The movers were very punctual and professional. There were 6 guys that came out and worked all day to help me move.

They were on time. The move went exactly as scheduled to do and it went smoothly. I had no damage to my furniture. They even helped me with the place of the furniture and have a good eye of where items should go. The service was great. I feel like I made a really great choice and I highly recommend them.

I had to move my 86 year old mother from NYC to a house down the block. As can be guessed there was a lot of apprehension. Worrying if everything would go smoothly and in a timely manner. I really wanted to be able to set the house up quickly. The 3 gentlemen who showed up were efficient, neat, and on time. They clearly pointed out any furniture imperfections before the move. They took extra care with my mom's stuff and were really friendly and congenial. I have always considered moving a terrifying experience but no longer. Within 6 hours they moved a 5 room apt on the 4th floor to a 3 story house 24 miles away in NJ. It was fabulous willalways use this company for any future move plus I thought the price was very reasonable.

Everything went extremely well. Jimmy, Jody and Nelson from Palmieri Movers were punctual arriving at the agreed upon time to perform the move. They carefully and professionally packed and loaded all of our household and furniture items and transported them to our new location first unloading the prescribed items at the condo and then the remaining items into the storage unit. They did an excellent job of loading the items carefully and precisely into the storage unit to maximize space utilization. They really knew what they were doing and the entire process was very efficient and all items arrived intact with no damage. It turned out to be an excellent experience.

I would highly recommend this company. Moving is a very stressful experience, and this company, and all the guys, were all professional, pleasant, easy going and hard working, that they made the experience tolerable. Everything was wrapped, padded, well cared for, and everything arrived in good fashion. I had to change the move in date, and it was no problem, thank goodness. Six guys tended to all my belongings on both ends of the move. I couldn't have been more pleased.

#1. Very professional and very careful with everything. No slacking off, guys were working quickly and efficiently from the time they arrived. #2. Final charges actually came in UNDER the estimate - when does that ever happen? Granted, part of that was because we moved a lot of the small stuff ourselves in the days before the big move, but still - I've never heard of a moving company coming in under the low end of the estimate, ever. I would use these guys anytime, anywhere, no question, if I ever have to move again. Which I don't plan to, so I figure I should at least send them a positive review. Only dinged them on punctuality because they arrived about 40 minutes late, BUT they did call ahead before their scheduled arrival time to let me know they'd be late. No big deal.

It couldn't have gone better. We needed to arrange service the day after I called for an estimate, and it had to be timed fairly precisely to minimize the labor cost while having to utilize the freight elevator in the apartment during the 3-hour window we had reserved. Robert gave us an excellent estimate, and even trimmed it to provide us with an extra mover at a minimum cost. The 3 movers arrived exactly when promised, worked quickly and efficiently, and completed the move in 2 hours from the time they arrived at the storage facility. The cost was exactly what was quoted, their very reasonable minimum. Everything about the experience was first-rate. I highly recommend Palmieri Moving and would certainly use them again.

Came on time, navigated the thirty plus steps up the hill to our front door, packed and carried everything with care, speed and efficiency including a grandmother clock. Came in under estimate. We're in love! they are great!

As it turned out, 4 rolled-up items were lost in the course of the move, and we are not sure how it happened. I had purchased insurance from them for the move, and I obtained estimates on ebay for the value of the items. I had chosen a deductible of $500 - they reimbursed me for the amount over the deductible without any wrangling. So, even though I lost some items that I miss, the way it was handled didn't diminish my confidence in their professionalism.

This was by far the best moving experience we have had. Palmieri Movers were responsive, prompt, courteous, careful, and responsive. They paid attention to details, cared for our valuables, took care not to damage either house, and put everything where we wanted it in the new house. The estimate was accurate almost to the $ and they want above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. We could not have asked for more!

Palmieri Movers were great and a pleasure to deal with. The estimate they gave was accurate and the team was terrific. They were all very polite and professional and they went the extra mile for us. If they saw me pick up a box, they would stop me and say that's what they were there for. They moved furniture within the room after I changed my mind about where it should go. Nothing was damaged or lost. I would recommend them without hesitation. These guys are pros!

I used Palmieri for an in-town move of a fairly large residence. I must say that I was extremely pleased with all facets of this company and it's employees. From their scheduler Robert, to the estimate from Vick to Mike and his excellent crew, they were all friendly, responsive, professional and courteous. The time estimate o f 10 hours was spot on. We had our house completely prepared for the move....all boxes staged on first floor and garage....all boxes labeled...only furniture in rooms, etc. When the movers arrived, they were very pleased to see our preparedness. It made the move smooth and seamless. All movers were friendly and were more than willing to move pieces into any position we wanted. It poured rain all day of the move and not one mover complained or showed any signs of "rushing". They took all necessary safety precautions and did not damage any walls or furniture. They gladly accepted the Angie's List but just requested that since we had the coupon that we pay by check instead of Credit card. I completely understood that as I know what credit fees for businesses can be. I highly recommend this company.

Not as simple as one may think as the desk had to go up though a floor cut out that we have in our family room and not up the stairs and through a narrow doorway. the movers had the expertise to naygate the desk upstairs without any damage. however they had trouble putting the floor section back in place so it actually sticks out a bit-I need to get a general contractor to come in and fix this so its going to cost me. to be fair these guys are movers and not contractors and they have never done a job like this-the wooden floor section must have also expanded due to summer as we have not openend this for over 3 years. overall they did a great job and did not charge me anything extra despite trying their best to put the floor back properly so I am taking nothng away from them. they were a bit late though as i expected them at 9am bu showed up at around 9:45am.

