Borchert & Son Inc

I am pretty positive Borchert & Son is good, because we've called him back. My husband is satisfied with the price. The fact that we keep calling him back. His quality is good. We have had no problems with the work he has done. We have dealt with him and his father. His father taught him well. We would absolutely use him again.

After the first attempt, the bill was surprisingly high and the sky light leaked more than it did before. After two more attempts it still leaked. They did a horrible job, with big globs of caulk all over the place. Eventually, I cut away the excess caulk and fixed it myself. In the process, there were two occasions in which they did not show up so that we had to reschedule. When it became clear that they were unwilling or unable to fix the problem, they were not willing to refund the money. In summary: expensive, unreliable and incompetent.

During the last week of September, I contacted at least five roofing companies for estimates to have the flat roof over my front porch re-done. I contacted Borchert & Son and left a message with my cell phone number, saying that I needed an estimate for a roofing job. No one ever called me back.

This contractor was recommended to me by two separate individuals. They have been in business in this area for many years and have a good reputation. My experience was positive as well: Mr. Borchert was pleasant and professional, as was the crew, and the new roof and gutters look great. Our final cost was exactly as estimated. There were some unavoidable delays during the job, but none that caused us any inconvenience, and we were always kept informed.

I AM SATISFIED WITH THIS MAN'S WORK. HE IS EFFICIENT, CLEAN, AND EXPLAINS WHAT HAS TO BE DONE AND THEN DOES IT. HE STANDS BY HIS WORK AND THAT IS SOMETHING I DON'T ALWAYS FIND. I TRUST HIM TO DO THE JOB RIGHT. I HAVE HIRED HIM THREE DIFFERENT TIMES.
