Service on a Sunday no less - within the hour. If I had known it was due to lack of maintenance - I would have done it on my own but these folks were experts. Identified the issue in 15 minutes and solved the problem in an hour. Very positive experience.

I received a phone call to confirm our appointment. The gentlemen got straight to work, and worked quickly.

Joe worked with me on the quote. He was detailed and the quote accurately reflected the work that was agreed upon. His team worked with my schedule on the installation including time. Sam and another member of the team arrived in the afternoon and had the job completed by the time I got home from work where I was able to review the work they did. Quotes were very competitive. One vendor was $500 more and the other was significantly less but did not have a plumbers permit. Make sure the work is always completed by licensed professionals. Quality work. Trustworthy people. Highly recommend and would use them again.

Love these guys! Have had them out a number of time for emergency and routine work. Excellent work each time. Prompt, friendly, professional. A bit pricy, but worth it, to me, for the added assurance that the work will be done quickly and properly.

Last night (7/28/15) we spent our first comfortable night with properly working AC. In September 2014 we purchased this our home. Once the weather stated getting warm we recognized that the AC was not blowing cold air and the circulation volume was low. In early July we called another company (not listed on Angies List) to fix the AC. The freon was low and added. Not until we needed to use the AC did we realize that the AC was still not working. That company was horrific in keeping appointments and rescheduled me twice only after I called them. I read the Angie's List reviews and decided to call Advanced Professional based on the reviews. Joe at the Central Office was terrific in scheduling and keeping me informed as to when the technician would be arriving. Sam the Tech spent hours at the house and determined that the previous company overcharged the system impacting on the pressure inhibiting the AC from working correctly. The coils on the ac unit and ac handler (in attic) were very dirty making the system less effective. He came back a second day to clean them. Sam was informative, friendly, patient with my questions, and took the time to explain how the system worked. We were extremely pleased. Some of the Angie reviews stated that they liked Advanced Professional but were a little pricey. I initially was concerned with the price. However, Sam spent nearly 5 hours with us and stated that he would not leave until we had AC. That's customer service. I would call them again. Today it is going up to 100 degrees. I am writing this in my comfortable AC that we are going for the first time this year. Good job Advanced Professional !

Called with an emergency call at 1am and provider was out to property immediately. Their responsiveness to emergency calls is great they were there within 20 minutes! Hot water heater was leaking from the base where it seemed to have collapsed. They turned off the water and later drained it. I paid for them to install a new hot water heater in which they did the next day. Tenants were pleased with promptness of service as well. I will be using them in the future to replace an older furnace in the home.

We called due to AC blowing hot air. He came and immediately diagnosed the need for freon. He wasn't sure if there was a bad leak or not and said he could do an exhaustive check. We chose not to and just had the freon put back in. It cost about $100 per pound of freon. I hope it really only needed 5 lbs.

Great service from initial phone call to last hand shake. These guys were complete professionals who came on time and expertly diagnosed the problem, saving me lots of time and money. I'm not kidding when I say it was the best experience with a plumbing service I've had in the 13 years I've been a homeowner. This company is one to keep one your "go to" list for sure.

Provider didn't honer the appointment time

Very good, we'll going to call him back. He decent and honest. The price was reasonable. We haven't had problems with the air conditioner with the work that he did.

After the work he came up for me to signoff on the invoice. The price on the invoice said $288.75. I asked why did the price increase? He said that was the price he told me. I said, you joking right? He was serious as a heart attack as he looked me in the face and said, "that's the price I told you" I asked him if he had memory problems, because we just had a 5 minute conversation about 30 minutes ago and you can't remember what you said? Who gives a price and changes it 30 minutes later. I had to use my credit card and the total was... WAIT FOR IT...!! $308.96 I was so disgusted, I just signed the invoice and let him out of my house.

Advanced Plumbing sent someone out within the hour and the plumber was very professional and was a good detective about figuring out where the problem was coming from. Turns out we had an old outside water line that was not in use that had never been capped off and had broken off and was leaking. He also found a pinhole leak in another pipe. He repaired both promptly. Problem solved!

Everything went fine, but seems like a pointless service since the furnace broke a few months later and needed separate service.

