 + -1 moreVladimir and his crew were outstanding start to finish. Vlad listened to my concerns about my old rear walkway and patio. Vlad came up with creative ideas to fix the problems and stay in budget. After seeing the attention to detail and professionalism of his crew, I decided to add on some more work. They removed from front paver walkway and turned into a beautiful patio with a fire pit in the backyard. Vlad gave great input on adding a block sitting wall around the new patio, which tied into my landscaping, and put the finishing touch on the project. Vlad and his army then installed a new front paver walkway, which looks stunning, while adding great curb appeal. Vlad stayed in budget near asking for more money and fixed any issues that came along. I would/will hire them in the future. Highly recommended.

Any issues that would rise from our project were promptly fixed. Even a month after the initial install, Sam and his crew swiftly came back the NEXT DAY to fix. Sam won this job because he was very responsive to what we wanted done, and was able to provide samples and discussed the job at great length before starting. The crew did a great job on the clean-up after finishing. Whole project took roughly 3 days to complete.
Description of Work: Teardown of old steps; rebuild base and install staked stone veneer and bluestone treads and landing. Remove old paver landing and replace with new, larger paver walkway

 + 0 moreForgot to remove the cement steps and refuse to come back to do it. Extensive argument at their office signed agreemen clearly says "Remove Cement from the "side of garage." They argue they removed somethig from the other side of the house. Totally unacceptable.That was not to be removed. No big raind to test the waterproofing, small rainfals were never the problem.

 + -1 moreI was buying house and there was a water leakage in the fireplace on the basement. Sam gave me an estimate and i chose to use him since he had good reviews on home advisors, his crew was punctual. He guaranteed that water leakage would stop. They did the work in January. The water is leaking again. I emailed him two weekends ago and he was supposed to access the situation last Monday or Tuesday but he never showed up. The leak is happening only 4 months after they did the work. I am concerned since now I am stuck with cost of waterproofing again with someone else. Either his crew doesn't know what they are doing or they are just incompetent

My Car port was also done quickly and done the right way. He is also very easy to deal with , any issues are quickly ironed out. Highly recommended.

 + -1 moreSam was wonderful to work with! He was responsive, he helped us decide on the best value for our money while helping us stay within our budget!! His crew arrived on the scheduled day and on time!! They were very professional and their quality of work is Excellent. They went over an above to be helpful to us, including helping my husband re-plant a bush that had to be moved out of the way so they could work, we didn't even have to ask them...they just did it!! When they were finished everything was cleaned up and looked perfect! We are so please with Sam and his company that we are planning another project already and hope to sign the contract for it today. I can't say enough about Sam and his crew. I highly recommend Progressive Renovations for any project you are planning.

 + 1 morerep came by and quoted work would be done between 9-10am 4 days later. I called them on that day and was told they'd be there after 2. When I asked why nobody called, I got no response. Of course, nobody came after 2. Company is a joke and deserves all the other D's and F's others have given them. Caveat emptor!

 + 3 moreIf I could give this company negative stars, I would. We paid many, many thousands of dollars for them to address flooding issues in our basement. The work took nearly 6 months in total, and now, more than a year later, we are barely in better shape than when we started. Water still streams in from the basement door. They installed a sump pump, but now we have a gaping hole in the side of the wall around the pump where water gushes in. When we called them to correct their terrible work, they added some half-assed quick dry cement to try to funnel the water around the sump pump. And the leak around the door? Somehow that's our fault. They told us to caulk it ourselves. We hired them to fix our flooding basement and as of yesterday 8/23/18 we still have flooding. They had to have the boss come in and "fix the issues that the guy assigned to our house did. Even after the "fixing" we are still dealing with the aforementioned hole and water. See the picture of how they left it. Yes, that is water flooding into our house from the dry well.... Absolutely terrible service and work.

 + -1 moreThey told us the chimney was completely shot, but they could fix it for thousands of dollars. We needed it done as we were selling the house. Paid them up front for the work and also a deposit for the additional work. After many phone calls and excuses they did not come back to complete the work. I finally reached out to the boss and the only thing they ever finished was the new porch. The work was at best fair to poor. I finally gave up on them and cut our losses. Thankfully we moved away, but even though I don't live there I would never give them any business or any decent review.
Description of Work: We had several projects we asked them to do. One was to top off the chimney with a cap, fix some roof shingles, re-do a small porch and repair some broken siding.

 + -1 moreIf they ever come back ill let you know. I gave them half the money. They said it would take week. Now we are on day 23 and nothing.
Description of Work: Patio pavers, drainage, front steps,& a column. They started the patio and drainage tore half my front steps apart they were here twice in 23 days and i haven't seen them since. My front and back yard is a mess. We cant come in our front door.it has rained a lot but it has also been sunny. I just get a run around when i talk to them. The supervisors name is gene . Needless to say the job isn't even half done. These people don't care at all.

Description of Work: I obtained several estimates regarding repairing my home's front brick steps, several of which were crumbling. We decided to go with Progressive as they handle all exterior work, and were also going to repair our columns.The tech from Progressive suggested a suitable repair, which we agreed upon. The day the job began, he was not present, but sent 2 workers who proceeded to demolish the steps. Of course, numerous issues were discovered, none of which they had ever seen before. I asked the workers to call the tech, but by then, they had demolished a good portion of the steps. I was told by the tech that the only solution was to demolish and rebuild the entire steps and porch, at an estimated cost of approximately 5 time the original estimate. I decided to halt the job, and get a few more expert opinions and possible alternative solutions to rebuilding the steps and porch . Needless to say, I found 2 other professionals who disagreed with Progressive's assessment and solution. The steps were found to be structurally sound, well supported, and could be easily repaired with no need whatsoever for demolition and replacement, contrary to what Progressive told me. I found a wonderful company who was very experienced handling all sorts of masonry issues, and they were able to repair them quickly to our specifications. They look beautiful. I found out later how some unscrupulous companies will use |a bait-and-switch tactic, coming in with an estimate, creating a panic scenario, and snowballing the final cost outrageously. |Lesson learned: Because we didn't panic and accept Progressive's assertion that our job was so unique and never before seen, we were able to locate a true | professional who has seen it all, and performed the work confidently and expertly.
