 + -1 moreI can truly say I highly recommend this moving company for any job BIG or SMALL. Our move was MUCH better than we expected considering the amount of furniture and items that needed to be moved from our Somerset County home to our new home in Monmouth County. Robert was good at estimating the time and did the research to determine whether we needed an extra large truck or 2 large trucks to accommodate the new driveway. Throughout the process Robert & Palmieri Movers were responsible and professional. The crew was prompt on day of move and worked quickly to complete the first day of move. The second day also went well with a few very minor scratches on a few chairs. I had all my pieces placed in the rooms as I wanted and the minor repairs reimbursement was expedited to us by Robert. Thank you.
Description of Work: Palmieri Movers were chosen by my husband and me to move our entire home contents (6 people in our family) with many rooms-4 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, large entertainment room and exercise room in addition to basement storage and shed items. I was tasked with researching and choosing the best moving company which is an overwhelming and tedious job. From the time, Robert from Palmieri Movers came to give us an estimate, I knew that we were in good hands and could trust the move would be done properly. Their estimate was not the least expensive nor the most expensive (but remember you will get what you pay for). Robert and all the Palmieri employees were always great with follow up and assisting me with any of our moving needs.

This company is the real deal. What I also liked they gave us an honest quote and even though we had a few additional items they honored the quote. These guys know how to do business or should I say movers.
Description of Work: The day and time of pickup was accomplished and the delivery was met with complete satisfaction. They even helped to unpack some large items.

Description of Work: I contacted Palmieri Movers for a quote for a general move within New Jersey. I received a quote and then needed to make a change to the move date and sent the request back. The documents received did not reflect the updated date and the second set of documents still did not reflect the new move date. Finally, I received an email with the documents and the updated move date from Jesse Palmieri. On the day of the move, the mover was approximately 45 minutes late. I called Palmieri and Laura indicated she was also trying to contact the driver and he was not responding. When the driver called, he indicated he was still 15 minutes out. For the most part, they packaged the furniture and placed on the truck in an orderly fashion. I had an antique vanity that I explained needed extra care but unfortunately that request was not heeded. The crew consisted of Lee, Steve and Tony, who was the least experienced and it showed in his performance during the move. He needed a lot of direction as to what he needed to do to complete the job. They arrived at my new home and seemed to be in an extreme hurry to get everything into the house. During this time, Tony, smashed my wing chair into the wall and caused a large hole in the wall. Lee took pictures and indicated that my invoice was noted with the damage and it was now up to me to provide an estimate to the mover in order to receive any compensation. I also took pictures. I feel this process is ridiculous since they damaged the wall. In addition, I noticed that my antique vanity was damaged and a large piece of wood was now on the floor and broken off from the vanity. Neither of the movers notified me of this issue and unfortunately I did not notice this until the next day. I had expected a call from Palmieri and to date I have yet to receive any call regarding the damage to the wall and my antique vanity (4 weeks to date). I did call and leave a voicemail and again my call was not returned. I will not recommend this company for any future moves and suggest that Angie's List take them off of their list as a preferred mover. They have no customer focus in that they do not perform as promised and do not fulfill their obligations to contact me to follow up on the damages during the move.

The guys were very friendly and handled all of our items with care. They worked quickly and efficiently. None of our items were damaged or lost during the move. In Florida, they arranged our apartment with our furniture exactly how we asked them to. Their price was fair and they performed the job in a very timely manner. I am extremely happy and satisfied with Palmieri Movers and would definitely use them again for a future move. PS: They also did an amazing job getting all of our extra stuff into a small storage space!!

 + -1 morePalmieri Movers is a professional organization. They kept to their estimate and the crew they sent (Diego, Cory and Orlando) were strong, hard-working, careful and polite. There was no damage to anything. They were cheerful and upbeat even though I think it was the hottest day of the year. They worked straight through the day with only a 30 minute lunch and two very short breaks. They got it done in one long day. I was so impressed with the crew and everyone who I dealt with at Palmieri Movers.

They were polite and professional. They did a full walk through before and after and even helped me move a mattress which was not coming with us. At the new home, they were able to quickly and efficiently unload our belongings despite havng to navigate around people working in the home. Overall they were top notch and I would definitely recommend them.

They were very careful with everything. They even wrapped some of the furniture to protect it. We met them at our storage unit where they carefully placed our furniture for a future move.  + -1 moreIt went very well. We met the three man crew with the truck at the storage unit. They showed up on time; evaluated the two units and got right to work filling up the truck. They were very careful and took care not to break or lose anything. They even picked up and folded the tarps we laid down in the units to protect our belongings. They left both storage units completely empty allowing us to close them out and avoid paying for another month. After that they arrived at our new house and evaluated the best way to get our furniture and other belongings in, and got to work. They placed everything where we wanted and did not make a mess. They made our move a stress free venture. I will be recommending them to every one I know. They are a great company.

 + -1 morePalmieri was fantastic from the start to the finish. This was our first time moving and feared all the horror stories regarding movers. Palmieri locked in their number and stuck to it - no surprise charges. They came at the time promised and the guys loading did an amazing job. Loaded the whole house in about 4 hours and were courtious and professional throughout. In fact I was moving furniture out of the house to donate ( not part of the move) and they kept offering to help. Mario, the driver, kept me informed throughout the move on a date and time of delivery. They worked around my schedule and arrived within an hour of the delivery time - pretty good for a move from NJ to Florida! Guys unloading were just as good as the loafers. In fact some of them were the same who loaded. Had only one broken item and they didn't try to give any excuses. Just said to notify them. When I called Palmieri later they gave me no hassles.. Just a great company providing honest and professional service. I wouldn't consider anyone else for a move.
