This is an excellent company to deal with from start to finish. From obtaining an estimate on the phone, to the job being complete, everything went very smoothly. The men who did the moving were friendly and professional. We had some Ikea desks that were terrible to take down, but they did it. They were very fast and careful with all the furniture and boxes. They couldn't have been more helpful and efficient.

We had packed everything and they helped in moving it. We did not take everything but whatever we did, they moved it without any damage. They were very professional and friendly.

Summary: The movers who do the actual moving and heavy lifting for both the move out and move in were hard working, efficient and professional. However, I did have some billing questions which were addressed and resolved by the owner

This was my best moving experience to date. They were extremely polite, professional, punctual, responsive and they even charged us LESS than the estimate. I have been ripped off or treated unprofessionally by many movers and was basically resigned to the fact that it's unavoidable---especially in the NY/NJ area. With Palmieri I felt like I wasn't in NJ anymore. They were NICE people who did a great job. I highly recommend them.

The workers are nice and patient. The price I quoted is good compared to another company. What I do not like is they chat too much and took several break in the middle. It took them about 4 hours but actually can be done in 3.5 hours based on my observation.

It was the most stress free move we've ever experienced. And the cost of the move was more than reasonable and actually less than originally quoted on both moves.

I had called about 6-7 local companies for verbal estimates on the job, which ran from $350-500. Palmieri was very quick with their response, and thorough with the questions they asked me to ascertain how many men they would need for the job. It was determined that due to the weight and location of the armoire, three men would be needed. I scheduled them based on their promptness and the verbal estimate I received, and was not disappointed. They gave me a written estimate of the job when they arrived, which differed by an acceptable small amount from the verbal one, due to a turn on the stairs they would need to make with the piece to get it down to the first floor. This was a job needing a quick turnaround time, and they accomplished it. The piece arrived at my house blemish free, and the crew did a great job getting it into the space at my home. I highly recommend them, and will be using their services again in the future.

We had used this company a total of four times over the past fifteen years. Time and time again, they consistently proved to be conscientious, careful, responsible, punctual, courteous, and professional. The latest move, a representative came over to give us a quote, as always. On the day of the move, they arrived punctually. Their truck was spotless. The team of three pre-wrapped every single item--from the couches, tables, desk, chairs, TV, etc., right down to each glass shelf that they carefully removed from the entertainment unit. They maneuvered the upright piano through the narrow turn in our steep staircase with great precision. When we ran out of time and had to turn the key over, they were able to move several extra items that we hadn't planned on having them move. Throughout the whole thing, they were efficient and courteous and always careful with all of our items. Despite the job taking longer than any of us anticipated, and despite us giving them extra items to move (due to complications outside of our control), they still came in around the quoted price. Will definitely hire again.

The movers provided an estimate based on a faxed inventory and then charged LESS than they estimated when the move was completed. The movers were efficient, courteous, and careful. The move was completed quickly and professionally with no damage to even highly breakable items (e.g., pole lamps). They are not perhaps expert in piano moving, but did a good job with that as well. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

The movers were fast and took the necessary steps to protect our furniture. They were professional and very accomodating. Everything arrived at our new home safe and they help to make sure we were pleased with the placement of our furniture.

I joined Angie's List specifically because I wanted to find a reputable mover. I am happy that I found Palmieri. Everyone I spoke with at the office was very friendly and professional. They gave me an estimate, and it was by no means the cheapest estimate I got. However, after reading their reviews and knowing that the company was local to me and experienced with this immediate area, I decided they would offer the best value. They called to confirm when they said they would, and arrived right on time on moving day. The three men, Dave, Chris, and Lou, who showed up were professional, efficient, and courteous. They asked me questions and took the time to find out what I wanted before just picking things up and moving them. They helped me to move things around in my new place so they were where I wanted them. I had never used a moving company before because I thought it would be too expensive, and I have to say that this experience with Palmieri was well worth the money! If I move again, I will definitely use them and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Great people, great value, great experience overall. Highly recommended.

They were fast and careful with my furniture and boxes. The only thing I would have asked to have done differently was that my mattress be wrapped; they just put it in the truck bed and it got a little dirty, but they were friendly and efficient.

The movers arrived on time. They were respectful. They never stopped working--this is different from other movers I've used. My dining room table was slightly nicked in the process and they paid a restoration company to repair it. They were very efficient and thorough. I would definitely refer friends to them.

I have used them a lot and nothing was broken. They are great. I call in advance because they can be a little harder to schedule. We moved all of the small stuff and they were great with the rest. They were reliable and hard working. They were able to get everything done in a short amount of time as well.
