They did a good job, I was happy with the price. The workers were very punctual, nice, very hard workers and cleaned up very well.

The repsonse time was under 24 hours. We picked a plumber in our general area. He arrived with the part needed on his truck and had the job done in under an hour. He was friendly and explained why the previous valve failed. He replaced some copper pipe and the new valve was extremely high quality. He was friendly and answered al my questions without rushing me. This is definitely a keeper for future plumbing work. Plumbing is expensive, but this job was worth every penny.

I called asking for help replacing a valve for a refrigerator water line. in the crawl space under the house. Within 1.5-2 hours of placing the initial call someone was at the house and the job was quickly finished.

The valve was not easy to access. He explained everything that needed to be done. He was here about about an hour. Very courteous.

I called Plumb-Medic in the morning and they had a plumber out to my home the same afternoon. The service was prompt and professional. The source of the leak was identified and an attempt was made to fix it; however, during the course of testing the fix another problem was discovered (a rusted out pan). The final analysis was that some parts in the AC unit itself needed to be replaced and it was recommended that I hire an HVAC expert to perform the repairs. A referral was provided as well. I appreciated Plumb-Medic's honesty and professionalism and will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs.

This install went very well. I was given an estimate on the phone based on my description of the work needed. They let me know approximately how long it would take, along with the cost of the parts needed/requested for the job. Plumb Medic was responsive, communicated well, and did the job in the estimated time frame. I am very pleased with the quality of work.

They were real professional and really nice guys. They showed up to there appointment 15 minutes early.

He was fast and very nice. He asked me if there was anything else I needed in the house, and gave me an estimate for another service. Cleanup and service was great.

His fee was $250.00 less than another plumbing company. I liked that when I came home from work it was just done. I was really pleased with his price and we have never had a problem with his work.

Job appears well done but much more expensive than I would have thought. Got verbal estimate of about $100 on the phone. Wound up costing twice that. $167 in labor for less than an hour's worth of work seems high. Parts were an addiitonal $20 and tax another $12. Got a call from Joe the owner the next day who agreed that the labor for this job was probably overcharged and he said he would issue a refund. Received refund. My compliments to Joe for being conscientious and being a stand-up guy!

The first trip was about $135 and the second trip was $ 150. We bought the toilet and they installed it. The first time, they came out, they explained to us that it was short and they turned off the water. I called them out initially thinking that the hot water tank downstairs, was leaking and I semi-panicked because it was my mom’s house. She had clothes down there and she had told me that was not what it was. Any other plumber would have come out and charged us the same. It turned out that it was my mother’s clothes and since she told me that she didn’t have any clothes down there, I thought that it was the hot water heater. So, the plumber that came out was really great. That is why I definitely went to them the second time because they came out the first time when I actually needed a plumber. The plumber that came out the first time was really lovely. He was very professional. He was very good. He did what he had to do and tried very hard to not have to tell us that we needed a new toilet. However, there was no way around it because the toilet was from the 70’s. He told us what type we should get. I researched it online and got it. It has been great since. When I called them the second time, they came out really, really fast even when it was not an emergency. They came out very fast the first time too. I talked to the owner and every time I called, the owner seemed to answer. He was very, very helpful. When the plumber came the second time, he carried the toilet up and put it in. It took him whatever amount of time but he did a really great job of it. There wasn’t a mess or anything. He took half of the toilet out for us and put it on the corner for him to pick and I think he forgot the other half. He was just a really, really nice person who took his job very seriously. He was very helpful with any questions. Overall, I was really happy. We have had plumbers before and they were not even sure what they were doing was right. So if I were to need one again, I would definitely use Plum-Medic again.

We had a leak in our ceiling. I called on a Sunday and they called back within an hour and came out about an hour later. They initially told me that it would cost $150 to come out but then they did not charge me for that visit. Jason came back the next day and installed the hot water heater today (Monday) and it took them only about two hours. I asked for a written estimate and they came out with one in hand. The exact amount of the estimate was $1028.81 and that is exactly what was charged for everything.(including the initial inspection). I found Plumb-Medic to be outstanding in every sense of the word. they were prompt, professional and very reasonable price wise. I would use them every time and would highly recommend them to anyone who needed a plumber

I called Plumb-Medic about removing 20 feet of unused cast iron drain pipe from my basement. Joe quoted a couple hours work and was able to send two very polite gentlemen (Shawn and Vince) the very next morning. They did a great job. They cut and capped one end with a 4 inch cleanout cap. They cut the other 2 ends flush with the wall and packed with concrete. They removed the extremely heavy pipe and thoroughly cleaned the work area. Shawn and Vince did a great job. They were careful not to damage anything and were even concerned about not letting my dog out. I highly recommend this company.

