Mike answered all my questions, whether I called or emailed him. Often times, he would repeat all his telephone answers via email, because he understood that I was juggling many different things besides the move. The guys and the truck showed up on time, they were cheerful, efficient and eager to accommodate my last minute panic moments. The next day, they repeated their performance in Buffalo, NY. I'd recommend them to anyone, anytime. No questions asked.

Accommodated me on short notice, everything was on time and professional. All items arrived at my new apt undamaged. Movers were quick, professional, and friendly. HIGHLY recommend, great service all around.

I cannot say enough how great this company was. With all of the horror stories you hear about movers, you don't have to worry about this one. Extremely prompt and courteous service and very reasonable prices.

This is my second move with Palmieri. The first was a year an a half ago which was a four stop move clearing out one house, picking up other items at two other locations, a partial load out at my house and the rest to their storage facility. That move went flawlessly. This move went even smoother. We exchanged some items I had at home for items they had in storage and proceeded into NYC. They made excellent time (their truck route took only 15 minutes longer than my direct car route). They navigated my building's "smallish" freight elevator with ease and juggled some big and heavy furniture pieces through construction, the aforementioned elevator, and tight halls. All without a scratch. Plus they are friendly and helpful and came in on the low end of their estimate. Moving is no fun but these guys make it look like it is.

Estimate was timely and pain free. Team of 3 came to pack our 3 bedroom townhouse on a Thursday, which was a lifesaver since my wife was pregnant at the time. Team was very professional and worked quickly. Team of 3 came back on Saturday for the actual move. Names were Jimmy, Jody and Justin. 2 of the 3 were part of the initial packing team. The place we were moving from was a duplex townhouse on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The house we moved into had a steep driveway and was a 2 story house. There were lots of stairs but the guys remained pleasant and professional throughout. They even engaged our 4 year old & he had fun during the move as well. 2nd day of move was about 13 hours. They took care of our stuff and there were no damages. Overall, this was the best all around moving experience we've had. It wasnt the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

They did a good job, they were on time, and they were very caring with our funiture.

They are really really accommodating, which is what impressed me. They did a good job. They were wonderful. They were very professional. They did their job. I have no quarrels with them. I would recommend them. I would definitely use them again.

I emailed the information about my move on Thursday. It wasn't until my 3rd call -- on Monday, July 2 -- that I got an estimate. I was promised a job on July 5 and we agreed on the details and the time. I cancelled another mover who did not promise the same level of service but could meet the required schedule. I spent $45 on parking permits for July 5 so the they wouldn't get ticketed for the move. Then they left a message on my cell phone at 7:15 PM Monday to tell me they couldn't make July 5 after all -- after every other mover had shut down for the day. Now I have to scramble to get my original guy back again, or find someone else for that day.

The team deployed by Palmieri Movers was truly exceptional.Every member of the team was punctual, professional, friendly and EXTREMELY careful. I really could not have had a better experience. They ended up needing to work beyond the quoted time, but always hussled and still honored the phone quoted price.To boot, this level of professionalism occurred on a day where the heat was in the high 90's! I cannot give a positive enough review. I will use them at every opportunity.

The start was a bit shaky. The appointment to get the estimate was cancelled two times. Eventually they came, and gave us a written estimate quickly. A move date was set. They showed up a bit early (okay for us, but they had to wait a while for us to get to the office). As always, the people were very polite, quiet, professional and quick. Four offices of furniture, couches, chairs etc were packed and loaded onto their truck in less than an hour. Unloading went just as smoothly, and they were very patient with the "let's move that heavy sofa over there, no, let's try it over there" stuff. A few things suffered in the process: a broken picture, cracked lamp. But, these things happen in every move, and it wasn't a big deal. All in all, a good experience - we've used Palmieri for over 20 years, and have always been happy with their work.

They were excellent. They were punctual, professional, clean, and had reasonable pricing. We didn't have a lot to move so they were able to stay within our budget. It was a positive experience.

head Never completed job. Got late into the night and they left promising to return on an off or slow day. Men at the office were extremely rude and unprofessional when I called to get them to return. They tried to be intimidating. Decided to get another mover to complete what Palmieri were supposed to and had promised. The mover (Super Movers) who stepped in and finished the job was head and shoulders above Palmieri. Bottom line.....Palmieri "flew the coop".

The experience went well. I use them from a recommendation and also from Angie’s List reviews. The staff was really friendly, along with the owner, who was involved with my move. None of my items were broken or damaged.

