We contacted Everclear among other companies for pool quotes. Jay provided us with best price for what we wanted and was honest and helpful in answering questions and making suggestions. His crew worked around some terrible weather to get us up and running in time for Memorial Day and Jay was onsite every day they were here. Never felt that another job he had going on was more important than ours. Have received many compliments on our pool and have already referred Everclear to others based on our experience working with Jay.

Jay and team did an amazing job on our pool and spa with fire bowls, fire line and water features. We had a tough permitting process, but Jay stayed on top of it and once the project started, it was pretty smooth sailing. Jay stayed in constant communication about the progress and any delays that did arise that were out of his control. Since our pool has been finished Jay has been very responsive on any questions or concerns that we have, making sure that everything is working properly and as it should. Jay and his team have taken so much pride in the work that they did on our project, which is nice to see and for sure makes me feel like they did their best work. Jay was also sure that once everything was tied up that they came back to repair any damage to our concrete that happened in the process of moving trucks in and out of our yard - just a nice way to take something else off of our plate so we didn't have to worry about it. We were so pleased with the work that Jay and his team did that we are currently using them as well for our maintenance service on the pool and spa. I highly recommend Everclear and their services - they delivered, for sure, on their commitments and our project overall.

Jason and his team of professionals did an outstanding job on my pool renovation. I purchased my home last year knowing the pool hadn't been used in over a decade. Because of a bidding war I purchased the pool as is. The pool was finally uncovered this year for the first time and we learned that my pool may have been built in the 70s or 80s and has never been upgraded. The pool had a concrete bottom, fiberglass walls, old plumbing, a safety ledge in the deep end, and fragile fiberglass steps. I was afraid that a pool renovation was going to cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I had contacted several pool companies in NJ, NJ, and even a company in Staten Island in an attempt to renovate my pool. Out of over a dozen companies, two companies appeared to be confident and capable of doing the renovation. The Liner Specialists in Carmel, NY and Ever Clear Pools in Clifton, NJ. Jason and Ever Clear offered an extremely more affordable price (The Liner Specialists were rip offs!) and way friendlier service. Jason knows everything about pools and converted my pool from literally a swamp to a gorgeous masterpiece. Ever Clear performed the following work: closed the drain at the bottom of the pool, installed extrusion and a new liner, added 2 new skimmers, 4 new returns, 4 pool lights, and connected all new pool equipment. More importantly, behind Jason's rigid and para-military persona, the guy is a softee for his clients and his employees. Jason and Ever Clear staff worked extra days, early and late hours, and even in the rain to finish my pool renovation in time for a large pool party that I had scheduled way in advance for my graduating daughter. Jason made it his personal goal to finalize the renovation in time for me to have my mason install pavers just in time for my party. I would recommend Ever Clear Pools in a heartbeat.

We needed to repair our previous pool company botched. Jason was not only sympathetic but shocked at the poor job our previous contractor did. He came in and assessed the damage and was able to remedy the problem and get our pool to be near perfect again.

We especially liked the fact that Jason was hands on, especially for the detailed work. Jason and his crew put in 2 new skimmers, new pipe throughout, new steel stairs, new liner, vermiculite, made all the necessary connections and did a few extras so we would be prepared for some future projects. Job was to install a pool heater on a previously unheated inground pool: Jason was very prompt and courteous. Raised the request on a Friday, contacted me on Saturday and came out on Sunday to give me a quote. Honestly discussed the different options and listened to my opinions. Better price than the other quote. Rescheduled due to weather once, and still worked on a cold blustery day to complete the job. Very enthuisastic business owner, worked hard, left the work area very clean. I will use him again.

They suck! Called Jason (owner) and office 5 times in 7 week span and never got call back from them and when he finally picked up on my last attempt his bull line was "I am busy". Talk about caring for his customers. They don't care at all. Jason's work is overpriced and mediocre. Got 3 other pool companies coming to look at their crappy work as my pool floor has multiple divots and he never hooked up the chlorinator. Jason and his office will be hearing from lawyers. PLEASE PLEASE DONT DEAL WITH JASON AND EVERCLEAR. ALL THESE 5 star reviews I wouldn't put it pass him writing his own reviews or have his friends do them. He is so far the worse company I have ever delt with in my entire life.

Jason got back to us very quickly! We are putting in a new liner in our pool and the price was good- great customer service! We had called other pool companies and no one answered our phone calls! This company is a winner!

Reviewed by Phil F in Clifton, NJ Jason returned my call within 10 minutes, came over within a day and gave me a good price to replace my liner 16x32 with steps. His crew came and measured all the dimensions and the new liner fit perfectly. The removal and replacement took only a couple of hours. (Water pumped out the night before). So within 3 days the pool was filled and back in operation. I would strongly recommend Everclear to anyone needing pool work done.
