Anthony bid and installed the job. He was on time, neat, personable and conscientious. He did not try to sell us a product beyond what we needed. The windows have performed very well through this very cold winter. I would recommend this company.

After interviewing several window manufactures/sales representatives and their installers, I hired Anthony. Anthony's confidence as a sale representative and installer and, his acceptance of my terms as reasonable, persuaded me that he was a craftsman and, was selling me the most energy efficient window on the market, Elements by *Soft-Lite. Anthony agreed to everything I asked of him in the contract, including agreeing to: become a certified contractor by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, the Philadelphia Neighborhood Housing Services as a third party to the contract (administering Pennsylvania's Home Energy Efficient Loan Program), draft free installation without the ugly non-insulated head expander, pvc coil capping, two year labor warranty, etc. The first thing I noticed about the Elements windows was the significant noise reduction from outside and a feeling of a more even temperature throughout the house. Adding curtains did help raise the temperature a few degrees warmer by the windows. For both the estimate meeting and the job start, Anthony and his crew were right on time. Although they were all over the house, they worked in such a way that my home was always clean at the work day. Anthony's knowledge of windows (both the benefits of each type of window and the installation) was excellent. He replaced 16 windows in less than 2 days and accomodated my last minute request to throw in a rear door installation within those 2 days. Anthony is both professional and pleasant to work with.

Everyone was punctual, answered my questions and installed some windows, garage doors. So far everything is looking great. Still not finished with siding and garage. I would have him probably do more windows,etc..

After joining and searching Angie's List, I called for an estimate from Anthony. He showed up promptly and gave me a price that was great. AND...I believed in him as soon as I heard and quot;no money needed until the job is complete.and quot; Being from South Philly and having been BURNT by contractors who took my money and ran, that was exactly what I needed to hear. I didn't even think about getting another estimate and hired him immediately. His manner makes it clear he is honest and a great worker. I needed new windows throughout my home and basement. He told me start date would be around the end of October and he called just as he said he would. The entire job was complete within one day! My house looked like it did when I left for work in the morning. AMAZING!! He will be highly recommended to everyone I know! Thank you Angie's List, THANK YOU ANTHONY and staff!

I found Anthony's Window and Siding through the window manufacturer's dealers page on their web site. Fortunately, he was on Angie's list and received two excellent reviews. I called the other two dealers and they never returned my call or their estimates were too costly. Anthony was on time foe the estimate. He was friendly and professional. He explained the difference between the two models of windows I chose. He calculated the cost to replace 10 windows. He made and exceptional deal for the higher quality window. He asked for no deposit but I felt better giving him one. The windows came in on time. Due to the holidays and weather, we postponed the installation till the following week. Anthony, Eric, and Jim arrived on time and begin work immediately, They were joking with each other throughout the day but their underlying focus was always on the work. They were constantly cleaning the window area before and after each installation. During the installation, two potential problems arose, a deep hole above one window and excessive wood in the bathroom window frame. Both problems were solved with ease. Before leaving, Anthony inspected all the installed windows from the inside and outside for quality control. I observed Anthony and his crew throughout the entire installation of the 10 windows and was very pleased with the quality of the work. They did not take any shortcuts. They perform the job right. I'm really pleased with Anthony's recommendation to select the better grade of window. They improved the quality of my home. Without question, I would use Anthony and his crew again. When I called Anthony, he gave me a time and date that he would be here. He was here exactly as he stated. He returned to my home several times with samples that he got from the shop. He explained everything in detail, the cost, the time it would take to do the job. He took me to several homes that he did so I could see the work that he did. He even gave me a senior discount. He is easy to talk to and answers any questions. He has an excellent crew that helped with some minor repairs at no additional cost.

After several frustrating calls and estimates, I found Anthony's Windows.. My first call I was actually able to speak to person instead of a machine. His father-in-law handles the calls, which made me feel good that this is a family business. He gave me some background info (been in business for @30 years, etc) and set me up for an estimate. Anthony was prompt and personable. He got right down to business, gave a thorough, but not too technical explanation of the windows and the whole process. He basically answered my questions before I even had to ask!! He realized the problems I had with my current windows with just a quick look. He explained the specs for the particular windows I wanted, gave me a fair price, and was not pushy. Emails and phone calls were promptly answered by Anthony himself, and I had placed the order. Communication was good when we set up date to install. Anthony and Eric showed up on time, were careful not to dirty my floors and house, took out the old, put in the new, fixed wood and insulation, capped and caulked inside and out!! He answered my questions, gave some final info and the windows look great!!! So far the window (Soft Lite) quality is good. It's a lot quieter, they are easy to open, and the tilt out makes it so easy to keep clean. I highly reccommend Anthonys Windows and the brand that they use..Can't wait for winter to see the difference in my heating bills!!!

