I called Benjamin Franklin and the office staff were a pleasure to deal with, I explained my predictiment and they were very acommadating as an appointment was given the next day. PJ arrived on time and gave me a very fair assessment of the work and price of a new heater. I had an unique quandary and again the office staff was very accomadating as I was given an appointment the next day! My wife had a doctors appt. an hour away from my home so I was very comfortable leaving a key for the tech Shawn to install the new water heater. Upon completetion of the job he called me to inform me he had completed the job. When we arrived home I was pleasantly surprised how clean he had left the work area as well as the rest of the area to enter and leave. The heater is awesome!!! A hearty thank you and appreciation to all the members of the Benjamin Franklin team! I highly recommend this company to all requiring their services!

GET ANTHONY! He is a problem solver he knew just how to solve my unique problem with my toilet installation and it turned out better than we both anticipated or expected. Anthony did not give up he hung in there. He came, he saw, he conquered. He will conquer any issue you might have. I will definitely use him again.

Anthony, came out to survey the project, found the issues . Put in the new gas line . On time, on budget . Went the extra mile I thought. Highly recommended . A Big. 10 !!!

Outstanding service and care for my Mom. The technician arrived a day early, understood and was patient with Mom's hearing problems, and gave her multiple options, all the while keeping in contact with me so I was aware of what was going on and the costs. This is the type of old-school service that more companies should provide! Thank you so much!

Positives -- Great customer service. Next day, non-emergent service appointment (even called and came early). Superior workmanship and professionalism by a technician who completed work. Extremely small project (replaced hot water shut-off valve under the kitchen sink for the dishwasher). No lie--It took all of 8 minutes to complete which was comprised of shutting off the water at the hot water heater, cutting off old valve, installing a new valve, and turning on water at the hot water heater. Negative -- Price!! $49.00 service fee to come out, look at the job and provide an estimate. Many contractors I've dealt with will not add that fee onto the total price of the job if work is authorized and completed right at that time. I've been charged a service fee if I have declined to have work completed altogether or have wanted to wait and get other estimates. That along with the $239.00 to do the minor work that I described above. I get that they are skilled workers and you should expect to pay for professional service. However, I believe that if I wasn't in such a rush to have the work completed right then, and shopped around, I could have found a price that I believed to be fairer then the $288 plus tax for this minor repair.

Completed my job on time and did exactly what needed to be done. Thorough in their explanation of how job would proceed. Very professional, and they knew what they were doing. Good clean up when finished. Very easy to work with Kevin and Anthony.

Price was very high for the work completed- plumber was very friendly but they charge was very high for labor and parts and then they add another fee for coming- watch out!

This was for rental property at the shore. One project I could not handle and that is why I hired them. I asked them to perform one other task while they were there which I know I could have performed in less than 5 minutes - replacing a washer and they wanted to charge another $85.00. Told them to forget it - I would fix the next time I was there.
