Clean Lines Painting & Powerwashing

Very clean - put down lots of tarps on the inside - did not see any paint drops etc. Cleaned up every day before they left. Painters very diligent and "at it" all day. Easy to work with. Quality of crack patching was good. Painting good quality. Would use them again.

I recently asked Clean Lines to power wash and paint my beach house in Ocean City NJ. The siding was a 70s baby blue and we selected a special SW acrylic paint for the job. Great! Just disappointed we would not afford his services and we would have to do the prep, skim coat and painting ourselves. He would have earned every penny he asked for given the state of every inch of the master bath drywall and damage.

If you want a contractor who responds to calls, shows up on schedule, is knowledgable and professional, priced fairly and has a hard working friendly staff, call Cornelios at Clean Lines. I got three estimates for the work done with one being very high and estimates from Clean Lines and another company lower and in the same ballpark. I went with Clean Lines based in part on reviews on Angies List and meeting with Cornelios for his estimate. Powerwashing was done on the first day followed by prep work and priming the next two days. After three days of rain, the painting was completed after two more days of work. Outside of the powerwashing, the work started everyday around 8AM and didn't end until 5-6PM. Very happy with the finished product. As in the name, the lines were clean and the finished coat was done with care. The staff was friendly and courteous and were hard workers. Cornelios was helpful, answering all questions and concerns and performed as I had hoped.

My house had not been power washed for four years so I called Clean Lines based on the excellent reviews and superior service award in Angie's List. The owner, Mr. Cornelios Wilson, promptly emailed me an estimate. I was pleasantly surprised when he also emailed me a copy of his business license and insurance certificate. Power washing a roof is dangerous and it's best to go with an insured professional. (Note: You might save some money with an uninsured "handyman", but if he falls off the roof and is killed, injured, or paralyzed, you will be sued for medical care and lost wages - could be in the millions of $.) Clean Lines came to my house at 8:30 AM (as they promised) and stayed until almost 7 PM. They thoroughly power washed and cleaned my roof and siding. I have a large north-facing two-story house with a porch on three sides with four years of accumulated dirt/mold. I observed that the workers took proper safety precautions by attaching ropes to prevent falls. They power washed slowly and methodically sometimes covering the same area twice which I appreciated. The next day beginning at 8:30 AM they power washed and cleaned my foundation and porch. They finished at 2 PM. The house looked absolutely beautiful after they finished. Clean Lines did everything I requested and there was no need to "keep an eye" on them. Clean Lines honored their estimate and there were no surprise charges. I felt the cost was fair given the size of my house, roof, and porch, and the four years of accumulated dirt/mold. I paid by credit card which they conveniently took over the phone. Mr. Wilson was extremely courteous and responded to my phone calls and emails in a timely matter. I would highly recommend Clean Lines for power washing and will look forward to hiring them again.

Taking the trash out late at night I tripped over a bucket of white paint which wasn't closed properly and it spilled all over on my pavement. I tried to hose it down but made the problem worse and in fact the paint started going over to my neighbor's pavement. I immediately went to Angie's list to find someone to come out and power wash the pavements. I left a message at 11 PM on an answering machine and someone returned the call within minutes and told me they could get there by 7 AM. At 7 AM promptly they were outside started to clean up. They did a beautiful job and my neighbor and I had the cleanest pavements on the block. I highly recommend them and in fact am going to call them to paint my house, which they also do.

I can not express how grateful I am to have found Cornelios! He pricing was reasonable and fair. He takes pride in his work. His crew is friendly very professional quick and we couldn't be happier with the end result. We had originally called Clean Lines to just paint our first floor. But after seeing his work we have had him paint our master bedroom, power wash the outside of our home, pull up our hard wood floors and look forward to having him back in the future. While they were working on our home one of our neighbors came over to see how it was going and hire them to paint a few rooms in their home. They said they have had a lot of people work in their home and Clean Lines is by far the best experience they have ever had. Cornelios is such a pleasant person. So easy to talk to. He was very helpful. Remodeling a home is a lot of work and he really made me feel like I was in good hands and could focus on other things.

My experience with them was very good and they were very good at the painting that they did. They were very clean and cleaned up everything. They were also very professional, accurate and courteous.

