LOWE'S

After selecting a 21" 56 Volt Ego lawn mower from a pallet display with a very obvious sign that read "21inch 56Volt Ego push mower $449", I was told the price was actually going to be $599. It was eventually explained that the model I took from the pile was aparently a different 21" 56V mower. I took my dissatisfaction as far as Assistant Store Manager Ryan, who was completely unhelpful. Since it was his contention that "some customer probably put the wrong lawnmower on that pile", he was not willing to honor the listed price. Cool for him and for Lowe's I guess... now they never have to worry about improperly marked items because they can just blame it on random customers. But, Lowe's in Peterson, NJ not only lost a nice sale today (I had also picked a Ring doorbell) but probably lost a previously loyal customer as well. Nice job, Ryan. Pffft.

I went to Lowe's website to find contact info for getting an estimate on window replacements . There wasn't any phone number posted but I was directed to fill out a form with my contact information and wait for them to call me within 24 hours. It's been a month and no one ever called back. I only wanted a comparative estimate. I figured I'd rather give my business to someone who actually wants it.

I spent about $7000 on that service. My experience with them was very good. The people in the store were very helpful and they helped me pick out what I needed. The people who came were highly skilled and they did the job quickly. This was the first time I used them. When they left the place was in better shape than when they got here. I thought that their pricing was in the ball park.
