+ -1 moreWe decided to paint the kids room as a winter project. After reading the reviews for spectrum painting we decided to have them come over for an estimate. They were able to send someone to my house to look at the rooms the next day and he could not have been more helpful. Charlie was very attentive to our needs and concerns. I had a bad experience with a painter in the past who quoted a low price and when we hired them they wanted extra money for things i thought would be included. Then they left our house a mess. Charlie explained that they had a price guarantee and a very detailed contract that fully covered any work requested in writing. He seemed very professional and answered all our questions. We hired them and hoped for the best. From the second they arrived i was blown away. I first met with the crew leader who introduced the other painters that would be working in my home for the day. Everyone was very polite and they really seemed to enjoy their work. They did an unbelievable job protecting my furniture and floors. They even brought some cookies for the kids and a treat of the dog. When they were done the rooms looked amazing and they left them much cleaner then they found them. The looks on our kids faces when they saw the colors they picked on the walls was priceless. the crew leader had me look over the work to make sure we were completely satisfied. The total experience was great and the work was unbelievable. if you don't want to take any chances next time you paint give these guys a call.

Everyone on that crew was happy & courteous. There was never any tension between the crew & the supervisor. It was so nice to see that kind of comraderie.

The cost may be a bit higher than others but it is WELL worth it. The amazing Rafael arrived right on time on day one and he and his crew worked tirelessly and got the job done 2 days earlier than predicted. Every crew member worked with professionalism and truly cared about the job that they delivered to the customer. I recommend Spectrum without reservation you will not be dissapointed.

The guy was keen with the estimate. He was very professional. I think there's nothing different that they could have done because they reached out to me, they estimated, they would like to do the job, but I told them it was a little bit higher than I was expecting and I couldn't do. I really liked them, the only problem was I couldn't do. That was the only problem. The price was higher than other companies. They had the worst price. They were extremely responsive. They made appointment, they were on time with me and he explained to me everything they wanna do. They were extremely punctual and they were very professional.

+ -1 moreCould not ask for a better experience. The estimate was provided within 24 hours of me contacting them. The price was reasonable and the quote was very clear on scope of work. When Rafael and his crew arrived, they were courteous, thorough and most importantly professional. They sanded every inch of the deck and painted the deck with skill. They also re-enforced the deck from underneath which has resulted in less shakiness. Would recommend them for any deck job you may have. I plan to use them for further work in my house.

I was pleasantly surprised to meet the owner who showed up the morning of the job to make sure everything was ready to go and see if I had any questions. There was also a lead painter Carlos who confirmed with me all the areas to be done and relayed the information to he team of painters.

+ 1 morePrior to the painting, we cleared all of the rooms of any breakables and other small items. All wall hangings were removed including one TV hung on the wall. We left all of the large furniture in place. After leaving for vacation on Friday, we expected the painting to begin the next day on Saturday. A few days had passed and our neighbor let us know on Monday they had not seen any activity at the house. We reached out to John who let us know some of the previous jobs they had were running behind schedule but he ensured us they would have no problem completing the job before we returned. We were somewhat concerned that it may not be finished in time given the short timeframe. That Friday, one day before returning from vacation, we were told by the project manager that the painting would be complete that evening. We returned from vacation on Saturday morning and arrived to a house that was completely painted! We were extremely satisfied with how everything turned out especially the master bedroom which we chose to paint with a very dark ceiling and neutral walls with white crown molding between the two. We could not be happier with all of the colors we chose and the way the it turned out. There were no major issues; only a few miscellaneous paints drops in the house, some sparkle drips in the garage, and a very small section of a wall that should have been painted a different color. We touched base with the project manager the following Monday who came back that week to correct the paint color as well as remove the paint drops and spackle drips in the garage. In addition to the paint job, we also had a new chandelier for our 2 story foyer but no way to install it. We asked if the paint crew would do it since they were going to be painting the ceiling. They agreed and installed the new chandelier for us as well. Overall, the sales team, including Rich Lauretta and John Mangiafreno, the project manager Rafael, and the design consultant Pam Steinhilber were all very professional and a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: We have a 3800 sq. ft. home that is approximately 16 years old. The large areas had original paint (foyer, kitchen, living room) and several of the bedrooms had been painted over the years by the previous owner. Out of the approximately 14 rooms, we only know the paint color for one room which made touch ups difficult. Not only that, we wanted to put our touch on our new home. Spectrum Painting was highly recommended to us by a close friend who has used them several times. We first talked to Rich Lauretta who described the process and was very helpful over the phone. Shortly thereafter we received a follow up email with paperwork that further described Spectrum’s process; these was very helpful. Then John Mangiafreno came to our house to do a walk through and provide an estimate for the paint job. After receiving the estimate, we decided to add a few more items which were all easily added into the estimate. All estimates were emailed and clearly listed out all requested work along with a description and itemized pricing. In total we requested the following rooms to be painted: laundry room, kitchen, living room, office, powder room, sitting room, 2 story foyer and hall, 2 bedrooms, master bedroom, ceilings in kitchen, living room, and foyer, 3 car garage, shutters on 13 windows, and the front door with 2 sidelights. In addition to the walls being painted all doors, baseboards, window frames, crown molding, and other trim were included. There was minimal spackle work within the house however the garage required tape, spackle and sanding as it had never been painted before. Furthermore, we had a wallpaper border removed and crown molding added in the master bedroom. After we received the estimate, we provided Spectrum with a down payment and they sent an interior designer to consult with us for picking the paint colors. (Benjamin Moore paint.) The consultation required a couple hours but was extremely helpful. The consultant worked with us to color coordinate with other rooms in our house and select new colors as well. The consultant took detailed notes and took to pictures to show the painters. She also left us with all of the paint swatches we chose. We scheduled the painting to be completed during a week that we were going to be on vacation as we figured this would be best for both us and Spectrum.

Ran into problem – difficulty in stripping wall as per from foyer high was down to dry wall. Since repair was extensive resulted in additional cost. But Carlos do an excellent job in repairing the walls.

+ -1 moreRich, the owner, checked in quickly to set a date for my work to take place and was accommodating with my schedule. Oldemar, one of Rich's best painters, came at 8 am and worked tirelessly. He takes a half hour for lunch, if that...but preps & paints each area meticulously and then cleans up just as thoroughly. If there is spackling to do then he'll start in one location and let that dry while moving to the next task. I have painted myself on many occasions and really appreciate when a job is completed efficiently and well...Oldemar does the highest level of work. No short cuts with this company. Additionally I can say that I have felt safe with Spectrum's workers over the many years that I have used them. And you can't put a price on that confidence with your family's safety.
Description of Work: I had major touch ups throughout my house completed over two days. Some light carpentry and prep of trim and then lots of painting touch ups.

He has created a culture of customer satisfaction and will go the extra mile to make his customer happy. This culture is reflected in virtually every one of his employees who are prompt, highly competent, professional, polite. Every job has a team leader onsite to whom the customer can address any questions or concerns. Very re-assuring for the customer. As usual, the team arrived promptly and began work almost immediately. They worked quietly but in earnest to finish the job within the scheduled time frame. The end product was nearly perfect and without doubt the best that deck has seen in the 12 years I've lived in this house. Spectrum is not the least expensive company in this field when measured only by price. But you can be assured that you will get more than your money's worth considering the service and high quality work that results. You will be proud to show off your home. The few extra dollars you might pay will be returned to you many times over.
