+ -1 moreI wouldn't recommend Deegan to my worst enemy. They did such a terrible job on my roof that they had to come back several times to fix leaks. Finally after my balcony roof leaked into my family room for a second time they decided to wash their hands of us and not fix the already terrible job they did. so now with the holidays approaching I have a couch in my dining room a sectional in my living room tables and TVs everywhere. I have nowhere to put my Christmas tree as of now because not only do I need my roof fixed but I need my family room walls and ceiling gutted and fixed due to the many leaks. What a disrespectful irresponsible and unprofessional company! Shame on them. I will tell everybody I know not to use them, EVER! Their advertisements on their flyers is false advertising as they do not stand by their work. What an inconvenience I've had to put up with using them.

+ 1 moreCalled to set up a gutter cleaning appointment and was given several dates they could come, weather permitting. Told to leave a check on the door. When all dates had passed I called to find I was not in the computer, they said I must have called the brother company, who, when I called, also did not have me in the computer. Snowflakes in both reception areas were annoyed that I was annoyed. I have used these people in the past and have had similar problems, but they came out. This is no longer the case. They have gotten to big for their britches and dont care about the customer any more. I will never use them again for anything. When one can not get past reception without being told you are disrespectful for complaining about their ignorance in the initial stages, one must reconsider the entire company.

+ -1 moreLooked good until it rained. Water was leaking from roof into bedrooms. They came back and repaired it. At least we thought. Ever since then, whenever it rains or snows we never know when it will leak and sure enough it typically does. It never leaked before we had them do our roof. We will not use them again to repair what they did because it is never 100% leak proof.

+ -1 moreContractor arrived on time and finished the roof the same day. The gutter was replaced the next day. The roof looks nice and there have been no leaks. Job was done in fall of 2014 and it is now almost 3 years later.
Description of Work: Remove old shingles and install ice shield, drip edge and new roof shingles. Ridge vents were to be added and original vent holes closed. Some plywood needed replaced due to rot and storm damage. Chimney needed to be re-flashed. Bathroom and kitchen vents to be added. Rear gutter to be replaced.

+ -1 more$650 for 45 minutes of work (two men) is outrageous. I am very surprised they have an 'A' rating on Angie's List.
Description of Work: We had a minor leak that we asked Deegan Bros. to look at. We received an estimate of $650 to put new gaskets around the vent pipes and seal any loose nails. The estimate said it would be completed within one day, so we did no know how long it was expected to take. The actual time spent repairing the roof took only 45 minutes. We have no idea what was done since we cannot access the roof ourselves.

+ 1 moreGreat while they were there I had them repair some faded and broken siding trim pieces. Everything is great.
Description of Work: I had a small leak on the edge of my roof in the 2nd floor master bedroom. I called 5 different roofers for estimates on possible repair and or replacement based on the age. Deegan were the last ones to show up and I was expecting a nightmare. 3 of the other repair places quoted me $11,000 to $18,000 dollars to replace the roofing which seemed excessive for 1-2 days of work. 1 location told me that they could repair or replaced the shingles in that area and save me a great deal temporarily. $1,100. Deegan Showed up and within 10 minutes informed me that for an hour charge of about $125/$130 I think.. he would have someone up there to repair the area and there was no need to replace the roof in any way. it's been raining for 2 months and the ceiling has no sign of a leak. Anyone willing to repair a roof 40 feet in the air for $125.00 and stand behind the work as well as telling me my roof should be good for years to come... That's the kind of business I run and I'm glad they do as well.

Description of Work: Four leaky flanges around vent pipes in the roof needed replacing. Deegan Bros. was the lowest quote, and also the most available to do the work immediately. Deegan was also the only roofing contractor who did not recommend replacing the roof at this time.

After the job was complete, I walked around the house and could not find a single piece of debris or a nail anywhere. They even swept out my entire garage.... + -1 moreCompany was quick to return my call for an estimate, and service was scheduled for a few days later. Team of 2 showed up as scheduled. They seemed very hurried and I didn't feel they did a thorogh job cleaning the gutters. Team used a leaf blower to clear out gutters which blew a mess of stuff onto my new deck. They then leaf blew the deck but the wet stuff made a mess of my deck which I had to then wash down with a hose (which still didn't get it clean to how it was prior to the service). I will have to purchase deck cleaner and wash the deck due to the carelessness of the crew member. One of my downspouts was clogged so the one crew member stood on my deck railing to disconnect my downspout to unclog it. Seems very unprofessional and a lack of respect for people's property. I will look elsewhere the next time I need my gutters cleaned.

+ 0 moreThe quality of their work is poor. All they are interested in is quick get the job done and get paid. The flashing around the Chimney is pulling away from the brick. The trim has huge gaps. They came back to redo the complains, but their fixes are just as bad as the original work. Just don't use them.

+ -1 moreThey didn’t cover the roof property and things got wet and they damaged the side of my home too. They didn’t cover shrubs either. They didn’t put under laymen under the roof and within 5 years the roof started to leak again.

+ -1 moreThey are a larger company. They came out and did the whole roof in one day. An army of guys jumped up there and did all this. They did a good job. After that, we did have a few spots by our chimney that leaked. They did come out and fix it. They had no problem doing that. When I called them, they came right out. When the guys came out to do it, there was a separate crew than who sell you the roof. They weren't the easiest to understand, but we won't get into that.

We thought their might be a leak as someone else had looked at the roof and said there was a problem. (Not a contractor) We were skeptical about that but wanted to be sure. Although the estimator could have told me anything, he told me there was nothing wrong with the roof. It was intact, and the problem we were having, was not related to the roof. VERY honest company. I will definitely use them in the future for my friends and family as well!