House was power washed and the floors of the porches were cleaned and re-stained. The force of the power wash loosened a few boards on the siding which they promptly fixed. Porch columns were also re-painted. All work was performed professionally and completed as estimated.

They were prompt, easy to get along with, and did an excellent job. It was a good experience.

It went fantastic from beginning to end! Cornelios was quick to respond, send me a written estimate and do the job! They showed up early to do the job and stayed all day until it was done. The worker left to do the job was detail oriented and cleaned up when he was done. Cornelios came by afterwards to ensure the job was complete and we were happy. Overall we were extremely happy with how Cornelios does business and would highly recommend him! We are definitely bringing him back next year and may use him for our deck staining too!

I called Cornelios earlier in the week for an estimate. He answered the phone at 8pm and was professional and very nice. He was happy to take my information and offer to come by the following day to give me an estimate. He stayed true to his word, came the following day, and e-mailed me an estimate. The price was cheaper than any other company in the area. We set up a time and his employee came exactly when was agreed upon. The gentleman that came was very nice and completed the work quickly. My house looks amazing and he even pressure washed the concrete on the side of my house/back door area. I will DEFINITELY use this company again and have recommended them to all of my friends and co-workers. I've never dealt with such a nice boss and employees.

Owner is very professional, did a great job helping me pick colors. Crew was prompt, courteous and worked hard. They had a ton of nail pops and cracks to fix, and lots of cracked caulk (probably more than they anticipated). Overall, they did a good job and very quickly, but the speed may have resulted in a few issues. In the last three months since the work was completed, I've noticed a few issues: a nail pop that was fixed broke through again and the entire area that was spackled (a couple inch diameter area) fell off the ceiling (it's going to happen in another area as well), instead of removing cracked caulk along the stairway trim before re-caulking, they caulked over top of it (and it's now separating), the window sill in the kitchen was not sanded, cleaned and primed properly and it's starting to bubble, a couple cracks were not spackled properly as they reappeared within a couple weeks, and both the laundry room and master closet (which were painted white) could use an additional coat on the walls (the corners look like they have two coats while the walls look like only one was applied) With the exception of these issues, the overall finish is smooth and well done in all other areas. These are relatively minor, and I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but after just three months I hate that I have to go back and fix some areas after spending this much money. Even with these issues, I would recommend them. They protected everything really well with drop cloths and cleaned up completely at the end of every day. I did get three estimates. One was $3,500 more (!) and the other was $500 less than Clean Lines.

It became a real problem because Sandy came and according to the gentleman, he lost some of his trucks to the storm. I don't know whether that is true or not but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt because it was pretty bad. He has been very, very poor and unresponsive. I've spoken to him 5 times in the last couple of months. He is always giving me a date on when he is going to finish the work but then I don't hear back from him. He seems sincere but his communication is not good. He should have told me that he was in a bad place instead of stringing me along. It wasn't an emergency type thing so I am thinking about waiting until the spring but I am getting ready to sell the property so I am in a little more of a rush. He came out for the estimate originally and did a quick walkthrough and gave me recommendations for the wash first and then the paint. He was pretty thorough with his explanation so that's why I went with him. He seemed to know what he was talking about. The price seemed fair and I paid him a third up front. He did the power wash and the storm hit right after that so that is where we are sitting now. The estimate process was fine. I’ve paid him $1,400 and if he doesn’t do the rest of the work, then he owes me some money because the power wash was not worth $1,400.

Cornelios Wilson, the owner of the business, responded quickly to my initial call and talked with me in detail about what I needed to have done. He took pictures and careful notes; then he got back to me quickly with a bid. After I accepted his proposal, he started the job promptly. His worker alerted him when there were any problems and he communicated with me immediately by phone so there were no misunderstandings. The painter who did the work on my house is very good at what he does! I was very impressed with Mr. Wilson's attention to detail. He insisted on doing one repair that I might have "let go". This is a very conscientious and professional company. I highly recommend them.

Cornelios was courteous, knowledgable and on-time for all of our appointments. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. He also was very thorough in estimating the work and was the only estimate we recieved that detailed exactly what we wanted. He fit us in his very busy schedule and completed the work ahead of schedule. We were very happy with their work.
