My fiancé and I recently bought a new home, and we planned to rent out our old house...but we knew that there were some major renovations that needed to be done - converting from oil to gas heat, installing central air, replacing all windows and doors (interior and exterior), building a front porch, and a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel, as well as some demo work on some outside structures. We had just begun the process of interviewing potential contractors, when quite by accident, I ran into a man and his wife at a local paint store. The man was wearing a Spectrum Home Repairs LLC shirt, so I approached him and brought up our situation. The man (Brian, the owner) explained that Spectrum did everything we were looking to do, and then showed me some pictures on his phone of previous jobs they had done. I was so impressed with some of the kitchens and bathrooms that he showed me, that I immediately called my fiancé and said “I think l found our contractor”! I put them on the phone, and they arranged a consultation date. Brian came by and we went over everything with him...there was a lot. He was very patient, personable, knowledgeable and informative. The estimate for the work to be done was certainly reasonable ($33,000 for the total job - $7,000 of which for the HVAC), and we were thrilled to have one company that could address all our varied needs. We were so happy that the search was over! Brian himself was there every day until the job was completed, and all of the work was done on time - to perfection! Our old place never looked so good - we were almost sorry to move! We would not hesitate to recommend Spectrum Home Repairs LLC to our friends and family!

Highly recommend! Provided great service and very honest and ethical work. Did work for my elderly parent. Brian from Spectrum initially came to the house last winter to look at the furnace that had stopped working during a very cold spell. Other companies that came out charged very high service call fees and said the furnace needed to be replaced. Brian was able to get it quickly fixed and running. When the AC failed this past summer, Spectrum was our first call. Since the furnace was old, we decided to replace the entire HVAC system. They quickly replaced and installed a new system for a very competitive price. Sometimes companies look to take advantage of the elderly. Spectrum did not. Hire them!

We requested a quote from Spectrum to redo the whole system for our house. Brian came out Monday evening and committed to send us a quote by Tuesday morning. We received his quote by 2:30am Tuesday, which is an indication of his professionalism and commitment. Spectrum estimate was not only extremely fair, considering the extensive job required (complete removal and new installation of the HVAC systems and bad old duct work on the house), but Brian was also open to discuss in detail the equipment being used to best meet our needs. Although, due to timing conflicts, we were not able to award the job to Spectrum we will certainly work with them in future projects.

The overall experience was great. Brian was always attentive and very helpful. He answered all the questions my fiancé and I had about the unit. The pricing was perfect for our budget. We definitely will use and recommend Spectrum Home Repairs again!
