d The service guy came on time - the appointment was scheduled between 9-11. He thoroughly checked both units. Didn't find anything wrong with them, but he advised to replace one of the older duct work which confirmed my prior knowledge. I didn't get a feeling that he was trying to do any unnecessary work.

Provider had sent a technician out to inspect my HVAC system. PSEG had capped my furnace but did not cite any actual violations. A home inspector had previously advised me (when I was purchasing the home) that the system still had a year or two left but needed a tuneup. I asked technician to come for tuneup and to diagnose any issues. Technician came and would not work on system, only stating that I would have to replace the entire system. I was able to obtain refund for my Angie's deal but had to schedule another provider to come and address my problem.

punctual arrival courteous 2 technicians looked at outside of unit inside and outside tested compressor and pressure levels did not open furnace / air handler did not replace air filter a few weeks later my furnace leaked condensation i fixed it by finding the discharge pipe was clogged. time this is something that should have been checked on the inspection as it was a long time building up.

After receiving a last minute cancellation from an unprofessional company, I quickly called Advanced Plumbing to see if they could accommodate my appointment given I had taken the day from work to have someone come in and do an estimate on an AC unit of the condo we are purchasing. Mark was professional, and his tech was there on time, honest, very polite, and provided us with a thorough report on what work was required and when. Fortunately we do not require any work at this time, but when the time comes we will definitely use Advanced.

This was purchased as a "big deal" $49.99 for a 20 point AC inspection/tune up. Coil and filter cleaning were clearly part of the listed deal. They told me it would be almost $200 to clean the coil. The unit is less than 1 yr old so I doubt it needed a chemical cleaning. This 'deal' was just a $50 charge for an estimate - they did not put algaecide in the valve, clean, lubricate or adjust anything. The owner blamed Angie's list for putting up the wrong deal.

Two appointments were set up with this plumber. The first appt was missed because they had the wrong date and time written down. My husband waited at home for two hours. They came another day to our house when we did not have an appointment and since we both work, no one was home. The last appointment was made for this past Friday and we were called at 9 am and told they could not come because they cannot look at our cooling system if it is not 70 degrees out - we need a plumber for a backed up sink and a leaky shower! Nothing to do with our cooling system. The person on the phone then said they could come in two more hours - which was after we had already been waiting at home for an hour. We need to work and cannot wait around in the off chance they may actually show up. I prefer to work with a plumber who can track appointments and customer needs accurately. I appreciate the refund.

Provider called and was available 2 hours before appointment time. 2 workers made quick work of the job and suggestions were made by provider. Great job and i will be scheduling my wall fan for the next!

did the work OK However, I called this provider later in the winter when I had a problem with semi-frozen pipes. They charged me an exorbitant fee of $2000 for two hours work which involved heating my pipes with a "special" device.

I had some major plumbing done using the coupon from Angie's List. They did a good job, which was more serious than I thought initially. I'm glad I had it done because I will have less problems in the future. I liked the person that did the work; he was basically on time and did the work fairly quickly. I think it was done last December. It cost about $700. They are very good about answering the phone and rescheduling. I would use them again

The response was quick. The foreman came to look at the situation at appointed time. The work was done promptly. Two of them come, get the work done. Like all the other plumbers, they only do the pipe work. I need to fix the basement ceiling myself. They clean up after themselves. Nearly 3 months from the work, we haven't experience any problem with the sink. It is a little pricy but well worth it for the job.

service person was easy to talk to ,answered all questions ,and was knowledgeable about tihe system. We had only a stat up check but would call them back if and when our " old" system acts up.

2 men spent 20 minutes in my house checking the A/C unit in my attic and one outside. Came me the thumbs up and left. Good overall service except they were an hour late. My appointment was scheduled for 9am - 11am. They showed up at 12:00 pm, one hour late. When I called the office at 11:00 to find out where the guys were, I was told they were running behind and wouldn't be to my house for another hour. Would have been nice if they company called me when they knew their guys would be late so I didn't have to hang around the whole morning waiting. Luckly, I was working from home that day because normally I wouldn't have been able to accommidate their tardiness.

I purchased a "Deal". The supplier responded immediately that they do not work in my state. I received a refund. Angie's list refuses to take me off of their "REVIEW THIS VENDOR" list. Help. HELP.

I wanted to get my AC tuned up, and found a deal for a $49 AC tuneup with Advanced Professional Plumbing Heating & Cooling. I bought the deal on April 3rd, and was told to call Advanced to set up a time. A man returned my call that day, and we set up an appointment two weeks away on April 17th. I asked for the last appointment of the day, and was told the latest time range was 3PM-5PM. April 17th came, and I closed my office early in order to get home in time. I got home at 2:30, and waited for someone from Advanced. 5PM came and went, so eventually I called the number and left a voicemail, saying that hopefully someone was on their way. Nobody ever called me back. I called again 3 weeks later and left another voicemail. My call was returned 3 hours later by the same man I spoke to when I set up the appointment. He claimed that it says in his notes that they had tried to call me because the appointment I had scheduled didn't work for them, and they had left a voicemail. I told him I thought he was lying, because not only did I never receive a missed call or voicemail before the appointment, I had left them a voicemail after they failed to show up at the scheduled appointment time, and nobody ever called me back! His response was, "so you think I'm lying?" I told him that either he was lying, or he needs a new phone system since his is obviously broken. He suggested I call Angie's list to get a refund, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. Avoid this company completely. They clearly lack any form of professionalism and don't value their customer's time.

