Description of Work: We had some logistical issues due to some work being done at the house. But overall, the service was very good.

Description of Work: Moved the furniture and the packed boxes from a townhouse in Summit to our new house in Whitehouse Station. Assembled the furniture (and a treadmill) and put them in proper place in the new house. | |The crew was professional and worked reasonably fast. They handled the glass table tops and other fragile furniture items well and there was no damage - very different from what we faced when we moved across the country in December last year. They did break a light in the hallway and there were a few nicks on the walls in the new place - they were apologetic and tried to fix them. | |Overall the price and service were reasonable and I would strongly recommend them to others in the area.

Description of Work: Moved an old baby grand piano from a fourth floor apt to my house 50 miles away. No complaints. Great job

Description of Work: Came in on time. They were fast and efficient. No damage to furniture. Nice people and patient as we were a little behind. Office was punctual getting back to us with quotes and estimates. Overall a pleasant experience. Made moving day less stressful.

Description of Work: Did not perform final walk-through items left at old address. Had difficulty scheduling pickup of remaining. Wanted $100 to go to prior address to get the rest of my stuff. Difficult time rescheduling I finally gave up and had to purchase new items.

Description of Work: Great service! The team was very efficient, quick and easy to work with. We had a little hiccup during the move (was not due to anyone's fault) but the company responded to it in a customer centric way and went an extra mile to make sure the move goes as smoothly as possible. They were also competitively priced. I would very highly recommend them to friends, family and all others.

Description of Work: It was a great move. We did not have our packing completed before the guys arrived but they still took everything (even unpacked stuff) and were able to finish the job in the time we were advised in the initial quote. Nothing broke. The guys had a good attitude. They took a break for lunch during the move but we were not billed for that duration. They were organized, professional, courteous , and experienced at doing what they were doing. We did not feel like we were overcharged for anything. Also, getting in touch with their office and making appointments and receiving quotes was a breeze. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: I had to move a large dining table and chairs and a leather sofa from Bernardsville to Mendham. The movers they sent were very professional, called when they were on their way, and were very careful moving the furniture. Knew exactly how to move the furniture without marking the walls, etc., and got the sofa in a tight space easily. I was extremely happy with the experience and would definitely use them again. No surprises, quote was fair and cheaper than a moving company that was closer.

Description of Work: I would recommend this company to everyone. They moved my daughter from Brooklyn back home to Bridgewater and we could not have asked for more honest and friendlier service. It was her first move and I am sure she was nervous. Thank you.

Description of Work: I Initially interviewed 3 different Moving Companies. Then decided on Palmieri Movers as they were local in my area as well as my interaction with Vic Palmieri who discussed the options, costs, etc. This is a Family owned operation which also gave me a better feeling about the whole process. Additionally their prices were better then the other 2 major competitors. For me the Storage Fees were also a consideration as I will be using them for approximately 6 months. The costs varied by Moving Company from $200 - to - $800 per month. Obviously, Palmieri Movers had the best cost for Storage. On Moving Day, 1/4/2012, 3 Trucks pulled up to my home with 6 Movers. As I mentioned before, every worker was either related or good friends with each other. I mention this as there was a great synergy between all of the workers which enaabled a good moving experience. Not only were they professional, but there was also an upbeat atmosphere for the whole moving experience. I couldn't help to notice the care and professionalism as they packed and protected each piece of furniture. In some cases, they packed items better then they were delivered from the original factory. As the day proceeded on, they decided that they needed to call in additional help and did bring in one more Individual to assist in the Moving. They started about 9:00am and completed about 1:00pm which enabled them meet their original price estimate. As they had 3 Trucks and 7 Movers, they were able to divide and conquer. All in all, this was a great experience and I would recommend their services to anyone.

Description of Work: Palmieri perfomed a local move of our 3 bedroom house. They did a great job. They arrived on time, wrapped everything extremely carefully and completed the job with-in the estimate (matched the low end of the estimate). The job took about 9 hours to move us out of the old place and into the new place. Everything arrived in perfect condition. We would definately recommend them and use them again.
