Hired CT Shirey Contracting to put on a roof ON the Garage (which was fairly sizable) Chuck and his crew ripped the old roof off (which was about 3 layers) fixed boards where they had to and put on a new roof. There was no debris left anywhere when they were finished. They were professional efficient and operated like a well oiled machine. They did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. The end result was fantastic. I would Highly Highly recommend CT Shiery for any and all of your roofing and siding needs

We called about a new roof and the job done was excellent. The owner has unquestionable integrity and awesome communication skills. The workers were all polite and did the best job ever. We will recommend the company to everyone that asks. You will not be disappointed!

This is the third time I've used Chuck and have had great experiences each time. Once for commercial, once for my mothers house and now for my home. Good quality work and always a fair price. Doesn't seem to price gouge you or try to get anything extra at the last minute like most contractors. Honest and quality work, the way it should be. I recommend to everyone.

The price was reasonable. We had several estimates and they gave us a good estimate. They came on time. They finished quickly. We did not have any problem since. They did it on time and they cleaned up when they left. There was nothing for me to do. I thought they did a great job.

Choose elsewhere, particularly if a small job.

Chuck Shirey is the owner. I'm not sure if I found him on Angie's List. I think I looked up on Angie's List and didn't really find anybody in the area. I had a bunch of them and I found this guy. It was a very favorable experience. Right after he finished, I had to replace the chimney on my furnace. When he knew that I was looking at it, he asked to call him back when I was going to get it done so that he could do the flashing. He said that it can be done professionally so that it doesn't leak and stuff. I did that and he came back at no cost to me. He did the flashing and everything. He really stood behind his product. He showed up when he was going to show up and took as long as he said he was going to take. It cost what he said it was going to cost. I would use him again in the future.

I contacted Chuck, the owner, along with several other roofing contractors. Chuck was willing to work up the estimate for three different types of roof and didn't try to steer me toward his choice in roofing, although he was willing to provide his opinion of each type. He showed up on time the scheduled start day, he had his own employees (including his son) and didn't use sub-contractors. The job took exactly one day as he had said it would, the workers cleaned up after themselves, were very professional and did a great job. The job was the exact price we agreed upon and Chuck didn't ask for a cent until we were satisfied with the job. The roof looks great, it has passed inspection by the township and best of all, we've had rain and it absolutely doesn't leak! After the sale, his professionalism continues; if I have questions he answers my calls, he filled out and sent in the warranty information and had the warranty sent directly to my home from the manufacturer. I unexpectedly had a problem with the flue pipe in my furnace, and while Chuck said he doesn't work on them, he asked me to call him when I'm having that fixed so that he can come out and do the flashing around the new chimney so that he can be sure it is done properly and to his high standards! With all of the nightmares one hears about roofing contractors, it's great to know that there is someone like Mr. Shirey out there whom you can trust! If you need a roof in the Toms River, NJ area look no further, this is your guy!
