Excellent service provider, excellent experience, and outstanding customer service. I contacted Bernie at star22home after I dismissed the first contractor I had engaged to complete my master bathroom. He was very responsive, and we immediately scheduled an appointment for a quote. Bernie was very professional and offered great design ideas. Bernie forewarned me that he was 4 weeks out, so it was an unexpected surprise when he informed me that he could do the job earlier than stated as he had an immediate opening in his schedule. I immediately engaged Bernie and he began work on the following Monday. He completed the bathroom by Friday. Each day, Bernie's crew exhibited professionalism, attention to detail, and extreme tidiness. If I didn't see the crew off at the end of the day, I wouldn't have even known they were there (besides the progression of the bathroom remodel). In the end, the bathroom came out exactly as expected. Craftmanship is outstanding. My best contracting experience to date. Do not hesitate to engage Star22Home and Bernie.

When I contacted Bernie he responded quickly and provided a detailed quote, including a number of options I could chose from. Once I made my selection the work began on time and was completed quickly. Bernie and his crew did a complete gut renovation of one bathroom, replacing everything from floor to ceiling, and installed new lighting and painted a second bathroom. They repaired ceiling and wall damage in a bedroom, then stripped the wallpaper and painted the room. They also replaced a leaking valve in my basement and installed a new attic exhaust fan. Bernie closely supervised all of the work and provided excellent design advice, which was both tasteful and cost effective. He quickly dealt with a number of unanticipated problems. His crew worked as cleanly as possible with a minimum of disruption. I was very pleased with all of the work. Bernie is a knowledgeable and responsible professional. He worked hard to get the job done right, to have it look really good, which it did, and to do it for a reasonable cost. I would definitely hire him again.

It was a terrific experience. I have only good to say about this company. Bernie and his crew are wonderful to work with and I would definitely hire him again. Bernie checked everyday to see how things were going and if I had any questions or concerns. His crew showed up everyday at the time expected and worked consistently through the whole day. Bernie and his crew are also very courteous and really cared about the job. They even tolerated my barking dog.

This company did a terrific job and we were extremely pleased. They were courteous, professional, cleaned up well and I could not ask for more. Bernie, the owner, makes himself available at all times. They offer good products and made a big job very easy.

Went great. Team was quick and professional. Only normal issues encountered during the project. A very smooth project. Use a lockbox for your keys so the workers are not depending on on the Bernie to get started. Very happy with the results.

This man is the real deal, and I can't believe I've waited so long to write this review! From start to finish he is the most professional contractor I've ever heard of (not having actually worked with that many). He made an initial appointment the first time I called, showed up, and after we made the decision to hire him we immediately scheduled the job. He had good recommendations for plumbing supplies and had no problem with us choosing the fixtures (his all inclusive price usually accounts for materials, but we had specific things we wanted installed). We bought the tile in two different places and used the plumbing supply company for everything else, which turned out to be problematic for us. Several things we ordered from them showed up late or not at all, meaning we had to scramble to get them to Bernie on time. He sticks to the schedule religiously. We arranged to be away the week he did the renovation, but we stayed the first morning while the demolition happened. In the space of six days they completely renovated the bathroom. Bernie supervised (hard to know how often he was there) two men who work for him, and the work was AMAZING. When we got back the next weekend it was all done, and there was no sign that major construction had taken place in our house. He met us that day to make sure everything worked, and came back a couple of times when it looked as if the tub might be leaking - but it wasn't. He also had his guys come back to install late-arriving towel racks and exchange a light fixture that the supply company had messed up. Overall it was the most amazing and easy renovation experience I've ever heard of, the quality of the work extremely high, and the price just astounding. We are more than happy with the way it turned out, and are still pinching ourselves at how beautiful it is! We get lots of compliments on the installation, too - the style we went with is minimalist/modernist, so attention to detail is key because everything shows, especially in a 60 year old house where everything isn't completely plumb. If we do any other renovations Bernie is the person we will hire. We HIGHLY recommend him and his company.

WORK WAS STARTED ON TIME. IT WAS DONE ON TIME. WORK WAS WELL DONE AND CLEAN UP WAS DONE DAILEY. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THEM AGAIN.

I would like to highly recommend Star 22 Home and its owner Bernie Leano for any remodeling work that needs to be done in your home. We hired Bernie to remodel one bathroom and were so pleased that we hired him to do a second bathroom! From the moment we met Bernie, we were impressed with his knowledge of the latest trends in home design and his expertise in making suggestions based on our individual situation. He suggested we raise the ceilings in the bathrooms to allow for a more open look. He also suggested lighting, ventilation fans and mirrors that would enhance the look and functionality of our bathrooms. The results were fantastic! Both of the bathrooms look bigger, more airy and truly luxurious! Bernie has an extensive selection of materials to select from, which he conveniently displays on his I pad for easy selection. Bernie uses TOP QUALITY name products, such as Kohler, American Standard and Delta so that the end result looks high end. The granite topped vanities he installed in both bathrooms are beautiful! Bernie has a keen eye for color. He has a gallery of past jobs that he can show you to get design ideas. As he has been in business for many years, he is a seasoned professional. Bernie promised us a 5 day completion and in both cases from rip out to finished bathroom, he met that goal. His workmen were polite, efficient and took great care to protect our flooring. The workmen were meticulous in terms of cleaning up at the end of each day. They treated our home as if it was theirs. We were most impressed with the quality of the materials used, all name brand high end products as well as lovely granite on the countertops. Both bathrooms were tastefully painted in colors suggested by Bernie with great results! Bernie?s prices were reasonable. We had several estimates and his was the lowest. We wondered if the low price would mean low quality and this was NOT the case at all! The quality of materials and workmanship were top notch!

It only took five days for them to remodel my bathroom. I had estimates for four times the cost and six times the length of the project. They are very clean and put down protective coatings for the floor. They worked through the rain and left no mess. I am very pleased. They are very responsive and he emailed me back and forth. I have never worked for a better contractor!
