Technician Louie was very professional and new his job well. Plus the Technician found that I had a leak coming out off my duck from the furnace and replace it quickly.... and the office personnel was very professional too..

My Technician, Louie, did an excellent job, arrived on time, introduced himself, put booties on his shoes when he entered the house (made my wife very happy). Explained what he was doing today and went right to work. I am nosey, so I watched as he worked, (he did not mind) I was impressed with his work, he was thorough and knew what he was doing, as he progressed he explained what he was doing, etc, etc. When he was finished he cleaned up after himself, completed his paperwork and went over it with me. Hopefully he will be the Tech next time I need service.

Everything went great. Our technician, Cecil, was more than professional and answered all our questions without incident. Even when I asked for further clarification, Cecil was very patient with me. The only issue was that they were late and there was no communication until I called them because I was nervous since the office was closing shortly and I hadn't heard anything. Turns out there were some unforeseen circumstances at the appointment before mine which happens and is not a big deal. I just wish I was notified since I was sitting around my house just waiting.

Technician (Jeremy) was very professional and friendly. He introduced himself right away and explained the problem thoroughly. Would highly recommend.

Jeremy took his time and check unit inside and out. After his inspection he talked to me about the operation of the ac and how my unit was affected by mold and mildew and how he could fix it. I asked him to perform a cleaning of my unit. He took care to protect my home and furnishing from the cleaning; taping plastic to protect wall and laying tarps for protection. He was finished when he said he would be and the final bill was lower than the estimate. I was please with his work. Today with the high temps I was perfectly cool just like he said I would be. Very pleased. :)

The service man Cecil did a very professional and they follow a check list. The unit was check and drains were flushed. I was very satisfied with the service man.

One of our central air conditioner units stopped working, and we needed to have it repaired. After researching numerous HVAC companies on Angie?s List, we decided Blue Ridge Heating and Cooling would be a good choice. We were right! They are reliable, dependable, and knowledgeable! Jennifer was very pleasant and professional on the phone, and she scheduled an appointment that was convenient for us on a Monday afternoon. She explained that this was a very common problem and that Cecil would be able to fix it. Cecil called us about a half hour before our scheduled appointment to verify the time. When Cecil arrived in the Blue Ridge van, he was very pleasant and professional. He explained that he would diagnose the problem, fix it, and test it to make sure it is working properly. Cecil found that the problem was the contactor switch on the condensing unit. It had burned out and also burned the wire that feeds it. Before proceeding, he went back to the truck to get an iPad to price the switch. He had us review the price and pre-approve the amount before starting the job to replace it. After he replaced it, he tested the unit to make sure it was drawing the proper amps. Since we were worried that the other unit may have a similar problem and start a fire, we asked if he could quickly check that unit as well. Cecil was nice enough to spend a few minutes checking the amps on the other unit to put our minds at ease. Finally, Cecil had us approve the final amount, and he explained the company?s options for maintenance agreements, if we were interested. We said we would think about it and call back if we wanted to sign an agreement. Cecil was an excellent technician, and we would definitely request him again! We will use Blue Ridge Heating and Cooling in the future when we need HVAC repairs!

We called as the house wasn't cooled; within 1 hour the techs arrived . After a thorough inspection of the attic unit, thermostat and outside condensing unit, the wires which "popped" off outside, were reconnected w/ new wires. techs wore booties covering their shoes and were very conscious of not leaving any tools, dirt, etc in our home or yard. Very professional in dress and demeanor.

Our Service person Denis did a very thorough job of going over the two A/C units, checking both the inside and outside units.

