Mike came out on 8/1 and went through all the issues I wanted addressed and discussed how he would resolve and the cost. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I gave him the go ahead and then told him to put me on their schedule. The workers came on 8/26 and were there only a couple of hours and fixed gutter but to date have not completed full job. I am waiting for them to contact me again as to when they can finish the job.

I called Pfister Roofing after Hurricane Sandy came through as I had some roof damage, at 10:15 AM the days after the storm. Greg called me back within 20 minutes and the guys were at my house putting the tarp on within 2 hours. They were incredibly professional and honest. I will use them to fix the roof when my insurance company gives me the go ahead.

The contractors came as scheduled and showed good workmanship, except for the fact that unfortunate it started to drissel before the rainguard had been preassembled to their holding frames and on the wet surfaces the glue did not bond very well. It would have been preferable if that work would have been completed in their shop prior to coming to the location.

I had questions/concerns about the installation. The quick response by Pfister made sure that my questions/concerns were answered. Very pleased with the professional service, and now with 4 months hindsight - still impressed. Quality product and service. Would highly recommend.

The office arranged an immediate appointment on a Saturday and the workers arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job.

Fine. They came and gave an estimate, showed up to the do the work on time, and sent a bill within the estimate.

The team worked well together, got everything done as requested. The finished work looks harmonious with the rest of the roof, a very important issue to us. With the leak, we were extremely lucky to be helped so fast. The team cleaned up after themselves extremely well. With slate roofing, it is typical to get a quote of a base rate for a day's work, plus the cost of number of slates needed. In our case two years ago, they needed quite a lot more slates than anticipated and more than one day, but that is not unusual, as our roof is from 1928. Some other roofers have "conned" neighbors into removing their slate roofs and replace them with artificial "slate" at great expenses. The work done with Pfister is done right the first time, not a single leak after they left last time, and I feel confident they will not con me. The very first time we used them (10 +years ago) they returned immediately to fix a remaining small leak at no charge.