He worked very quickly and was very helpful and polite. Made good suggestions.

The work went well. The only problem that I had was that they gave me a quote for further work on the A/C, but they did not send any paper work with it. They quoted around $9500. for something that expensive, I would like to have paper work so that I know exactly what they will do and how.

I was in the process of buying a condo and during the home inspection there were three items the inspector suggested I look into deeper. I hired Advanced to check these items and provide a cost estimate so I knew how much of a credit to request from the condo's seller. I setup an appointment with Advanced for 1:30pm and coordinated with my real estate agent to meet us there and let us into the condo. Both myself and my agent arrived on-time but the contractor was nowhere to be found. After a few minutes I called Advanced to get a status and they indicated the contractor was on his way and was 30-45 minutes away. Advanced claimed the appointment was set for between 1:30pm to 2:30pm and not at 1:30pm. That was not what was communicated when I made the appointment. I even went back and forth with the scheduler on whether to schedule 1:30pm or 2pm before settling on 1:30pm. No time range was communicated to me. This caused major issues because my real estate agent had another appointment and couldn't wait 45 minutes. Since no one was allowed in the condo without the agent present this was problem. My agent called a colleague to come and sit with me. The other agent showed up and we proceeded to wait. 2:15pm comes and goes and the contractor is still not there. I call Advanced again and was told he would be there any minute. Another 20 minutes passes and it's now 2:35pm and he's still not there. I finally get a call from the driver who couldn't find us because his paperwork had the wrong address and he was on the other side of town. He finally shows up and we go into the condo for the assessment but only after about an hour and 20 minute delay. The assessment itself only took about 15 minutes and I got the information I needed. I'm giving Advanced an overall grade of "C" and the only reason why I didn't give them a lower grade is because the contractor who eventually showed up was very knowledgeable, professional and a general pleasure to deal with. So if you decide to use Advanced then make sure you have some cushion in your schedule and confirm with the scheduler when to realistically expect the contractor to arrive.

Technicians showed up on time and were a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable. Will contact again for future work.

Sam was great and knowledgeable - got a run down on the components of my boiler like automatic refill and low water shut off Thorough and professional - Sam detected some wiring mistake done by another installer and corrected it

Advanced showed up at our home within an hour of our call. The technician inspected both of our furnaces and shut down the faulty furnace completely. When I asked him for an estimate he quoted $8000-$9000 to replace the furnace and an addition $3000-$5000 to have asbestos removed so the work could be performed, however, he would not provide this as a written estimate. Additionally, when I asked him what I owed for the service call on the other furnace he said "nothing, just make sure I get the job". I was not satisfied at all with this company's professionalism and would not recommend them to anyone. Ultimately, I was able to get the furnace replaced by another angie's list contractor for $4900 and only had to pay $800 on top of that for the Asbestos Abatement.

Very impressive and honest.

Took several calls to get initial appt and showed up in rental van which was a little odd. But technicians were nice and seemed competent and professional. On follow up, there seemed to be some miscommunication on time of appointment. I heard 11 so when it was 12 we called and asked where they were- they said they were supposed to come "after11" which isn't what I heard initially. They did come later that day and performed the services at what is likely an appropriate price.

Sammy arrived promptly as we were battling a river of water coming down from our backyard into our driveway at 1am. Our reservoir was full or clogged, so all the water sump pumps were sending to it were coming right back into the house. He immediately diagnosed the issue, and set up an additional sump pump to send the excess waters off the property. Since heavy rains were to continue until noon, he left the setup in place to make sure we don't get flooded. Next day at work I heard so many people who had flooded basements / sump pump problems, that I better appreciated his "rescue".

The plumber and his assistant were able install the first valve in less than 30 minutes. This was important because the town had shut off the water and they were wait to turn it back on. It took a little longer to install the second valve, but both are well done with no signs of water leaking in the two weeks since the job was completed. After they finished with these two valves, they installed a new cartridge in my tub faucet to fix a significant leak. They had come previously, and told me what part to buy. By having me buy the part myself they were able to save me a few bucks. It only took a few minutes to install the new part and the leak was gone. There have been no signs of leaks ever since. Finally, they installed the garbage disposal. Again, the installation went smoothly. The unit works well and I haven't had any problems. Both men were courteous and easy to work with.

My child played in the bathroom and clogged the toilet, I suspected either a bath toy or just lots of tissue. I found Advanced Professional Plumbing on Angies List and saw a deal for $99 for $200 worth of services so I called. I talked to the owner and he set up a same-day appointment for me. The plumber came on time, he was courteous and professional. He snaked the toilet and cleared the clog - it only took him a couple of minutes, tops. He made sure to wrap his tools in plastic afterwards and took care not to drip anything on my floor. I would use them again in the future and would gladly recommend their services.