When I spoke to the company the gentleman on the phone asked me for the details of my problem. I told him I needed a new compressor. He told me it might be the case based on how old the system was which is about 25 years old. He told me to let him come out for a small charge to run tests. If I chose to do the work needed with him, it will be included in the charge. The tech was the only person from 3 other companies to examine the coils on the compressor and found them filthy. He explained what needed to be done and quoted me a very fair price. He cleaned the coils, added freon, tested the evaporator coils in the house and adjusted all of the vents. Prior to this company coming over , I got quotes for 3400.00, and 2300.00 to fix my problem. Got it done for 600.00 If you are looking for an honest, fair, knowledgeable, A.C. company. These are the guys to call

The provider came to our house within 2 hours of our initial phone call to assess the situation; He gave us a choice of replacement units along with costs, his professional advice, etc. He told us there was no rush, to think it over, and call him. We made our decision after doing initial research. They returned to our home with a new unit, and with the cooperation of PSEG who had to replace a circuit board, they connected the new unit within a day. Very very pleased with the service and professionalism. Highly recommend this vendor.

Found company via angieslist. Setting up an appt was a breeze. Technician was timely, professional and pleasant. Thoroughly diagnosed and eventually found the problem. Quickly fixed it - gave me a 10% Angieslist discount. Our tenants have cool air again and I have one less thing to worry about. I had a 5 star experience with this company and will def use again. Would highly recommend based on this experience. I didn't get the technicians name but the owner should give him a high five (job in South Orange) and thank him for this great review :-).

The inspection was thorough and professional. He obviously knew his stuff. The sink installations were likewise professionally done with courtesy. I would definitely hire these guys again.

Had a bit of an issue with timing but the guess is that it had more to do with Home Depot error than anything else. Once the guys were here they did a great job - speedy and efficient. Offered to come back if any problems came up. They also made an effort to schedule quickly which was appreciated.

I woke up with no heat at 4 AM, called Advanced Professional during freezing temperatures. They were busy but fit me in. Sam came, climbed into the attic, 10 minutes later, he asked me some questions. I told him I heard the motor trying to kick on but it kept stalling and finally died. He came down and said it was my sensor, replaced it and did the tune up. That furnace is 10 years old, it works better now then it did when I bought the house! If you furnace stops working, I suggest you call Sam, he's the best! Thank you Sam.

I called at 8:00AM with several inches of water covering my entire basement floor. They were there by 8:30AM, diagnosed the dead water heater and immediately began pumping the water off the floor. A new hot water heater was brought over and installed, while the original technician continued the clean up job. It turned out that they needed to do some extra plumbing work to make the new tank fit in the space, which they did happily and at no additional charge. I'm not up on current hot water heater prices, but I felt I received excellent service and was happy to pay them to do the clean up work, too.

The first guy came to the house on a friday to assess the issue, but unfortunately, he did not have the correct part in the truck. Even though I was not home the next day, a guy came over to switch out the part (outside), and I was able to pay him during the week when I was available. They made everything extremely convenient. I would hire them again.

The contractor conducted their business in a thoroughly professional and helpful manner from point of first contact to completion of work. Their phone lines are actually manned, instead of answering machine/service. They provided an accurate estimate range over the phone and explained the factors which could determine final cost. An appointment was made, and they called ahead to advise that they were enroute, and did in fact show up on time. Their work was professional, and rapidly completed. I did note and appreciate that they took time to double and triple check the drainage flow after the snaking was completed, including running the washing machine through several cycles, which was the main cause of backflow. Afterwards, they took some time to go over areas that needed to be watched for in the future. They did NOT try to hard-sell their services, or push to set up another appointment. The things they pointed out were appropriate for how old the plumbing is. There were no bad points in dealing with this company, and I will definitely use them again, and recommend them to friends.

While the provider is advertising a deal on Angie?s List for $49 for Cooling Diagnostic Service Call for Heating and Cooling (AC), the provider did not honor the deal. I was contacting this provider for this service as well as I was interested in seeing what kind of customer service I would experience since I was looking for an AC and Heating company to do business with long term for my home. I provided the provider with the information from Angie?s list on the deal they were offering, but the provider stated the deal was not available and had expired. I clearly communicated the deal is showing 4 days remaining, but the provider continued to deny the deal. Classic bait and switch! Extremely short sited. I?ll gladly take my business elsewhere.

The provider was very considerate in scheduling around my availability and showed up during the time frame scheduled. The service was fast and easy and the provider was very honest and did not try to upsell me on any systems, but rather just advised on how to best use the existing.