They were outstanding. He is so on target. He is with you on everything you say. When his crew showed up he had full control over them. There was one young man who was working for him and this young man pulled up his cell phone and he was talking on the cell phone and Anthony told him to put the cell phone away or he would be off the job. It does not get better than this. I love my windows. I had them leaking for years. So if there is a windy rain coming from the North East there was a puddle on the floor from the spray coming in. That being said I had a problem. I knew that the wood underneath was rotten too and had to be replaced. So the siding had come off and the wood and everything underneath the sheeting had to be replaced. The guys who sell windows come out they have a sales man, then you have the person who measures and then you have the workers. So what you end up is with three different people who do not talk to each other. You never see the sales man again. He has got his commission to buy. The guy that measures you hope he is having a good day. The work crew is the guys who get paid probably hourly so they just slap it in and they are gone. First of all finding the product that you want. So I was back and forth with whom I wanted. I started off with three people that I interviewed. Champion was one and after checking them out found that they had so many bad rating. I did not want even to talk to them. Then I talked to another out there who would not come out unless my husband was here. So cross them off the list. The next one shows up. At one point the guy was here for two hours. At a certain point I asked him if he sells used cars. It was so bad that the company that he works for he usually goes out and folds the gutter. They did not have the window guy today and so they send him. He kept on back after the car. For every question I asked he did not have the answer. He was making excuses. It was terrible. You could not make them understand that all this wood underneath was rotten and had to be replaced. All they wanted to do was cut the window and put them in the body. It was big money. Usually the prices were coming in any where between $6500 and $8500. There was one guy that I liked. But I am still waiting for the licensee that he was supposed to have faxed it out to me. I am still waiting. I am glad I asked him that. I had checked and I knew that he did not have a license in Jersey. This process goes on and on. Eventually I find a guy and his name is Dave Adams. Dave Adams is roofer and also does windows. He has two shops. One is in Green Creek New jersey which South Jersey and does most of the resort area. Usually he ends doing high end and the other area he does is Haddonfield which is very high end area. He did a roof job for a friend of mine. It was a $6000 job and he did a good job. I have him out and he does an estimate and it is real high. But the guy understands that the siding has to come out, that he has to do all the wood underneath. He charged me $11000 for all the 13 windows. I was almost willing to do it. He knew that we would do it in winter. Two weeks after this the sewer pipe comes out of the house and breaks. That is a $3000 job. Moving on comes Fall and he makes appointment. Two weeks before he comes out he gives me phone call and tells me that he cannot do my job till Spring since he was backed up on roof. Now I want the rebate. I cannot get the rebate without the windows getting done before December 31. Now it is the 18th of November. Now I started looking, started the whole process again. This is the time I find Anthony. I phone him and I get his father-in-law. He is the sweetest man. His father-in-law does his phone work for him when he is not available. It is a family- run business, small operation. He is really good. He comes out, does the estimate $3300 for seven windows. We changed after I had done all the research on the windows I had done and what I was going to get, he said that I was over buying. I had another guy who was pretty much the same price. But wanted to put tracks on front of my house to replace the wood. You cant do that. I could not make him understand that you cannot change structurally or architecturally. It is wood and it has to be replaced with wood. Anthony understood. He asked me to get all the permissions that I needed. When he said that he was going to do the job he was here on time, he did the job, there was no upping the price. When we did the contract, he worked with me and there was not one thing if I asked him I did not get. He even dealt with my neighbor who was obnoxious to him. He stripped all the siding off, he replaced all the wood under it and it was a miserable job. It was rotten three quarters of the way up and it is a two storeyed house. I recommend him. I have six more windows and I will call him when I am ready.

This is my second experience with Anthonys Window and Siding. The first impression went well, he far exceeded two other companies who I called out for estimates. All estimates were in line with each other, however, with the two other contractors, I did not know what type of service I would receive. Anthony is very personable. He is upfront, answers any questions that you have, and does not try and confuse you with pricing, etc. The other companies tried to upsell at every corner, and I didn't really know what I would receive from them. I trust Anthony, tell him what my needs are and he gives me a price. I watched his crew install the windows, they did a good job, insulating and caulking as needed and did a nice job capping the outside. For my latest project, the front door, I asked him time frame, product, etc. and he told me where his guys were, etc., and to get back with him when we decided on the particulars.
