I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Jon Martin, founder of JRM Enterprises, a home improvement and custom woodworking business. My wife, four children and I have been residents of Pitman, New Jersey since 1996. I am both an active firefighter for Pitman and a member of a local church.
JRM Enterprises is a fairly new business, we started in 2003 and we already have over 100 satisfied clients. A lot of our business is repeat clients. I have been involved in this trade for more than 25 years. I began as a laborer at the age of 14 and have since acquired a variety of knowledge and skills in this industry. I have now branched out on my own and would like to share with you how my business can meet the needs of you and your family.
Whether it is simply a new phone jack, a custom rocking horse that will be cherished for generations, or complete room remodeling you can count on JRM Enterprises to get the job done. Please browse through our web page for a more detailed list of our services or contact us at (609) 280-8786 or email at jon@jrm-enterprises.com. If I do not do it I have a great network of all trades that will. We are all proven and trusted. I will not send anyone that I wouldn't have working in my house. I look forward to doing business with you.
Sincerely,
Jon Martin
Description of Work: He did as he said he would. Was on time to start the job and was there until finished, even though his helper was out ill. Definitely would hire him again, and have recommended him to family and friends.
At our first meeting, Jon came over for measurements and to create a plan. His knowledge of codes and best practices for safety was really helpful during this stage- he was able to shed light on a few concerns we hadn't considered and are very glad we did - such as direct access to the exit through a central hallway instead of putting the door inside a room off said hallway. His eye for design and imagining the finished product was also great, I had a hard time visualizing the concept at first, but the walls and closet placements work perfectly in the rooms. The project started fairly quickly after our first meeting, and once it began Jon was at our house daily. If he had to leave us for a day or two, it was during a time that made sense - such as waiting on town permits when work had to pause anyway. Not only was he with us daily, he was also punctual and stayed until his goal for the day was complete. Every day I came home amazed at how much work was done- and he did everything! He turned our dark basement that was a cement floor and cinderblock walls into 700+ square feet of livable space: a cozy living room, kids' playroom, office, and laundry/storage room. Lastly, we didn't really go over budget by much. There was one split beam that we couldn't control (minimal cost), and then we made an upgrade in our fireplace plan but that was a choice we made, and were very happy with in the long run. Jon was actually really helpful in giving us ideas on where we could cut the budget down to allocate money elsewhere, which was awesome. Overall, Jon is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and has a really good sense of design and finishes. We're thrilled with his work and have already been recommending him to family and friends.

The only drawback to the entire operation was the weather. They did everything they said they would do and any questions we had were answered promptly. There were no hidden costs or extra fees.I would certainly use them again and would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: I had a garage built. They tore down the old garage and built a new one.
