Look no further! Jan fence is the way to go. My husband and I just moved into a new house on a busy road. We wanted a fence put up quickly to keep our dog safe when in the back yard. Our black yard is over an acre so we knew it would be costly. We really didn't want to sacrifice eye appeal and go with a cheaper fence because of the size. We met with another company first who took a look and gave us a quote. She did not bring any brochure / material to show us what kind of fence they have or any information on them in general. Her quote was extremely high which caused us to search elsewhere. I was recommended Jan fence from a friend who said, call AL! We met him that week he showed up on time, with brochures and information. Within a week we had a quote which beat the last company by over 5k. Purchasing process was very simple and we waited about 3 weeks for fence to come in. We set up installation day..workers arrived on time, were polite, and the job was done in under 5 hours. They did not make a mess of our yard, they worked quickly but didn't rush the job, it was dome right. We are very pleased with our fence. They put the posts as close to the ground as possible so our dog can't escape which we thought would be impossible being that yard is on a slant upwards. Overall we as were very happy with the process and would highly recommend their services.

The JAN Fence crew did an excellent job on both aspects of our project. For the front decorative walkway fencing they took great care in measuring setbacks, height leveling on either side of the walkway and leveling the corner and end posts. They paid attention to the details that made a great looking end result. When they were done the new fencing was cleaned and you would never know they were there. The rear yard repair project was done expertly and it is good as new.

We contracted with Jan Fence for a replacement fence in our backyard. We ended up not doing the project for various reasons, but I was very happy with the service we got from the very beginning. Ryan was handling our account and he was extremely professional and responded immediately to any questions or concerns. Their pricing was competitive and they offered many options. I can't speak to the work but I would absolutely hire them if you are considering a fencing company.

We did our homework on fence companies before deciding to hire Jan Fence. From the beginning they were different - incredibly professional, great communication and just clearly a cut above! I was concerned that the estimate would be out of range given the level of service provided - it wasn't! Jan Fence is very competitive and a very well run company. Our service rep Doug Van Dam did an amazing job with our endless revisions to the job - he was patient and responsive and saw the job through - even showing up on installation day to ensure all was correct! The installation crew was equally terrific - professional, easy to communicate with, nothing was too much for them to handle! We did have a bump in the road - which I think is the reason I wanted to leave this review. You get to know the real depth of a company when there is an issue. I could not believe the response we received when we brought up the issue - there seemed to be nothing they wouldn't do to make us happy! Ours was not a huge job either! And we are very happy with our fence and the job they did!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Jan Fence and have passed them along to neighbors and friends as I feel so confident that they will get an amazing product and incredible service! The design person, Bob, was very helpful and responsive. He came by more than once and, when we were ready to get the fence installed, he made sure it happened quickly. On the install date, Santiago and his crew arrived on time and installed the entire fence in one day. They did a terrific job. The fence appears to be high quality and we are very happy wit it.

Great, they were able to come days earlier than original estimate....the guys were very diligent and finished the work in 1 day.

They came out and did a nice job, but I ended up going with another company. They came out, they were on time, and very professional and very consultative. I just decided to go in another direction but they were great.

Good price and delivery and installation on schedule

They came out for a quote. No charge. They were good. They were responsive and gt the quote done quickly. They showed up a little before time. Not quite sure if I will use them yet, I think I'm holding off on the project just a little bit. The timing may not be right, right now.

Very easy to communicate with and work with. We had some scheduling issues and they were very accommodating. Would recommend. Fences are,in general expensive, from what I learned, but price for our job was competitive.

They made it right but it took many visits.

Jan Fence is a top notch company. From start to finish they are worth every penny! There estimator was extremely knowledgeable and the install team was polite and courteous. They understood every detail and installed it like it was there own home. Excellent quality and service. I will use them again and will recommend them to co workers,friend and family.

Salesperson helped to change the layout to cut costs to match my budget. The team showed up when they said they would (that was great!) and did a fabulous job, which wasn't easy because my landscape isn't flat. But they made it work. Team was very courteous and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend Jan Fence to everyone!

went quickly; one small defect in workmanship

The installation went as planned. It looks very nice now, the crew was very professional, they made the install and clean up afterwards all in one day. I can't complain from the quality standpoint everything is excellent and the prices were the best in the area. We had several challenges due to trees and they work around them beautifully. My only constructive feedback on the communication side. Once we signed the contract, the communication was very challenging. It took me sometimes several emails and calls to get a response or a resolution to a question. This dampened the customer experience. Although all was resolved and they accommodated my extra requests, please keep in mind that as a customer my job should not be to chase the company I'm paying for the services.

Overall, the project went very well. Ryan was a pleasure to work with and his crew were punctual and neat. The job got done in the time we were promised. There were a couple of issues at time of inspection, but, one call to Ryan and the matters got taken care of immediately. The fence looks beautiful. Ryan worked with my husband about the details of property line and how to save our shrubs that are right up against the fence ( another company told us we'd have to remove them and just go out and buy new shrubs at our cost! ). I would definitely recommend Jan Fence and use them again in the future if necessary.

Although the ultimate result was what I wanted, it took them a number of times to install the fence correctly> The fence was supposed to be only an inch off of the ground, the extensions on the existing fence were supposed to be down to the ground, and the door had such a large space underneath it that they actually pulled MY landscape rocks and SHOVED them under the door to create the lack of space under it. The extensions were not only too high, but they were installed incorrectly - overlapping the posts instead of between the posts. In addition, there was so much space under the fence I could put my whole foot under it and slide up to my shin. When I called them and e-mailed pictures, my sales person called me up and basically said "I have nothing to say - I don't know why this happened." He went on to state the installer worked for them for years, and he didn't understand why. He was genuinely shocked and said they'd fix it Sunday (it was Friday). So I said okay but not to charge my credit card the final payment until I was happy and he agreed. So early on Sunday my wife and I went outside to look to make sure we caught every issue and to our surprise and dismay, someone from Jan Fence had illegally snuck on to our property earlier and did some half baked repair (shoving dirt into the spaces instead of fixing the post, and trying to install the extensions correctly). Well I was livid to say the least. I called up again and to my salespersons surprise, he had nothing to say. He promised the installer would come back around noon to fix all issues and stay until it's done. Then around 2:30 he showed up with his young daughter. I asked him why it was done wrong, and if it were his house, is that how he'd do it - I got a blank stare and a nod of understanding. I went over all that I wanted fixed and it took him and his daughter hours in the rain, but it eventually was done. No sooner that the guy left did I get a call from my sales person "Is it good now?" "Yes, it's okay." Can we charge your card now?" That's all the concern really felt like. Get it done so we can charge this guy. No further apology, no offer of a discount or anything. That was the last time I heard from them. So I recommend you are home during install (I was away on business and my wife was there, but she didn't know anything about the fence and what was supposed to get done). The quality seems top notch, and I'm happy with the results. But I should have done more homework and checked other companies out too. I don't think I'll use them again, but you can give them a shot if you want...

Often you get can't get someone to come for small jobs. Jan helped me out with my repair and did a wonderful job. The staff was wonderful and I would absolutely recommend them and use them again!

I'm extremely satisfied with Jan Fence and would would work with them again. They are professional, responsive, courteous, and punctual. They perform high quality work and I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone interested in fencing!

Ryan came out and surveyed the property, provided a proposal with various options and pricing within a day. The work was scheduled within 2 weeks of signing the contract, and the work was done in a day. The staff was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process.