I was a little surprised that only two (2) movers showed up to move a good deal of heavy furniture, but I was incredibly impressed at the great job these two movers did. The movers were very efficient, hard-working and handled everything professionally from start to finish. They worked non-stop at the apartment without any coffee-breaks and were so careful with the furniture. They took their time wrapping the furniture and everything else in blankets so they would not scratch anything. They provided boxes so I could pack smaller items myself. Glass doors on a large display cabinet were carefully taped shut and tied so nothing would break. After the truck was loaded, the two movers followed me to my home and then worked carefully to unload the contents of the truck into my home. Again, they were extremely careful, hard-working and diligent. They cared for the furniture as if it were their own and everything arrived in excellent condition. When they were finished, they asked me to look on the truck to make sure nothing was left behind. The two men worked five hours straight and I had to pry them away from their work to take a short coffee/bagel break!! Without a doubt, these were the most professional movers I have ever used. I would highly recommend Palmieri Movers to all Angie’s List members. They did a wonderful job which was professional and efficient and I am grateful they were so careful with my furniture. I have moved 4 times in 11 years. Generally moving companies send people who are hostile and unprofessional. This company was so patient with me because I had an issue with the closing date on my house. I cancelled my move twice and they were very understanding. I had to move on a Wednesday in the evening and they were fine with that. The price quoted to me was $800 but the final price was $740. They showed up on time, moved me quickly and professionally and did everything I asked. They treated me with courtesy and had a professional and friendly attitude. If I move again I would use them. These men were the best. They made the move seem so easy. These men were top notch hard working and respectful. Bless them.

I used movers a good number of times in my life and Palmieri's is without a doubt the best ever! We originally thought we would pack ourselves but it got close to moving day and we realized we needed help. The estimate was prompt, competitive and beat all others and yet there was no reduction in service. They custom tailored a plan to meet our needs and budget and executed it the very next week. The best part of Palmieri's was the work team - a young group of men that worked hard and were very pleasant and highly respectful. We heard "Ma'm" and "Sir" constantly and it was all part of the ongoing laughter of the team that worked so hard together. This is a truly professional team that was a pleasure to have in both of our homes. They reduced the moving stress tremendously.

It was a good experience. The movers arrived on time and worked very hard for the 5 hours it took them to disassemble furniture, move the pieces, and reassemble at the new location. They were very friendly, professional and helpful. We will need a piano moved in the near future, and will definitely use this company again.

I have a lg 1 br apt and received quotes from several different companies. They came in with the best quote (by a substantial amount, too) that was binding, flat rate with no extra charges. They also work on the weekends so I was able to schedule the move out on Saturday and the move in on Sunday. They arrived on time both days (which seems to be a HUGE deal) and got right to work. They had 5 guys for the move out so it was completed in 2 hrs, which was great since I had a 6 hr drive ahead of me. There were 2 guys for the move in so it took about 3.5 hours. On both days, everyone was professional, friendly, efficient and worked together. Nothing was damaged and I couldn't have asked for the move to go any smoother. Thank you to everyone at Palmieri Movers!

The movers showed up promptly at the time agreed upon, moved the contents of the apartment. The two movers did a very nice job of packing up the furniture / T.V. and appliances (some of which have gone to storage). They were professional and courteous the entire time.

We received an on site estimate within a few days of the request. The movers arrived between 9 and 9:30 AM as scheduled. They even called around 9 AM to let us know of their arrival in about 15 minutes. The loading and unloading was quick and efficient. In addition, the staff was helpful and pleasant the entire time.

I generally don't write bad reviews - or many reviews all - but this experience was terrible. The estimate and initial visit, of course, were great and professional. Moving day was another story. After showing up late for a job based on time and materials (charg eby the hour), only three movers instead of promised four showed up - with a small truck. The third person stayed in the back of truck "organzing" while the two others moved furniture. When it was clear that two hours later they were only halfway done with the move - beyond the estimate of two hours total for moving us out - and had no intention of moving faster. When I called Mr. Palmieir, he was very rude and berated me. He threatened me by saying "Look, if you don't like the service I'll tell my guys to move it back into your old apartment." Knowing full well this was an unlikely option people would choose given the circumstances of an already stresseful situation, this was a calculated, bullying tactic. Instead, I toook him up on his offer. What do you know? In all of 20 minutes they were able to move everything back into the apt. - yes, the third guy in the truck even helped! What a horrible experience.

They were on time,polite, friendly and hard working. There was no damage to the furniture. They offered additional services, such as packing wardrobes. A very positive experience.
