Tony is the best to work with. From day one he listened to my ideas, incorporated them into the design for my renovations and brought my vision to life. He was easy to work with and the end result was perfect! Excellent work and exactly what I wanted. Tony and his team work quickly, always show up on time, go the extra mile, are very respectful and his costs are really reasonable. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again.

Tony did an amazing job on two projects at my house. He replaced my roof, which was perfect and his primary specialty. But then I was taking down a load bearing wall on my first floor and he installed a support beam flawlessly. He even pointed out a flaw in the architects drawing and worked together with him to find a way to resolve it. Tony clearly displayed his immense knowledge on building and construction, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again for any remodeling project in my house. 10 out of 10!

Tony was great to work with. Communicated status on every step of the project. He and his crew were professional and did excellent work including clean-up after. We are very happy with the results and plan to call on Tony again!

Excellent work by Tony and crew. They took off 2 roof layers, removed old turbine vent, replaced roof plywood, re-caulked chimney, replaced pipe vent covers, cut vent holes in front and back soffits, and installed new roof and added ridge vent. They worked fast and efficiently, protecting my property and left it clean of debris. Considering it was 95 degrees it was impressive how well they conducted themselves. I would highly recommend Tony and his crew to anyone considering work on or in their home. R. Davila

My 110 year old slate roof had finally reached the end of its useful life. I was looking for roofing that would be similar in appearance to slate. As a consequence the cost was significant both in terms of material as well as for installation. However, given the time the job took to do properly I would say the price was reasonable. Tony and his folk did the work during the recent heat wave on top of a three story house. They are conscientious, hard working, and precise. They are true craftsmen. In today's age, that is a rare thing. In addition, Tony went well above his responsibilities in a number of respects. I could not ask for a better job. I would hire Tony again for any other work. If this review suggests I was pleased with the job that is an understatement.

Contracted with Tony to remodel our 34-year old bathroom. We were very pleased with the workmanship. Tony helped us step by step through the process of choosing materials and products that would both look good and fit into our budget. He even took the time to accompany us to the home improvement store to assist us in choosing tile, grout color and other products. Tony listened to our ideas and made suggestions of his own to improve the appearance of the remodel. (He suggested removing the original drop ceiling in the shower area to open up the space). He was very careful to insure the new plumbing was tight with no water leaks around pipe fittings and drains before the walls and floor were sealed. He cleaned up daily and used tarps/drop cloths as well as cardboard on hallway floors and stairs to minimize dust and debris. Tony and his highly competent assistant Rob arrived early every day and were true professionals throughout the process. We will definitely use Tony again on future projects.

We had a new roof installed which began to leak after 5 years, we called our original contractor who came out to inspect and never followed up and never returned calls, even though we were willing to pay for the repairs. Tony came out to inspect and identified the issue straight away which was missing flashing in one large section of the roof where it met a dormer. Repairs were completed within a few days and have remained good for the past two years.

Tony is a truly skilled professional and was a pleasure to work with. We originally found him on Angie's List and called him for a small leak in our roof, Even though it was a small job he responded immediately and it was repaired within a couple of days. As a result we asked him for an estimate on renovating our Florida room which we had been talking about doing for several years. He had a number of ideas and suggestions we hadn't even considered and he came back with a fair estimate within a couple of days. He ended up tearing out the old doors, windows, walls, ceiling and virtually everything else. He installed a skylight, framed and sheetrocked the walls and ceilings, installed 2 new doors and 10 new windows, rewired the entire room including recessed lighting, a ceiling fan and an exterior light, installed vinyl siding on the exterior to match the rest of the house, trimmed and painted the interior, installed a beautiful porcelain tile floor, demolished an exterior garden wall around the foundation and added stucco to replace it. Tony was responsive to our requests and questions. He showed up when he said he would and finished the job on schedule and on budget. Tony and his assistant Rob did a great job and I highly recommend them.

Tony is a very honest, trustworthy, and professional guy. His presentation made me feel comfortable from the beginning. There was no pressure and he was accommodating. It’s hard to find a contractor to trust but I think I’ve found one in Tony. He always kept his word. Our roof was in bad shape and Tony gave advice and made necessary adjustments to make sure we care for and maintain the new roof appropriately in the future. He did great work and we will definitely use him for future jobs. There is plenty of work to do!!

