Advanced Professional Plumbing Heating & Cooling

Advanced did not contact me, but when I contacted them, they arranged for a prompt appointment. I was shocked at the prices they quoted for each job, so we only had them do one job. It was difficult to communicate with the person who came out, especially regarding the application of the Angie deal for $200 for $99 of plumbing. Another person came out on a separate day to do the job and it was done competently. Again, the second plumber had to call the home office as to the application of the Angie deal.

The service was good. He came on time, everything was fast and easy. The work turned out good, and the interactions with them was good.

Scheduling was an issue. Was told someone should be available the next day after 5pm. Nobody called to say they would not come. Called next morning, explained and person on phone was polite and apologetic. Someone was out within 2 hours to perform service. Wife was happy with service and explanation we may have a larger issue ( which we may call them to address ). I think scheduling was a misfire on their part, and feel very satisfied with everything.

We were very pleased. Scheduling was great. They called right away and came within a couple days.

Excellent, received a call at 8:30 stating the men would be here in about 1 hour. They arrived on time. They had the Radiator valve replaced within an hour (which is amazing given the age of the radiator and the valve - 1930's). They went downstairs and in about 1 1/2 hours replaced 4 old valve (including main to house), removed a rusted orphaned valve, and replace a ceiling valve that was preventing our drop ceiling from closing. They gave us a follow up estimate to move our washer and dryer as well. Outstanding service, very professional and cleaned up well after themselves.

I made an appointment with Advanced Professional Plumbing because of my leaking furnace pipes, They came out to my house on 12/13/2013 to evaluate the situation and quickly found that my water tank was splitting and needed to be replaced, and located the two leaks in my furnace's plumbing system. They came back to my house early the next day to install the new water tank and they fixed the two leaking pipes (one of which, was difficult to get to). They could have left at that point since they had completed the job, but they wanted to make sure that my furnace would work properly so they flushed out the heating system. They went above and beyond what they hired to do and I have already recommended them to my friends. They were prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. Thanks Adam and Jamie!

I called them at 10am and my issue was resolved by 2pm. Great service, quick and efficient.

The plumber was on time, friendly and thorough. He had to use a few different sized snakes and really took his time to make sure that the job was done right the first time. He was very clean and made sure to clean up afterwards which is appreciated.

So glad they were honest and told me the work was not currently necessary.

It turned out very good. They were very good guys. Their service is very good and quick.

Called Advanced Professional after power briefly went out last night, which triggered a high pitched alarm on our battery back up system for the sump pump - apparently, our battery was depleted, and apparently, the system does not provide a way to disable the alarm without fixing the issue which meant continuous alarm all night long. We called this morning to see if anyone was available to confirm the issue and replace the battery, and were told someone could come out within 2 hours. Steve arrived within that time frame, tested the system and confirmed the battery needed to be replaced. He said he needed to check to see if the battery was in stock and that someone would call us today to advise. We got a call within an hour, and Steve was back this afternoon to replace the battery. The responsiveness and professionalism both on the part of the tech and the office were outstanding. Will definitely be calling for future plumbing needs.

It was the nor'easter of 2014 and we had a heating emergency, Water was was not just leaking but coming out of the expander tank under pressure. We had a heating emergency during a snow storm. Advanced Professional came within and hour and half of the call, fixed the problem, and checked that everything was working properly. The technician's name is Steve and he was very professional.We has used them before during another heating emergency, same technician. While the cost was expensive, given the weather situation, that fact that it was at night in the winter, it was worth the price. I definitely recommend them, especially for emergencies. I am probably going to replace this 30 yr old system and will use them to do the replacement.

It was just a simple job and they were friendly and knowledgeable.

I had put the metal bar that holds the air filter in place incorrectly. That was causing the furnace to make an extremely loud noise whenever it kicked on. Once it was put in correctly, the motor purred. Good news!!!! I used to wake up at night thinking someone was trying to bang down my door. My thermostat was not calibrated correctly. I was glad to hear that. The furnace seemed to kick on much too often. My burner flame was a little dirty, not as bad as he thought it would be. Basically even though my furnace was old it was not too dirty & was safe. Of course, since it was so old he could not guarantee when something might go wrong. I know that I will be replacing my furnace. It was good to know that for now it is safe & I am doing all I can to keep it running efficiently. Since I was very pleased with Steve I asked him more about the company. Mark Wilson, the owner, was always very nice on the telephone. He explained all of their services. They have 24 hour emergency service and also financing is available for when I can replace my furnace!

It ended up being more than the $39, but it seems to be working okay.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, GREAT SERVICE!!!!! They came within an hour for an emergency call on Friday night. Steve & Adam are professional, knowledgeable, very friendly & honest plumbers. Knew exactly what needed to be done, and explained everything to me clearly. They fixed everything and most importantly they left no mess. It was a great experience working with this wonderful company. I would diffidently recommend them and hire them again.

It went well! There were two workers that came out to snake a drain pipe, and they were professional, clean, and easy to work with. I’ve had no issues since they did the work.

These guys were PHENOMENAL!! I can't say enough good things about them. Initially we called them in to fix a leaking toilet, which we thought would be simple. We were wrong. Turned out we needed to replace the whole toilet. Then to make matters worse, the next morning, our hot water heater went. Nope, you can't make this stuff up! So another phone call to Mark and we had a new hot water heater bought, picked up and installed the SAME DAY! They even contacted my town to schedule the necessary inspection. So, what was initially a small investment for a leaky toilet turned into having a continuing relationship with a great and professional group of plumbers. We will DEFINITELY be using these guys again in the future, let's just hope not too soon. :)

He knew exactly what was wrong with it. He went through and snaked the drain. He was very professional and did a great job. It was done in a timely manner. He gave me a one month warranty and said to call him. I didn't have to wait for him to come, I called him and he was right there. I didn't have to wait too long. He has been very professional. I have used him several times since the first visit.

It was fine. It was nothing to write home about. He said everything was alright. I asked him a question about my humidifier on the furnace. He wanted to sell me a new one. It's a brand new humidifier and it needs something. He wasn't willing to go through an analysis on that, not that I blame him. He wasn't here to fix that. I didn't think he was that great. I wouldn't hire them again, I tell you that. He didn't do any work. All he did was inspect, which was what the big deal was for.

Honest, came ASAP, polite, did the job. All good.

Bad. Rescheduled couple of times and was rude and said he is busy. I guess in this case you get what to pay for. The discount is a joke.

We had a problem with the gas boiler. It was emitting carbon monoxide and the gas company had to turn it and the gas to it off. It was an extremely cold day, a Sunday, and we needed heat. We searched Angie's list and found this provider. They came within two hours and the job took about four hours. The cleaned the entire boiler and the flu. While the price was expensive, I checked with another plummer and he said it was fair for the time the day and two people. So I would recommend this provider, especially for an emergency.

Steve came to our apartment after several plumbers looked at the system and quoted us 300-400 to "flush" the system. Turns out that all it was was a faulty wire. He fixed it in minutes. I was shocked when my husband told me he did not charge us more then what I paid for the $99 Angie's list coupon online.

Not just prompt, but immediate arrival - and when you have a bedridden person (with lots & lots of laundry) in the home that is especially important. Steve is a nice young man - someone you would not be uncomfortable with. He kept at the job until he was sucessful - no small feat. Also gave approximate estimate for future work.
