Description of Work: While the work done, as such, was fine, the price was much higher than I subsequently learned was standard, and while the gentleman who came out was very nice and presented himself professionally, though I was told to stay home because he'd most likely be early, he, in fact, arrived quite late and had not let me know he was running late.

Description of Work: Recharged Central A/C unit (it took about 5 lbs) and added a can of sealer to see if that would plug the slow leak that seems to be causing a loss of refrigerant. Advised that if there is a leak, the entire line may need to be replaced. It seemed pricey for the service (to me as a person that does most of my own work), but as I recall I did some comparative shopping and that is an average price for this area for a service call and recharge. The men were very professional and informative of what they were doing during the process.

Description of Work: Woke up to a leaking water heater. Sunday service. They didn't offer an hourly rate. They would only give a total cost which was high, but I have children and needed it fixed. The repair was good. The technician was good and very efficient. In 2 hours he replaced the unit with a new one that had only a 6 year warranty, something I wasn't offered to choose from. The final bill was one and half times what I would have paid if it was a scheduled repair. The sales man on the phone took advantage of the situation and I paid for it. I wouldn't recommend them unless you were in a real pinch, and then I would ask for the hourly rate. I paid over $300 an hour!

Description of Work: The job is for replacing a effluent pump which gone wrong in the basement. Cost of pump is ~$400 (Contractor price)... now the remaining $800 went for repair which is barely a 45 minute job. My advice... shop around...

Description of Work: This provider was offering a $49 deal to do a hot water heater flush, so I signed up because I was hearing some noises coming from my hot water heater. The scheduler on the phone was nice. The day of the service, the technician did not arrive within the time window that was given to me, which was fine because I had nowhere else to be. But, had I had other appointments that day, then I probably would have been annoyed. The technician was very nice and professional. He seemed knowledgeable. He did the flush and checked the water heater and all of its connections. He explained some things to me and answered questions for me. His name was Sam. He was very good. That was the extent of the service...everything checked out just fine. Sam didn't try to sell me anything or try to drum up more business. He just did what he was there for and did it very nicely. I was happy with the visit and would recommend them to others.
