HACKNEY CONCRETE

I found them on Angie’s List. They did the job but broke a sprinkler line when it was put in. They said that they were going to send someone out but I had to utilize someone from my association to re-crack the sprinkler line. Someone came out today and told me to tell him what the bill was and I feel that they are probably going to charge me for the broken pipe since he did not confirm that he was going to pay for it. Their pricing was fair when compared to the estimates that I had received and they also completed the job quickly that is within one day. I would use them again in the future provided they pay for the damage and I am not billed anything extra for it.

Mr. Hackney was very prompt in getting to me and giving me an estimate. He had a crew over the very next day and quickly removed the old curb dug out the necessary ground, framed out the apron and pour the concrete by noon. One of his men came back after hours to cover the new concrete with a tarb to protect it from the cold that night. I could not have asked for better service.

They were very good and efficient. They went the extra mile and covered things up . The owner came out and made sure I was happy.

A very good experience! Joe Hackney came out the same day that I called and gave me my estimate. We scheduled an appointment for early the next week. The job was perfect and completed as promised. Everything was handled over the phone since this is a second home and I was in Virginia at that time. Joe and his staff are very professional and friendly. I intend to have additional work done in the spring of 2011 and have every intention of using Joe again. It was a pleasure doing business with him.
