Not great communication. Didn't answer or return calls or texts. They called one day out of the blue to come do the job immediately, after I had given up, thinking I had lost my deposit. However, the crew were friendly and worked hard. They did their best considering their bucket trucks were broken, climbing up to "top" my trees. In retrospect I can't help but think they should have shaped my trees rather than merely topped them. Without their buckets they couldn't reach the long branches in the middle range of the trees. Further, their equipment its very lawn and yard unfriendly. They left huge gouges everywhere and I needed to power wash my driveway and deck after they left to remove large quantities of dirt and spilled oil.

Steve at Montgomery Tree Service took my deposit, and is not returning or accepting calls. I should have looked at his reviews first. They are very poor. A common theme seems to be accept money and disappear. Do not use this guy. He's a hack and a thief. If he makes this right I will too, but he has not heard the last of me.

The initial response and punctuality was very good. Tree one was removed and tree two & three were trimmed ... good job. The grinding was to be done shortly thereafter but they did not respond to my many phone calls to schedule. I was forced to hire another tree removal service to do the grinding.

he took the 8 trees down and said he'd come back to finish the stumps. I paid in full when he completed the trees as he said he'd be back soon to finish the stumps. he had a third party do one of the 6 stumps who showed up at my house with no notice. then the remaining 5 he did nothing about for months. only after calling again and again, did he schedule the stumps... he was a no show on the day he was to come as i waited all day for him and was again a no-show on the 2nd day he was to come. never responding to phone calls or texts, and having my $ in hand, he went radio silent and never finished the job. unfortunately his hardworking team of workers work for this guy ... remember people, you get what you pay for. he had the best rate by far and now i know why.
