'd have to build new step or adapt old ones. He was helpful and efficient and my mother was very pleased with the work. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Great - good progress for estimating, good communication, excellent & professional crew.

Mike and his team showed at 8am on October 6th as promised to work. We did a walk through of my home and identified what was supposed to be painted and confirmed the colors that we picked out. They commenced to painting over the next two days and cleaned up after each day to ensure we could move around once they were done. The entire team was respectful and very professional the entire time. I will definitely use Spectrum in the future; my home looks awesome.

I had a leak from the refrigerator water line overnight, which flooded the ceiling and wall below it. I had a remediation company take down the sheetrock and wet insulation, and dry everything out. Spectrum came to put it all back together. The quality of the sheetrock work and painting was perfection. they are artists. One note if you have this kind of work done, make sure replacing the removed insulation is listed in the scope of work/estimate. I didn't notice it missing until they had finished. I called to ask about it. They were very honest, admitted that it had been missed and addressed it.

They were very professional and pleasant and did an excellent job.

Wilson and his crew were on time. They stayed until 7:30 PM to finish work. Wilson came back the next day for touch-ups. I highly recommend him.

Charlie in sales was very responsive prior to and during our decision to use spectrum painting. The crew led by Hector was very professional in there approach. They started on a Monday and finished on Thursday of the same week. While they were painting they were very responsive to my requests and made some worthwhile suggestions. Before they completed the job they did a walk through and fixed any minor problems to my satisfaction. I would recommend them to others and would be open to using them in the future.

Power wash very thorough. Prep was also thorough, sanded every place where paint was chipping or cracking.

The work came out great and Rudy went above and beyond. He was very detailed and the work was neat and clean. Extremely impressed with the work he did and I would recommended Rudy to anyone that is looking to have painting work done.
