Advanced Professional Plumbing Heating & Cooling

Sam came on time and was very professional. I showed him the valves in my bathroom that needed to be loosened and he explained to me that the valve for the toilet needed to be completely replaced because it was quite old. He also said that if he just loosened it, the valve would probably start to leak. He looked at the valves under the sink and said they were newer and could be taken care of. I ended up not having him do any work in my bathroom but it was good to have the information. He then assessed the outdoor spigot and told me what it would take to replace it. He went through it step by step and told me he'd have to cut a hole in the wall in our gargage to get to the piping to change it. We then looked at the gas valve on the water heater, the backflow on the heater and the other leaking valve for the other spigot. He went through the process for each fix and then gave me a quote. He needed to find out if the shop had the parts and if they did, he could do the work that same day, if not he could come back the next. Luckily they had what he needed and he was finished with those 4 jobs quite quickly. As for price, I have nothing to compare it to, but it seemed rather reasonable for the work he did and the things he needed to fix. It was nice to have someone like Sam come and explain things so thoroughly to me. It made me feel comfortable knowing he'd get the job done right. I would use them again if needed.

Fixed sink hose and hot water heater, did an AC tuneup, etc. Very responsive. Very honest.

Called Advanced Professional Plumbing this afternoon, and spoke with Matt. He was very professional, and right away knew the problem I was describing. He worked with my schedule and sent two friendly and experienced gentlemen - Sammy and Adam over when I got home. They fixed the clogged sink and bath tub. They gave me a magnet for my fridge and I am calling them again when I have any plumbing issues.

They showed up within the hour. Sam was the technician he is very professional and knowledgeable he explained what was the issue and fixes it. Thanks guys

I’d like to share my positive feedback on the services of Advanced Professional Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, LLC of Clifton, NJ. I first used Advance Professional Plumber on March 26, 2014 through a Big Deal offer. Their plumber fixed my wife’s shower and got my radiant heating system working, all covered by the promised $99.00 deal price. In June 2014 I developed a leak in a water pipe serving a second floor bathroom. My contractor opened the sheet rock ceiling, so the plumbers could get at the leaking pipe. My house was first built in 1891, and many of the pipes go back many years. We discovered after opening the ceiling that several pipes were corroded which strongly indicated possible future problems. Advanced Plumbers replaced all the pipes including the main discharge pipe. Their work was very effective, clean and responsive to our needs. My water & discharge system now functions very well. The plumber also repaired my gas boiler in June and in September replaced a value that shuts the water off for the clothes washer I found Advanced Plumbers technical competence and responsiveness to be excellent and their prices fair and honest. I am very satisfied with their services and would certainly recommend the plumber to others.

Incredible service! It began when I couldn't print a copy of my coupon because my printer was down. Matt at Advanced asked me to email it to him and he would give it to the technician. Set up the appointment for 10/27 between 11 am and 1 pm. Called to request that the technician give me a call shortly before arrival at which time Matt informed me that my coupon had expired in May. Totally embarrassed and apologetic. Guess what! Matt told me they would honor the coupon anyway! Very appreciative. Got the requested heads-up call from Ray, the technician, who arrived 15 min later. He was professional, friendly and polite. I'd been told that Ray would check the system and recommend any work, parts, etc. that he determined were needed. Ray went into basement, came back up to check that thermostats were working and informed me that the system is in perfect working order. WOW!!! Had this been a less than ethical merchant, I could have been sold unnecessary products and/or services, especially since Matt had accepted an expired coupon. When I called Matt to thank him again and commend him on his business practices, he simply said that's the way they do business. In a world where you only sometimes get what you pay for.....I'm impressed!

Sam the tech. Showed up on time as scheduled , was very courteous and professional. He originally couldn't get to the clog with his snake due to the screwed up way my house was built. He persisted and found an alternate way to get the job done. I was very pleased with the service. A little pricey , but it was worth it. Will DEFINITELY use them again!

The technician was unable to detect the problem, seemed a little frustrated and rushed. Said he would need a second technician to come out with him to truly detect the problem. I made another appointment with the company for two technicians to come but I have to pay full diagnostic price again. The technician's response may have been valid but I feel the first diagnostic was a waste of time and money if I have to pay for it again.

Sam arrived on time and listened carefully to the problem with our heat. He looked at the system, explained the problem, and took the time to answer my questions (he took the time to explain how the system works as I didn't know what some of the pipes were for). He gave an estimate of the time required to do the job and finished in less time, even though he uncovered and fixed an additional problem. The system is now working better than it has in years.

They did okay. The service was just for the $49 coupon. The worker that came out was professional and did not take him long to do the job.

The plumber (Sam) was great. He figured out very quickly what the problem was, and it was a minor problem that he fixed easily. I would definitely call again for other issues.

We never ending up connecting for the work, but I did change my contact information in that time.

He was punctual both times. He was very pleasant and he was very helpful. He was explaining exactly what he was doing and what was going on, and what needed to be done that was why I hired him again. I might have attempted to do it myself but I cannot do it. If you do something wrong in plumbing and then you pay 3 times as much afterwards to get it fixed. There was nothing he didn't do that I wish he had and his pricing was reasonable. The quality of work was really great. His responsiveness was excellent.

The gentleman that came was great. he spent time to eval the condenser and found freon was low. He is a big guy though and getting to the attic is tricky. he was not able to clean or review coils, etc. Said he would send someone. I tried to followup twice but no call, nobody came so basically it was 1/2 the job. Freon was also very very expensive relative to other folks. but they didn't fill.

On time for both the estimate and the job. Called to let me know he was on his way. Explained process. Knows his business. Did exactly what needed to be done and didn't try to sell me additional services. Definitely recommend.

Zero follow up. Came for estimate for several issues. Was talked down to, little patience or understanding with my questions. Parts of job the tech they sent said would cost a thousand dollars and had to be a full replacement to fix a drip. Was told I would get a call from owner later that day or the next, and a full estimate- never got either. (The awesome plumber we ended up using came and it ended up being a quick fix for $200.)

He fixed our sink which was broken (we couldn't pull up the chain to load the sink with water). We had already bought the parts (my hubby couldn't do it though), so he had everything he needed. He fixed it in less than a half hour. It works great now. I also asked him to look at our toilet which is leaking from it's base. He did look at it briefly. I asked him what he thought might be wrong with it and he told me that it could be a lot of things but wouldn't know until they picked the whole thing up and looked at it, which would cost around $450 - just to look at it, not fix it. I asked him how much it would be to install a new toilet and he said a lesser amount but it still seemed way too much money. I'm glad I got the deal and got the sink fixed, but I wouldn't hire them again, as they seemed really expensive and the guy was just too offhanded about another job I might have hired him for.
