I canceled the coupon because the plumber indicated that Angie's list should have never issued me a coupon because he was pretty far from my house and that he cannot commit to a date or time to handle this. I understand his issue and decided to cancel the coupon and find someone closer and someone who can keep their date and time.

They worked on the replacement of the hot/cold lever. This was for a 90 yr old cast iron kitchen sink. I was missing one of the hoses but they still was able to complete the job using one of the older hoses (the faucet had been replaced about five years ago and was now leaking). Once they left I realized the knob was loose - I called them and they promptly returned and tighten it.

He did a great job, he was polite, clean, on time, he came early upon my request and I was very pleased with the service.

Went extremely well. He was knowledgeable, professional, polite and most importantly -- successful in a short period of time. He didn't make more out of the job than it was.

It was all right. The big deal was for an hour of labor but the service we needed done apparently had an additional charge, we needed one of the pipes snaked and there was an additional charge for that. They didn’t completely cleanup after themselves and left a little bit of mess. Other than that, it was all right. Nothing else really stood out. The deal was for $49 and I paid about $80 extra.

They did a good job. They were polite, they did a thorough job. The man was polite and explained everything to me.

We set up an appointment for the company to come out they were supposed to show up today and did not show up and informed us they did not service our area and we would have to reschedule for a different time and day.

It went fine. He was prompt, courteous, and very professional. He didn’t take a long time. He didn’t make a mess, he cleaned up everything that he needed to. It was a very professional service. He didn’t have to do so much because the toilet was functioning. I had to call them to schedule the appointment even though I posted my number and contact information. They came out on time.

Well...I'm kind of curious what I paid for. He showed up and had me run aroud the house turning on the different zones. He stood next to the furnace and felt the pipes to identify which pipes were for which zones. When that was completed he monitored the pressure gauge and auto shut off functionality. Great - - I'm thinking this guy is pretty thorough. Then that was it. When I asked about the tune up portion of the deal he said that my furnace was old and that opening up any of the seals could do more harm than good. OK - - makes sense, but what did I just pay for them? Here is the original deal: **************************************** Option 2: Furnace coupon covers: Tune up and inspection checking of gas burners, pilot assembly, thermocouple, burner flame (gas pressure adjustment), heat exchanger, flue venting, fan control, limit safety device and electrical wiring, blower speed, amp draw, belt (tension adjustment), check moving parts and check for overall safe operation. **************************************** I'm not even confident that he removed the safety cover to expose the pilot and burners, never mind checking blower speeds, amp draw, belt tension, any other moving parts, etc. Here's the kicker. Not 2 days later my furnace starts leaking. Water everywhere. Now I'm not saying that he caused it - - but with my own non-professional (visual only) inspection, I was able to see potential problems in this part of the furnace. Now I've come to realize that not only did he not complete the tune up properly, he did not even complete a thorough visual inspection of the unit. He was too busy talking about new furnace options and showing me pictures of his recent installation work to complete the basic tasks for which he was hired.

We're new homeowners and I purchased the Angie's List deal for a heating inspection. They had a 2-person crew show up and start our boiler to test things out. They carefully explained all the pipes and valves and stuck around to make sure the radiators were getting hot. They were also free with advice on air conditioners and just generally friendly. I'd use them again.

I initially called for routine furnace maintence. I was told my heat exchange was broken, the furnace could not be used and i would need another. He let me know that it was not just my furnace, but also my air coil, condenser and water heater that needed to be replaced as they were outdated and contributing to my furnce breaking as they were not fitted properly. This came as quite a shock and I was set up with someone who would come out and do an estimate. Everything was scheduled very quickly and I felt very pressured to make a decision as they were giving me all of these "discounts" as the original work was set out to be 17,000. I was not all together comfortable making suck a quick decision on spending so much money on only one estimate but I went with it anyway as we needed heat! I did initially have some buyers remorse but once the workers came, they were punctual, informative and efficient. The work was all done in one day. There were some problems with the noise of the new system and the air returns not getting enough air due to old vent work but all work after that initial day was FREE. They have a great customer service policy and anything that comes up that they did not anticipate, they cover. The permits and inspections afterwards were also covered in the cost. Overall, the work was done well, quickly and although the price may have been higher, I believe I paid for "piece of mind" as once they start the work they cover anything that happens as a result.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out fine. They came at the time they were supposed to and they did the inspection and made sure that everything worked.

I called for the check on the pipes and snake my tub. I was worried because my house is from 1940. Mark was professional, patient, and explained everything. Turns out my tub's drain lever was broken a long time ago and part of the problem. I didn't get charged since the snaking didn't solve the problem. Being that I notice he was very diligent and careful. I asked if he knew about steam boilers. So, instead he did a maintenance of the boiler. I would recommend him for future jobs. Thanks

They showed up on time and were professional. The guy that came out was very informative and provided me with some good information for what to look for in the future. I would recommend using this company.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out really well. They was a bit of a delay because I couldn't get an appointment. There was a confusion and they didn't turn up because they weren't informed of it. They then came after 2 weeks to replace the shower head. He finished it quickly.

Good but he did not clean the drain.

Even though the "Big Deal" ad said that this company services North Jersey and the "Tri State Area", they do not service Vernon, NJ (which is in the North West corner of New Jersey, just 5 miles from the New York border (Tri-State??) and 6 miles 10 Miles from the PA Border (Tri-State). When I called to check on the Big Deal and find out about other plumbing needs I have, I was told they don't go "out this far". But then I was asked what I needed. Why ask what I need if you don't service where I am located??? I wish Angies list would be more vigilant about the ads they send out. If a company does not service in the area they offer to service, why send the ad.???

I am still waiting for that refund. Will be contacting the BBB if I do not receive my refund by next week. Service was not performed. I have received NO RESPONSE to MY COMMUNICATIONS WITH ANGIE'S LIST.

It was okay. We won't be using them again. They did the service that I asked them to. I had to purchased a bunch of other stuff. It turned out to be way more expensive than it should have been. It was convenient that the shower stopped working when he came in the shower. I was afraid that he needed to redo the whole faucet and everything. Those little jobs should have been way less than he charged me for. I ended up spending almost $300 more than I should have. I knew I could have just called my local plumber. I would have just spent half of that maybe. Once the work was done, it was adequate.

The service was excellent from start to finish. I called Sunday evening after the pipe broke and had no trouble getting an appointment for Monday mid-day. The appointment window was noon-2pm, and he actually arrived around 11:45. He did the work quickly and professionally with no problems. After doing the pipe work he realized there was a clog further down, and snaked it out. All told the appointment took about an hour and since then (2 weeks ago) I've had no problems.

Showed up on time. Was cordial and completed the job in less time than needed. Great plumber!

It went well. The service was good and the price was reasonable.

I had originally purchased the Big Deal from Angie's List for this borrower in order to get my kitchen faucet repaired. however when he came here, we discovered that the valve in the basement was faulty and we could not shut it off. We had to reschedule another visit for him to come over and replace the valve first before he could repair the kitchen faucet. He was very punctual and courteous and cleaned up the area very well prior to leaving.
