Description of Work: 4/20/13: We scheduled an appointment to have an estimate. Their rep came out to our site as scheduled and sat down with us afterward to generate the estimate. The rep had a physical sample of all products she was selling; additionally, she had a thick photo album of past projects for me to look through. As of now, my rating only applies to our initial meeting and estimate; thus, I will provide an update once the fence is installed. We are using Artistic because they have been around a while, have predominantly great reviews, and I appreciated the time and attention their salesperson gave to me. For solid tan vinyl fencing consisting of 314' of 6' privacy fence with two gates, and 28' of picket fence with one gate, the estimate came out to $12,300. For the same dimensions in white fence, I was quoted $10,800, and for Bufftech's Certagrain, $21,500. I had two additional estimates, and all three estimates were very close in price, which makes sense because fencing contractors charge per 8' section of fence, and have similar installation expectations. Since price wasn't the motivating factor in selecting a contractor, I want to emphasize it was Artistic's rep's professionalism that made my decision easy.
