Precision Painting Plus of New Jersey

James and his team from the get go were top notch. JR the project foreman absolutely made sure that every detail small or large was taken care of. They are professional, friendly, and courteous. They arrived on time every day and left the house in adequate condition. They made sure that we could return daily to the house after they were finished. After the job was completed, James returned to oversee the job and had his team return the following day to do some minor touch up. I would definitely recommend and use them again. We had the whole house painted roughly 2500 square feet.

When rep from Precision Painting Plus came to my home I told them I want smooth white walls, trim & celing…skim coat walls/trim the only thing they skim coated was bathroom walls even that didn’t come out that good…but never did bathroom ceiling…or the rest of the home…the walls are clearly not even close to smooth…I am frustrated, my home is not I. Order and I have walks that I paid $3412.00 that look like (explative)…I had no issues with payment just wanted what I asked for instead I wasted $3412.00 that I worked hard to make

I had contacted Precision Plus to have our outdoor deck painted and they were very professional with great customer service and excellent communication throughout the entire project. The project manager (Mina) was organized, efficient and made helpful suggestions regarding timing of painting and color choice. He and his team were a pleasure to work with and the deck came out looking fantastic- much better than I thought would be possible given the age of the deck.

Things started off ok and I had high hopes but everything fell apart about halfway through. Guys were punctual and showed up everyday, were polite so I will give them that. But the work itself is really sloppy. Like, REALLYYYYY bad. The photos speak for themselves. They never sanded down the walls first, there’s runny paint all over, messy streaks, the lines are awful, anywhere they taped & spackled has cracked and come apart, they missed a ton of spots, there’s bubbling EVERYWHERE and huge chunks in a bunch of places. Oh- and they left paint splattered on my brand new hardwood floors. Don’t even get me started on the mess left behind in the house! When I pointed out that I was unhappy halfway through, they pretty much stopped bothering altogether. They had no problem hounding me for payments though. Overall , it was a miserable experience, which kills me since it cost me over $40,000. I would leave 1 star but for the fact that the project manager (Tay) was a nice enough guy. The work is just downright awful though, not at all what I would have expected based on other reviews. My house looks like college fraternity kids with no experience painted it on a weekend, not at all professionally done. I had to pay a fortune for someone else to redo it all and find a way to explain to my husband why. It may cost more to go elsewhere but do it- you get what you pay for! DO NOT USE PRECISION!!!

Estimator quoted 2 days labor and $1700. They spent 3.5 hours altogether and did the worst painting job I've ever seen done by a professional painter. When I called the estimator to recalculate the bill they said NO. You wanted painting, you got painting. No sanding, no spackling, no nothing. If a dead cat had been laying on the floor they would have painted right over it. But it was painted. The recoat time for the paint they used was 4 hours, so they could not possibly have done the job correctly to start with. The estimate was based on labor time which was quoted at 2 days. They worked less than one quarter of that time. But still charged the entire amount. All in all, a crap job and an expensive lesson.

I had there estimator come out last year who was good and he gave me a fair estimate. I had to postpone the project due to covid. By the time I was ready to move forward they sent a new estimator who tripled the price on one of my projects while lowering the level of quality. Also they did these changes after I gave them a 100.00 deposit which they refuse to reimburse

Our experience with James and precious painting was extremely good. James and his entire team took the complete ownership of the project and executed really well. James followed up with us every single day and ensured that the team was arriving on time and stayed focused on deliverables. James was very knowledgeable and shared some tips with us in terms of paint & trim selection which we found very invaluable based on our walls conditions. We are extremely happy with the results and will be reaching out to Precision Painting for exterior paint job now.

Everything went well. Just wish the the walls were a lot smoother. But overall good job. However great professionalism.

Not gonna lie. I was a little afraid of the outcome of this project. I was told from other vendors that stress cracks in the ceiling is no joke and some didn’t even want the job unless they had another painting job in the house. Boy am I glad I went with these guys. Everything was smooth from the quoting, to contract signing, communication about scheduling, promptness, quality of work, and clean up. Highly recommend these guys. I will def be using them for future projects.

The painting crew and Project Manager (Jesse) were a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism and efficiency is top notch! Jesse was extremely helpful and assisted with any questions/concerns we had. A few days later after the paint job, Jesse came by the house for a final walkthrough and had a painter touch up certain spots that may have been missed during the initial paint day. He was very thorough with the final walkthrough and caught certain spots that needed a small amount of touch-up paint that I didn’t even know about! Highly recommend their services and looking forward to working with them on future projects in our home!

It was a pleasant, seemless experience from start to finish. They were professional, punctual and neat. They are excellent craftsmen and did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend them.

Everything was perfect. The powerwashing was great, the house looks like new. Once I saw what a good job was done and how the whole house shined, the awnings looked dull so i hired them to paint them. It looks like a completely different house. Will definitely hire again.

We recently hired precision painting plus to paint interior of our new house. Alan and his Painting crew did an excellent work and I am more than satisfied. Fair price and clean work , would definitely call them for any future painting work.

They re-did our main bathroom in about a 110 year old house. It goes without saying that the project was very difficult given the age of the house. Thankfully that didn't deter them. They came, they saw, they conquered. We were provided a great Project Manager who looked over the project and was always available to speak... about parts, timeline, whatever was on our mind etc...
