Advantage Chem Dry

I contacted this provider and spoke with Giovanna apx. 2 to 3 weeks before what I thought was my scheduled service date. I called again about 2-3 days before my "scheduled" service date to confirm and discussed the work at some length with Giovanna. The day arrived and I expected the provider to arrive between 9 and 12 as promised. As 11:00 AM rolled around, I made a cal to ensure there was not going to be a delay, etc. At that time, Giovanna informed me that she did not have an appointment in my town today and as she searched further, had no appointment for me. I expressed my anger, disappoinment, incredulity, etc. and Giovanna offered to see if she could get someone here this afternoon. We hung up. She called back within a few minutes and said that someone could be here between 2 and 5 PM. I called again at 4PM to see if there was a problem and there was no answer so I left a voice message. I finally heard back from them via a service person at 4:21 PM who advised that he was on his way but would be awhile due to the location from which he was coming. I learned later that the first person who was supposed to come between 2 & 5 decided he didn't want to do it so this person (Rohan?) agreed to come. He and his team could not have been nicer and understood fully my frustration with this company. The work was done in a timely manner and I was satisfied. Not happy that they didn't move 2 pieces of furniture that I had emptied but at that point - I just didn't care. The oldest review for this company is from 2012. Stupid me - I should have checked The List before I decided to give this company a try. It's one that you get in the Coupon Mailer all the time. Do not be fooled. This company needs a lot of improvement.

They were great. He was attentive and absolutely wonderful. I was in the middle of that, moving and I have a six day week that often goes from 9AM to midnight, it is a very difficult schedule. I did not have any problems with that it all. He was lovely and I actually referred him to a neighbor. He was just great and he took care of it. Fortunately I was ranging and my land lady has not reimbursed me and he was taking care of helping me take care of her property, and that is another thing that required attention. So it was hard to get around to doing it. He was wonderful. Price wise I thought it was fair. Quality wise it was wonderful. It was perfect. He took care of everything and he was great. He was very responsive. I would use him in the future.

Following a recent heavy downpour, I noticed about a half inch of water in a small area of my newly finished basement on the tile and some of the carpet adjacent to it was wet. I found this company in the yellow pages and I wanted them to extract the water and dry it. I spoke to Danny on the phone who told me that a job like what I was describing would be about $70 for the water extraction and $40/fan to dry it. This sounded very reasonable so I told him to come asap. His men showed up when he said they would BUT they told me that the job would be $1080 instead of the less than $200 Danny had quoted me. When I pointed out the discrepancy, they said that was impossible and then proceeded to pressure me to sign the contract for the job when it was more than 5 times more than what I was told. When I told them I needed a few minutes to discuss it with my husband, they started to get nasty, saying I was wasting their time and they have other jobs to go to. When I told them I wouldn't be using them, they actually cursed at me on their way out. Needless to say, I bought my own powerful wet-dry vac and two industrial fans for $480 and after a few hours of work and a few more hours of the fan, my basement was dry. These guys had told me that I needed to rent their 3 fans for 3 full days to dry out my basement (at a cost of $360 just for the fans). That may be true for people who are standing in a few inches of water all around, not my small area! Stay FAR away from this company!!!

They were punctual and courteous. They seemed to do a good job. I would use them again.

THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB ARE PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE NEVER LATE. THEY IMMEDIATELY SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT. THEY CAME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THEY DID A VERY THOROUGH CLEANING. THEY COME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I HAVE USED THEM SINCE 2002. I RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. THE COMPANY WE USED BEFORE WAS NEVER ABLE TO GET OUR CARPETS AS CLEAN AS CHEM DRY CAN. THEY ARE MORE EXPENSIVE, BUT YOURE GOING TO GET AN EXCELLENT JOB DONE.
