Far exceeded anything I could imagine. Ken Morton and company and specifically Dave Burns came at the perfect time and did the repair with superb professionalism, customer service that was off the charts and an in depth knowledge of his trade. My repair is now complete, and I will recommend Ken Morton and company to anyone who needs a roofing PROFESSIONAL! I will also use without a doubt and of my own roofing repair/replacement in the future... Hands down the BEST!

Twenty year old roof had a leak. Thinking i needed a new roof, i called Ken Morton and others. Ken Morton was the only one that responded. They were there at the scheduled time to inspect the roof; spotted the defect within minutes; repaired for no charge. Guess who i will call first when i do need a new roof.

Ken and Shannon are great to work with! They are both very very quick to respond. Ken came out to quote the job and promptly repaired it as it was a quick and easy fix while he was inspecting it. I would use them again! Thank you Ken & Shannon!

We asked for estimates from three contractors (all had excellent ratings on Angie's List) and Ken's company was the only one that came to the house to personally discuss our project and to give us the estimate. All of the others were done via email and phone. Although Ken's was not the lowest price (they were all VERY similar), the personal attention combined with their excellent reputation clinched it for us. The project was a little delayed because of the weather, but Ken kept us informed about that and when they were finally able to start, they were here on time and finished on time. They did a great job protecting shrubbery against the house (even built little plywood teepees in a few cases) and were also meticulous in their clean up.

Extensive information provided with estimate. Work was done as promised, on time and for the exact $ amount as proposed. No hidden fees, etc, Put enough crew on the job to complete it in one day. Did the roof in December and it has held up through some pretty serious storms. No missing shingles. Still looks great. Have recommended him to friends. Extremely satisfied.

Hired to do siding, gutters. He did the job but it took way longer than expected. Siding was done okay. Gutters were awful. My biggest complaint was that the gutter issue resulted in permanent staining of my siding by dripping down and over the gutter in select areas around the house where the gutters started. He came out and basically said "F+++ you" Later found out the guy lost big in tax income fraud, under-reporting his income. I guess this is his wife's business now, after some re-organization. Reap what you sow pal.

The materials arrived ahead of the workers so things were ready. The workers and foreman were on time and finished by the end of the day. The foreman was visible and on site all day. (We also had to have a fan put in the attic although we needed an independent electrician wire it). We were very satisfied.

Had roof replaced as it was nearing time for one. Called for a estimate. Dave came out to give estimate. Felt immediately at ease with him. Not pushy, took his time and was completely honest from the get go with us. Was the ONLY roofing company that told us "if we needed to, we could wait another year or two to replace the roof--it did not have to be done this year". I wanted it done anyway as preventative maintenance. Any time I had a question they answered in a timely fashion. Whether by phone or text. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and explained everything in detail. Chuck the foreman was excellent and was there the entire time. I really liked the fact that they cleaned up with a large magnet to get up the nails that were not caught by the tarps, and came back a few days later again to double check with another magnet, as I have children. I did not find one nail from the job! Excellent clean up and care for my house as the work was being done. Took care to watch for my plants in my garden as well! Could not of asked for a better company and team to work on my house!! Will definately refer them out to my friends and family!

I had a minor job I needed done -- similar to some jobs others have reviewed. I called and left a voicemail on 5/2/2016 and never received a return call. Had they at least called back and said they had other commitments, I wouldn't have been happy, but I would have respected it. I can't respect failure to return a phone call. NOT recommended.

The job went as smooth as silk. From scheduling to the delivery of materials to the completion of the project. They arrived on time in force and began methodically. The team was friendly and accommodating throughout the day. I would not for a moment hesitate to call on Ken Morton and team to work on my home.

Contacted Ken Morton & Sons via email and received a response within 2 hours. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate the next day. They arrived on time, provided the estimate and completed the repair the same day. Great service!

The job was performed in an excellent and professional manner from start to finish. Dave, the roofing consultant, spent more time than any other estimator analyzing the roof and its problems (which were photographed so that we understood what needed to be done), explaining how the problems would be addressed, and going over the merits of the GAF roofing materials and process used by Ken Morton and Sons. We were given information about prior roofs completed by the company that enabled us to review the work and the actual appearance and color of the shingles, instead of having to rely on the roofing samples. The materials were delivered the afternoon before the day the job was scheduled. The roofing crew, led by Chuck who is the on-site foreman, arrived exactly on time and started immediately. Chuck was very pleasant and easy to work with. The house and surrounding areas were carefully protected throughout the job and Chuck was always available to help someone safely enter or leave the house. We have a fairly large roof (about 3600 square feet) and the job was completed in one day. The crew spent over an hour cleaning up the property after spending all day on the roof and did an amazing job. Any small remnants that were left were cleaned up the next morning by George, a very polite and thorough individual who carefully surveyed the entire area around the house picking up odd pieces of trash and nails. The job site was left so clean you could not tell whether the roof and been replaced the day before or years ago. The workmanship appears to be excellent. Everything we were told would be done was completed professionally and neatly. The entire crew was professional and courteous. Although the bid we received from Ken Morton and Sons was in the middle of the estimates we received, we are delighted with our choice of contractor and cannot imagine anyone doing a better job. Replacing a roof can be a stressful and difficult process, but Ken Morton and Sons made the process as painless as possible. I would highly recommend that anyone considering the replacement of their roof contact Ken Morton and Sons for an estimate before picking someone else for the job. We are also very happy with GAF HD shingles that were used, which include a transferable warranty should you be planning to sell your house.

