Bob was very responsive and so professional. The customer service was top notch. The team that came to do the installation was respectful and did an incredible job. They finished the job in a day and cleaned up the yard afterwards. Quality of work was great. So very happy with the whole experience and the finished installation looks wonderful.

It was fine, the did it all in one job, i had paving that damaged the agte, they came back and redid the gate.

Overall - very smooth. Our rep, Al, was extremely knowledgeable and had pointed out several obstacles to installation we would need to consider/work around. The obstacles were obvious once he pointed them out, but two other fence installers we got quotes from never brought them up. Al's foresight was a huge factor in us hiring JAN even though they weren't the cheapest (they were middle of the pack). I don't know what it is with fencing companies - they all seem to struggle with responsiveness. In that regard, I did often have to follow up on emails to JAN. That being said, JAN was more responsive than other fencing companies we contacted and based on stories from friends who have used other companies, JAN stands head and shoulders above the rest. There was one small issue with a latch that cropped up a few months after install. Al quickly took care of the problem.

Great! The installation happened exactly as scheduled and was finished in one day. The workmen were very nice and extremely competent.

Price was good They came exactly when they said they would and workmanship was excellent and quick. The most impreesive part was, there was a minor problem and they fixed it immediately without any hassles at all. This problem was not even their fault, but they fixed NO CHARGE.

1) Anthony the sales consultant guided me along the way. The benefit of his experience & insight made the job feasible. Without his input I would have been lost as he instantly understood the difficulties i would have with the neighbors & town if I changed the configuration. 2) The communication with the office particularly Sarah was great as we had to schedule around a belligerent neighbor. 3) The guys who did the job were 1st class all the way. They were professional, friendly & accomodating. JC & Alejandro could not have been better to work with they went above & beyond to make sure everything was just right. I can say this has been the most professional company I have done business with in years. Overall I cannot say enough positive things about the experience.

I sent two messages via angies list and neither message received a response. Very unprofessional. Your loss as my neighbor and I do plan on getting fences for both of our yards.

It went well. The job took two days to complete. Crew came in slightly late the next day due to unforeseen circumstances but call ahead of time informing me they will be late.

Excellent! From the initial phone call thru installation, the team did an outstanding job. They quickly provided us with an initial appointment, options to choose from at a variety of price points, and an installation date that was timely and accurate. The crew was professional and respectful of our home and our pets. Most importantly? The fence itself is beautiful, and looks much more expensive than the cost.

We needed to install a six foot high privacy fence on one side of our property and contacted Bob at Jan Fence. He came out for an estimate and we agreed to go ahead and place the order. The install took less then four hours and the installers were very professional and efficient. You could tell they were very experienced and have done installations many times before. I aided them in getting the exact post positions determined and they took off running and never stopped until the fence was finished. Love the end result! Great company and workers.

At our recently moved-in house, the previous owners had installed a fence (using a different company) that partially encircled the premises. I arranged with Al, the Jan Fence salesman, to complete the fence, repair part of the fence that had fallen, move a gate and re-cemented some posts that were loose. Al was knowledgeable and professional, and promptly sent me a proposal that I agreed to. The crew arrived on time and did an excellent job in all respects. We are pleased with the results and the cost was fair. The office staff were helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend that you contact Jan Fence to install or repair a fence or for any issues relating to fencing.

The installation was very good. My only issue was that they completed the job well after the stated completion date, which is the only reason I didn't give an A.

The folks at Jan Fence did a wonderful job of installing fence around our new patio area and property lines. Their salesman, Jeff was pleasant to work with. He met with me several times to discuss a solution for a unique situation with our fence and various revisions to my original request. They were great, both the pricing and the job they did.They did a good job. I would use them again. My neighbors have used them, most people around here have used them. We saw the same fence, it is a black, metal looking paint fence because some down the street had gotten one from Jan fence. We liked the way it looked. People across the street had another one and they were sorry they didn't have it in black because they liked the way it looked. Another neighbor went and got the same type of fence but I don't know if they used Jan's. They did a great job.

Great experience from the very beginning. Installation took one and a half days, and was 100% complete and perfect. I highly recommend Jan Fence.

Provider showed up exactly as scheduled and completed the job in 2 days (the weather kept the job from being completed in 1 day). The workers that performed the job took away all of the debris when they left. The installation was well done and the fence looks great.

