It's going very well!

They did a great job on the living room. They were prompt and they were fast. They were done in a day. It was well done, very clean, and neat. I would recommend them to others. They stained my deck in 2008. I wasn't as pleased with the deck. I am having them back to redo the deck and paint the trim on the house.

The person who did the crown molding did a really excellent job. I was happy with the end result of the painting but the punch list had a fair bit of things that they didn’t to fix up. They didn’t charge me any more than they said they were going to charge me. The crown molding was particularly excellent but the rest of it was good. They always responded in a timely basis and they were here when they said they would. The people who I dealt with for the estimate were great and the crew wasn’t bad.

The owner came out shortly after I called to give us a quote. He had several useful recommendations on color choices for our front door and cellar door. The work itself started within a week of our acceptance of the quote. They started by powerwashing the entire house to remove grime, mold, and so on. Without our asking them, they also powerwashed the glass walls of our sunroom, the deck, and adjacent sidewalks. That was a pleasant surprise. When rotten wood was discovered during the scraping and prepping, the owner came out the next day, gave us what we considered a fair quote, and the carpenter arrived within a day to take care of it. The painting crew worked hard, including a Saturday and Sunday, and did an excellent and thorough job. When small questions arose, they consistently checked with me to see how we wanted the job. Overall, I was really impressed, and the end quality was very high. Our house looks really good now!

Got a quote within a week (lowest of many). Signed a contract and gave a deposit in Feb. I was called in early Mar. and told they pressure wash the next week. They came as scheduled. Two weeks later (due to weather), they started painting. Day 1: 3 men showed up and sanded, scraped and primed most of the house. Day 2: 3 men showed up and completed priming, caulked, removed abandoned hardware and started the finish coats on the stucco areas. Day 3 and 4 - rained. Day 5: 2 men showed up and completed the finish coats on the stucco and did most of the finish coats on the wood trim. Day 6 (a Sunday!): 2 men showed up and finished the painting. When they were done, the had my wife and I walk around the entire house to check that everything was satisfactory. When I saw a couple small items I wanted touched up, they did it immediately and completely. The guys were very nice and worked very hard. They came every morning at 7:30 and worked until 5:00 every evening. We were impressed.

Overall--awful. Took much longer than estimated. Didn't show up every day. Worst of all--the finished product, he charged $2800! This was around $2,000 more than expected. When he estimated the cost, he told me, the doors will cost around $300, the hinges, around $200, and then the labor. Labor was $1680! He claimed there were 4 men working--I never saw more than 2. It took 84 hours of work to install 3 half doors? That's ridiculous. 5 days work for 4 men to install 3 half-doors? They must be the slowest handymen on the planet. My advice--avoid this guy or it will cost you the shirt off your back. I was taken in by his polite nature and good talk about what a good job he would do. I regret hiring this guy and want to warn others.

Great job. They started on time and ended on time. When one day of rain prevented them from finishing, they came back on Sunday morning to finish the job. Workmen were polite and cordial.