I contacted Ken Morton via Angie's list and made an appointment to have my roof looked at. I've procrastinated having my roof replaced and thought I might get by with some repairs, but when Dave Burns came out he told me frankly that I needed a new roof. He said my roof was 26 years old and that for the type of roof that was on, I got more than my money's worth. (I puchased my house 20 years ago). He went up on the roof and took pictures to show me where there were multiple spots which needed more than just a fix-up. He examined my chimney too and said that it too was leaking and needed repair. He provided me with some names as Ken Morton does not do chimneys. He then went over all the details for doing the roof. He gave me a brochure with all the various types and colors of tiles I could select. He also provided an estimate. He advised that the installation would take place in one day and that the work would be guaranteed for as long as I was in the house. The tiles were also under a 50 year warranty from the manufacturer and could be transferred to a new owner if I were to sell the house. I signed the contract that day. Dave put his KEN MORTON & SONS sign in front of my house. I made arrangements with his office to schedule the installation. Installation was to be on a Monday. Delivery of the tiles came on Saturday. The crew showed up on Monday and, in fact, did the installation in one day. They finished the job just before it got dark. No debris anywhere around the house. All old tiles were placed in a dumpster which they brought with them. The dumpster was taken away within a day or two. Clean and efficient and very friendly They only needed access to the inside of my house to install the new ceiling fan. Excellent work. I'd hire them again if I had to. My chimney was also taken care of by Soot Doctor Chimney Service, Richard Hellick, 856-468-3982 (I'm not sure if he's on Angie's list of not). RIchard advised the my chimney needed a new cover. He took the measurements of the chimney and had the top custom made to fit exactly. (My chimney was leaking because the cap that was on there did not fit the chimney and "modification" had to made - in other words it wasn't done right). He too was excellent. That repair was actually done before the roof was put on. I was very happy with both Soot Doctor and Ken Morton. It was a very satisfying feeling to know the work was done right, on time and at a reasonable cost.

Contacted them on Angie's list. Shannon, the owner, replied to my inquiry the same day. She sent out her foreman to take a look, measure, give an estimate and a possible completion date. He was very knowledgeable, personable and gave us great information. After interviewing two other companies we were sure Ken Morton could do the job and we were right. Two standard and one custom skylights were ordered, received, delivered to our home and installed the day after delivery. Shannon stayed in touch with me through the entire process - keeping me calm and explaining what was happening every week. We were very impressed with the turnaround time (3 weeks) and more impressed with the clean up (interior and exterior) and the check up visit a few days later.

I called Ken Morton and he called back. We told him we had rain coming in through the roof. He came out the next day and gave us an estimate on a Friday. He started the following Monday. They got the job done in a couple of hours. The pricing was very good, too. They gave us a discount for being on Angie's List. They guarantee their work. They were very professional.

Dave from Ken Morton Roofing came on the day and time agreed to to inspect and give me an estimate for the repairs. The price he quoted was reasonable and he arranged for someone to come out during the day within a week to do the job. I found Dave to be very personable and professional. He was responsive to my need to have the work done in a timely manner and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and would definitely use them again.

This is the 2nd time I used this company. Ken Morton was responsive in providing an estimate, assisted with the color choice and style for a more appealing appearance of the house and provided rapid service for the installation. The quality of the materials and the warranty are also 1st class. The job supervisor was very professional. He insured I had access to my car, placed wood under the dumpster to protect my driveway, and was safety oriented. As I was in the house during the installation, he gave me his cell # to advise him when I wanted to come out so could make sure the crew stopped working so I would not be hit by any falling debris. The old roof was removed and the new one installed in 1 day! The crew was very professional and worked very h****** a hot and humid Saturday. All the debris was removed from the yard. you would not have known a crew of 9 was every there. The following Monday a supervisor returned to perform a second sweep for nails and insure the dumpster was removed. Both days the crew was on time at 7AM. The new roof has greatly increased the aesthetic appeal of my home. What a great job!

It was excellent. Anderson no longer makes skylights and the size I needed wasn’t available, so he had one custom made for me.
