He needed 50% down to order windows, so we gave him $7000 dollars. He had excuse after excuse about not being licensed in our city, family sick, he was sick. To make a long story short, he took our money and ran. We went to New Jersey attorney general for help. We thought they made some progress, but he even bounced the check he send them. If you happen to call Joe for an estimate, please call the police, there is a warrant for his arrest. He never showed up for the court dates to answer the charges.

Despite Joe's good work, he was very flighty. He would call to arrange a time and then not show up until hours later, after I had taken valuable time off work. He also left some details undone and simply stopped returning my phone calls. To the day, I still don't have a door that opens completely without rubbing on the floor tile, a grab bar for the shower, or the toilet paper dispenser installed. These small aggravations have left a sour taste in my mouth. I could not recommend him. I also suspect that he did not pull the necessary permits. I am not familiar with the building/construction process, but I do know that there was no inspection done on the completion of a bathroom that had been gutted. Joe's a very charming guy, but don't let that fool you.

It went very well. We were very pleased with the work. He takes pride in his work, doesn't rush the job, cut corners, or take on additional jobs while he is working on your job. He is dedicated from start to finish. He is very good at making suggestions and is also very neat. He even goes as far as painting to complete the job.