I am very pleased with the process with Jan, start to finish, and the outcome. I want to share that I had received a fence material sample from an Angie's List highly rated competitor and from Jan. Even to my inexperienced eye, the Jan fence material was of better construction, and the snap-in board-to board-connection would appear to be stronger. Jan Fence was more expensive but I could see why. The sales process was smooth overall. The 2 man installation crew, lead by Lupe, was terrific. Lupe, Rob my salesman, and Jan dealt very well with a problem that came up. I had ordered non-standard square lattice instead of the diagonal lattice. When the 1st section of fence was all up and I saw the diagonal lattice, I was upset, but Lupe reacted calmly & professionally, and he contacted the office who took over and resolved the problem. The square lattice was cut and delivered to my house by the salesman Rob during the time the rest of the fence less lattice was installed. I should mention that the contract I received from Jan Fence simply had mentioned Arrowwood (which has diagonal lattice) and did not call out the non-standard square lattice, but I missed it too when I reviewed the contract. Regardless, Jan took care of it. One caveat if you have sloping property and run the fence down along the slope, and choose a fence with lattice: it is impossible to have the lattice squares all completely uniform in size both horizontally and vertically along the posts. There might be a similar issue with diagonal lattice. The installers took great care to make sure that the overall look was satisfactory and it is.

It went EXTREMELY well. We could not be happier. Anthony helped us to design the layout and was there throughout the beginning process to ensure that we were picking exactly what we needed. He was available, even on the weekends, if we had a question or concern. Pricing was competitive. Santiago and crew were AMAZING! They walked through the entire project and worked with our property stakes to ensure we got the most property usage with staying in our property lines. There were some challenges with tree roots and a mailbox and he offered is expertise on how to make the most of our fence. Santiago was available throughout the day for any questions or concerns that we saw as they were going through the process. Some contractors get annoyed at a certain point, but Santiago was a true professional the entire day. Also, this crew went over and beyond to ensure the yard was clean and helped to pick up all debris (organic and materials). I wish all contracting projects went this smoothly and I was able to work with such a team of professionals. I highly recommend Jan Fence, especially Santiago and crew!

The entire process from beginning to end was positive. Bob Silvka came to my home to measure the location of the fence. I had concerns that the location was within my property lines, and Bob helped me determine the property boundaries, and he returned to my home again to confirm the measurements for me. The installation of the fence was scheduled within two weeks, and the installers arrived at my home promptly on the date we selected. The two installers kept me informed on the placement of the fence, which needed to be installed behind several mature shrubs. They also had to install the new fence into an existing fence. They were careful not to disturb any of my existing plants, and they performed the installation of the fence in a very professional manner.

Jan Fence did a beautiful job. I needed a fenced backyard for my dog. The back 25 feet of the property was a mess - huge boulders on one corner, one side sloped down quite a bit and it was used as a dump for leaves - about 3 feet with dead trees and logs. I had one estimate from another company before Jan Fence - and the salesman looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to extend the fence all the way to back of the property. He pretty much whined about how difficult it would be to get around the boulders and trees. I called Jan Fence based on reviews on Angie's List and a recommendation from my realtor. Rob was the salesman that came out and he had no problem seeing how to navigate the boulders and run a reasonably straight line down the slope and through the trees - it was no big deal, just clean up the leaves so they could put in the pipes. I had a landscaper come in and they cleaned it, cut down some trees and removed all the deadfall. The price I got from Jan Fence was better than the other estimate and they could install several weeks earlier - how lucky can you get? The team that came out were professional and the team leader was an old pro and a pleasure to work with. His crew moved some big rocks around and addressed all the places that the dog might attempt to get his head under. The decorative gate at the front of the house came out beautiful. They showed up before 8AM and worked all day long on a very hot day - I think they took a 15 minute lunch break. They cleaned up perfectly, including hosing dirt from the driveway. So very happy I used Jan Fence. Because of them, I have a beautiful big area at the back of my yard that is slightly wooded and of course, my dog's favorite area to run around. I would have lost that nice space if I went with the other company who thought it would be a hassle to fence. y

They do a good. They were so busy and so I called them already and they just never got back to me. I was so angry with that and besides that it's alright.

Absolutely amazing! Can't express enough how happy we are that we chose to work with Jan Fence. Everyone was so patient and supportive of us throughout the whole process. Bob Slivka is fantastic. Bob not only has an eye for what type of fencing worked in our space, he was also always there to answer a question by phone, email or text. Vanessa was great at coordinating the schedules. Wesley, who installed our fence, was so polite and considerate. On the day of the installation one of the fence doors didn't exactly fit so they had it resized the same day. What service! The quality of the installation is obvious. Worth every cent.