Called the company to investigate some leaks around the house. Charged me $90 for initial visit to diagnose leaks. Concluded I needed a new toilet and faucet. Bought faucet and toilet from Lowes. Called and scheduled for visit. Service man (Shawn-very pleasant and polite) came as scheduled and replaced faucet in 2 1/2 hours. (I am not a plumber but I have replaced faucets in less time!). After further inquiry, he told me that his labor was billed hourly at $90/hr.I almost convulsed!!! The final cost was $274.50 (He was kind enough to take $40 off from prior service charge and did not charge me tax. The actual cost to replace an $80 Lowes faucet would have exceeded $300!) I asked him not to install the toilet. I have since then contacted another service provider (off Angies List) who has agreed to install both the toilet and an identical faucet for a flat fee of $275. Dos: 1. Shop around. 2. Ask for an estimate BEFORE the work is started. Don'ts Avoid services that charge an hourly rate for standard jobs (like replacing a toilet). Why? Because an inexperienced technician can take his time at your expense. In fact, the longer it takes him to do the same job, the more he gets paid! This method of payment rewards inexperience and incompetence.

The job was very reasonably priced. They went out of their way to accommodate my wishes. He did an excellent job.

The guy I spoke with came out and inspected the leak. However, I never received an estimate. After a week, I called to request the estimate. He said that his tile guy was on vacation and he needed to contact him to get an accurate price. After another 2 weeks, I called back and the tile guy was still on vacation. He suggested that I go with someone else.

Joe answered the phone when I called and arranged to have one of his guys come out to do the sewer drain cleaning the very next morning. The service was done outside via our sewer vent access on our driveway in about an hour (at the most). Everything flows perfectly now. This service was a considerably better value that that from Roto-Rooter who did a bathtub-only drain cleaning for double the price. Look no further than Plumb-Medic for this type of service.

The experience with Plumbmedic was excellent. We had some problems with the unit that was installed (no fault of Plumbmedic) and Joe stuck with the project and dealt with the manufacturer on our behalf and was able to resolve the situation. Sadly, not many contractors would have put forth the time and effort that Joe did in this case. He is a stand-up guy and we recommend him and his crew highly.

This is one of those situations where you recommend a company or service to a friend, and are pleasantly surprised when they exceed your recommendation and expectations. Our neighbors were out of town during the recent hurricane event, and we watched in some degree of horror as the power failed and their sump pumps ceased operation. By the time the power was restored to the neighborhood, they had about 18 inches of water in the basement. We had excellent experience with Plumb Medic in the past, so reached out to them to address the issue before neighbors returned home. Despite what must have been a tremendous number of calls from loss of power and general hurricane flooding, Plumb Medic arrived within two hours and had drainage pumps operational and taking the water down to managable levels. We turned the lead over to the neighbors on the following day, and they dealt directly with Plumb Medic and the resulting mediation. One item of note is that PSE&G had incorrectly concluded that they would need a new hot water heater as a result of damage from the water intrusion, but Plumb Medic fixed the problem in about fifteen minutes and saved them a lot of money and headache. Reviews from the neighbors were glowing, so definitely a company that they would recommend now as well.

I called the main office on a Wednesday afternoon. The office staff was very nice and professional. When I received a call from the plumber, he seemed nice but I was told he was very busy and would call me later on that day to let me know when he would be able to come out. I have a leak under my kitchen sink and didn't think the problem was serious but as of Thursday afternoon, I still do not have a return call. I would have thought a call with an estimated time would be appropriate before 24 hours passed.

The company responded within a day of my call and had a team on-site on my requested timeline. The technician evaluated the installation and provided a significantly better installation solution (gas line through basement to kitchen) than a plumber who had looked at the same installation a week earlier. The pricing was very competitive and the overall work was outstanding. Great cleanup and very professional. I already spoke to the company about my next project. I would highly recommend this company.

Water was found early in the morning on the basement floor near a 14 year old water heater. After consulting Angie’s list I called Plumb-Medic. Jason arrived within an hour. There was nothing wrong with the water heater. The water came from the furnace next to the water heater. This 14 year old water heater replaced a 14 year old water heater that was badly leaking. So while Jason was here, I decided to replace it. He was finished by lunch time and did an excellent job. Now I have this furnace…
