Hired this company to replace our pool liner at my home back in April. They promised to have it done by MDW, then tried to switch the install date back to mid June. When we politely told them that's not what we agreed bc we had travel plans for June, John then called me at 9pm in a profanity laced tirade, then hung up. Few days later they reluctantly honored the original install date, but not before explaining they were "doing me us a favor". John sent 2 workers in an unmarked dilapidated van to do the install, no company shirts no company name. After the install we noticed multiple imperfections in the vermiculite bottom his workers installed the liner over without repairing and preparing the bottom. When brought to Johns attn, they told us we were harassing & bullying them... Then the wife Kristin charges the cc without an authorization in complete violation of Consumer law, and then attempted to do a smear campaign on my business which had nothing to do with this transaction on public media, clear defamation law suit . John never once even came to the job site to oversee the job or to do a final inspection of his workers job. Nor did he come to see our grievance about the multiple imperfections under the liner and then charged the cc without authorization. My recommendation as a local business owner of 30yrs with an impeccable reputations is to steer clear of these two. They run a company that is not in compliance with the NJ state Division of Consumer affairs depts Consumer fraud act. These peo ple are completely unst able.

Last year we had a bad experience with the pool company we used. At first we went to another pool service which we found on Angie's List to open our pool for the season. They told us that we needed a new liner, but they don't installed install liners. I asked if they could recommend someone. They recommended ASAP Pools. I called and left a message. John returned my call quickly. He came out with liner samples and went through them with us, advising us on how to get the look we wanted for the best cost. After looking at the pool, he said that we would need new stairs since the stairs were part of the problems. They had been bolted in through the liner. Although he doesn't usually sell stairs, he helped us find different options. As soon as the liner came in, he came out and installed it. The work was wonderful. The last company we used never secured the liner under the holder correctly. He & his crew did. The next day they pinstalled the stairs. He advised us to fill the pool slowly so as to not pull anything too much. He checked back with us daily.