Tony Balsamo and his crew did a fantastic job! I give them my highest recommendation and would not hesitate to recommend them strongly to anyone. Tony answers phone calls to his company directly and almost immediately. He handles all the estimates himself and is on the job site doing work with his crew at all times. He is on time and does all the work exactly as he says he will do. He doesn't leave until all of the work is completed to the owner's satisfaction. Tony takes great pride in his work as does his crew. I had a significant roof leak that needed to be repaired quickly. Tony was able to schedule the work for only a few days after the initial visit to do the estimate. Once the old roof was off, it was apparent that there was much more damage and repair that needed to be done and the job was going to take twice the amount of time. Tony was actually supposed to go on vacation and instead postponed his vacation in order to complete the additional work! Through all phases of the work, Tony and his team were a pleasure to deal with. The quality of work was excellent. They cleaned up completely once done and left me all the extra materials (wood, rubber roofing rolls,etc.) neatly placed where I requested. As I stated at the beginning of this review, I give my strongest recommendation to Tony Balsamo Contractors and I am very appreciative of the work he has done for me. In fact I expect to be going back to Tony for additional work in the near future.

We had a leak in our roof. Tony was very busy with other jobs, but 5 days of rain were expected so he fit us in the very next day, even though we were new customers. He arrived promptly, did the repair himself (with one assistant), and even did some additional work that was not anticipated. Great guy, great work. A building inspector relative looked at the photos and said it looked like a clean, professional job and the price was reasonable for the work done.

Great work you would not even know he was here with his worker. Did the work and cleaned up job site took all debris with him.

From the first contact, when Tony actually answered his phone when I called to get a quote, to the final step of the work, it was a pleasant, headache-free process working with Tony. He came within the hour of my call to discuss the project; his quote was very reasonable; he set a date to begin the work a week after I gave him the deposit; he arrived on time, on the day he said he would; he worked alongside his crew; he finished when he said he would; he left the work area completely clean. The job was well-done, the roofs look great and the gutters are functioning well. All in all, a very professional and pleasant experience, and pretty unusual compared to my experience with other contractors. I look forward to working with Tony again on future home projects.

They did an amazing job!! Very punctual, kind, and worked all day to finish the job. He came back the next day to double check everything again which I thought was a nice extra touch. I would highly recommend to anyone!!

Tony did an excellent job on the bathroom remodel. The bathroom was horrible before and now I feel I have my dream bathroom. The work was done on schedule and on budget. My husband and I even had him replace our attic fan and lay additional tile in another room, he was able to complete both tasks while finishing the bathroom. He provided creative solutions for unexpected issues, like the vanity I purchased didn't leave much room for plumbing, he found a way around it. I look forward to hiring him again for our next major project.....the kitchen.

Tony replaced missing shingles, added a ridge cap, cleaned out the gutters, and cut back branches that were overhanging the roof.

The workmanship was excellent. Tony, the contractor and owner of the business, was on the job site every day. He was instrumental in the work because he himself is an expert contractor and highly skilled carpenter. He and his men arrived promptly each morning and cleaned up after each day's work every evening. We will definitely be hiring this company for further renovations in the future. (Next on the list: finishing the basement!) Tony is a man of the highest integrity. He worked with us to agree upon a fair price, especially after he ascertained that, due to severe water damage and rot, every window frame would need to be removed and completely rebuilt. It was a pleasure doing business with Tony. A fair price for an awesome outcome. I now sit in a beautifully renovated, water and air tight home for the holidays. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the exceptional job Tony Balsamo and Sons did. Thank you so very much, Tony!

Called Tony Monday night, told him problem, said he would look at problem on Tuesday and fix unless we needed new flashing. Told me what time he was coming, I was running late, by the time I got there he was just finishing up. Professional, clean, respectful, prompt. Would definitely use again. Thanks Tony and Rob!

We had the most amazing experience with Tony Balsamo's construction team. Tony exceeded all our expectations from start to finish, they were all professional and he helped with every step of the renovation of our house. We meet with multiple contractors and we're glad that we chose Tony Balsamo's construction team. We found someone that we can trust in every aspect of construction projects. He remodeled our bathroom, changed all the windows in the house, fixed roof, put sheet rock in the whole basement, put floor in the basement, tiled the entire sun room, and much much more. We felt lost but Tony was giving us helpful advice and went with us to the store to choose the right materials. Tony's team is very reliable, honest and fairly priced. We highly recommend him. Emailed Tony on Monday, he called back Monday night, came Tues to give estimate. Told us he would come Thursday, came on time, got to work right away, even fixed a loose shingle on the roof. Very nice guys, hard workers! Would absolutely hire them again!

The work was completed in two weeks and looks gorgeous! Tony had two other guys work with him. He is the one with the most experience and directs all the work. They cleaned up after themselves every day. Tony promised I would like his work and it was even better than I expected. While here he also replaced and repaired the roof on our garage.

Tony did it all in half a day while he renovated our bathroom. I was so happy that he could get the job done at such a fair price while the dumpster was already on site for other reno work.