The movers did an excellent job! They worked hard from start to finish andfinished in less time than was estimated. Very highly recommended!

Outstanding move by Palmieri. We hired them to move our larger household pieces (moved boxes ourselves) and the pieces of our swingset. Could not have been more pleased. From the estimate to the crew attitude to the TLC for my cherished antiques....it was first class service. They 100% blanket wrapped all casegoods and celo wrapped my sofas. We moved in the hottest day of the summer (+100 degrees) and they could not have had a better attitude and kept the pace up all day long. Several times during the day different crew members asked us if we were happy and if all was so far so good. They even offered to take my groceries out of my car for me! At the end of the day they said they would not leave until we were happy with where every piece was located in the room. We were totally stressed about the heat, but this team made us forget that it was an issue. They were so under control that I was able to spend time cleaning up the old house when they were loading the truck. I would recommend them to ANYONE. Have already bragged about them to my realtor and any work colleague who will listen.

We removed furniture from my father's home, including some very heavy and very delicate items. We dropped off a few items at a relative's home, picked up some additional items on the way to my home, dropped off most of the items at my home, picked up additional items there and took what was left to storage for a future delivery to an additional location out of state. As you can see, this was a complicated job and it was all accomplished in well under a full day with nothing damaged and everything carefully wrapped and padded. This is by far, the best experience I've ever had with a mover. I selected them from Angies List, and so far, all of my Angies List contractors have been winners. Their quote seemed a bit low compared to others I got, and in the end, they were a few hundred dollars off, but well within the range of others. And in their defense, they estimated based on my description, not on a visit. And to top it off, the move was on a Saturday. I can't say enough good about these guys. They made it look easy (but it was far from easy) and there wasn't a dent, scratch or chip to be found. I would totally recommend them without any reservation.

They were very professional. They were very good about getting it downstairs, setting it up, and putting it where I needed it. It was a specialty item that could be a bit of a problem. I will be calling them back to come and do some other things which would include moving some display cabinets.

Awesome experience! They were constantly in contact with us leading up to the move date and when I had to cancel and reschedule, they were very understanding! The move was flawless. Moving guys were friendly, fast and careful. I highly recommend them.

The crew from Palmieri Movers was excellent. We didn't get a personal recommendation; we were only going by reviews on Angie's List. But once again, Angie's List reviewers came through. For our estimate, Palmieri sent someone to our place to get an accurate assessment of what the job would entail. The price was very competitive compared to others we received estimates from. On the day of the move, Palmieri sent 5 crew members instead of 4 but they were quick to note that the extra man would shorten the move time without changing the cost to move. The crew showed up a few minutes early and got right to work. While they worked quickly, they were also very careful. They wrapped all of the furniture and fragile items in shrink wrap or blankets. When they weren't sure of something, they asked us questions, like whether furniture might be able to come apart or about working with the flat screen TV base. They were also careful to provide us with hardware for any furniture that they disassembled. All in all I was amazed with their efficiency in moving everything out. Three flights of stairs are not fun on moving day. At the house, they put down mats into the entranceways and were not shy when it came to asking where things should go (we didn't have the best labeling system in place). There were a few things that the crew went above and beyond for. First, our box spring couldn't fit up our stairs. Instead of trying to wedge it in and risk ruining the box spring, wall, or both, the crew discussed options with us before we decided that sawing the box spring and folding it was our best choice. So they actually did the work to carefully saw it and move it up the stairs. We were also having a tough time deciding where several pieces of furniture would go, and they helped us move a few things multiple times before we found the right spot. When we thought they were all done, I was surprised to find them helping move some of our items into the attic despite that not being part of the contract. And the cost still came in at what was estimated. For me, hiring the right movers was very important. These are complete strangers who you are trusting with all of your possessions. Thankfully, throughout the day, the crew from Palmieri felt more like friends or neighbors who lent an extremely efficient hand in helping us move.

They showed up with 2 trucks and 6 people as promised. All 6 were extremely courteous, strong, and efficient. They completed the move in the rain in less than 8 hours. They were mindful of our floors and carpets. Overall, they were great. Would recommend them to any of our friends.

In a word, they were wonderful. They sent two trucks so the move could be expedited since some of the furniture was going one place and the rest of it some place else. Steve, who gave us the estimate, was on the job the entire time supervising the move. All of the workers were incredibly polite and professional. They were also long term employees so they knew how to do the job correctly. Everything was well taken care of during the move and the placement of the furniture in our new house. We had already had a new sectional delivered to the house and the guys were very willing to move it around so it looked good in the room. Before they left, they asked if we were sure that everything was where we wanted it. If not, they would change it before they left. My son plans to use them when he moves his stuff out of storage into his new apartment. We will definitely use them again when we make our final move -- to Florida. Their prices were very competitive with the other companies we got estimates from. This is a 30 year old family owned business. I can see why they have been in business for so long. They are terrific.

Excellent service. I called for an estimate and they were actually able to come move the cabinet within 1 hour. The guys were prompt, professional, and friendly. The cabinet was well wrapped and secured for travel. It arrived safely and was set up in my new house without any damage. I received a receipt matching the verbal estimate upon completion of work.

I couldn't have asked for a more responsible crew both times. The wrapped everything that needed to be wrapped. They took down the standards that hold up the bookshelves, and re-installed them. They placed everything precisely, and made sure I was satisfied with each placement.