Trust me, I am not one to give an "A" rating if it is not deserved, and this one is totally deserved. We purchased this house in 2013 and it has central air conditioning. We used it with no issues in 2013 and 2014. This year, 2015, of course on the hottest day of the year so far, it stopped working. We had a maintenance contract with Blue Ridge, so we called them and they came out the next day. Turns out we had a leak in the a/c system somewhere. Since I already had a maintenance appointment set up for June 19th, we decided to just add sealant to see if that would resolve the problem. When June 19th came, Cecil came out and checked it out, ran a fluorescent dye through the system and found the leak. We made an appointment for July 2nd to have it repaired. We were told the refrigerant would need to be drained, the repair made, and the refrigerant replaced. Worst case scenario would be $1,250. Cecil came today on time, did the work professionally, cleaned up everything, and managed to save some of the refrigerant so it cost $702 instead of $1,250, which is awesome. Cecil really knows his stuff and is very friendly besides. It puts my mind at ease to know my system is being taken care of by someone with such in-depth knowledge of all things HVAC. It turns out there was another issue with the drain trap being installed incorrectly, so it was basically useless. Cecil repaired that as well. He also noticed some insulation was moved and he put it back for me. I would highly recommend both Cecil and Blue Ridge Heating and Cooling. You can't go wrong with them.

Exemplary in professionalism and customer service A+. Received phone call within ten minutes of tech leaving from home office that part was located and could have work done within the same day. Was 1/2 the price of previous estimate supplied by another Angie list recommendation.

I got them on Angie's List. I am not a happy camper right now. I am still waiting for a response. I signed up for an annual service contract for $130, and I am trying to get some other work done, but we seem to be playing phone tag. I am waiting for an estimate, but the owner still hasn't sent it, and that's for a week now. They were prompt, the tech was polite and professional, and I was happy with him. There may be a disconnect between the office and the customer. I may be being impatient because I want to have the work done. I am looking to having them do a $1000 job.

It went great! Jeremy is great. Every time he has visited our home, he is very professional and thorough and shows great respect. He has never tried to sell us something that we have not needed and always offers a clear explanation of the situation at hand. He showed great concern for our safety and made sure we had prompt service to correct the situation.

Blue Ridge installed and maintains my units. Tech is always on time and well mannered. Office employee customer service is great.

Jeremy was the Technician that came out to service my boiler. He was very professional and knowlegeable of the Weil McLain boiler in my home. He explained everything he was doing to the boiler in detail and graciously answered all of my questions. Blue Ridge has a very good Technician in Jeremy with a very bright future. Jeremy diagnosed the problem of the seized valve and quickly replaced it. This boiler is almost 15 years old and has never really had a complete maintenenace done on it so I signed on for a yearly maintenance contract for $150 which included a complete cleaning and inspection. The maintenance contract also reduces the hourly labor cost from $109 to $79 per hour. During the inspection he showed me that the pressuer relief valve on the boiler was not working properly and needed to be replaced for safety reasons. It was also recommended that the pilot light thermocouple be replaced. All this work was done inside of 2 hours and the boiler is working great! I am completely satisfied with the service provided by Blue Ridge and highly recommend them.

The old unit was removed on day one and went without a hitch. The second day the new unit was installed and tested. On the third day Mike, one of the installers stopped by to go over the entire system with me and instruct me on how to use the new thermostat. Blue Ridge removed all debris, got all the necessary permits and handled all the paperwork including whatever eligible rebates I was entitled to. I wish every aspect of my home remodeling project went this smooth.

Jeremy was there to assess problem, and the following day had the proper parts to bring the furnace up to code and corrected the noise.

Mike, the chief installer and Antonnio did a fantastic job, they were here 2.5 days re-routing the gas and water lines putting the boiler and indirect water heater in place. Very professional people and they worked hard getting the job done. Bill, the owner, should be very proud of his people. Everything is up and running now. Lots of hot water for my shower this morning, what a pleasant change.

As we were away for over a month, today Rob came over to restart the heating unit as it got a bit nippy while we were gone. Thanks Rob, another great job by Blue Ridge.

Workmen were on time, quiet, cleaned up each day, considerate, addressed any concerns patiently, and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. All were knowledgeable. So glad we made the right choice.

They came on time and it happened to be the hottest day of the year to date. The inside of the the house was 92 degrees and they had to work a good part of the day in the ATTIC! I can't imagine the heat up there and they stayed until everything was working properly. Very pleased with the two guys that were here and would recommend the company. UPDATE: Blue Ridge told me I was responsible for the permits. They told me it was $300 and invoiced me. I called the township, and they told me $130 had already been paid and nothing else was due. I'm happy with their service but unhappy with their billing.
