Our experience was great from the start, we worked with Pete. He was right on time both times he came out to us, for the initial estimate, and then the paperwork. I really appreciated that he took the time to quote the job 4 different ways (with and without tying into the neighbors fencing & with 2 1/2 vs 3 1/4 spacing on the pickets), he actually priced out the spacing on his own accord to see if it would help save us on cost. Overall, Artistic gave us the best price of the companies we had quote the job, and I had the most confidence in them based on my interaction with Pete. We couldn't be happier with the final product, our yard is heavily sloped on one side, but somehow they still made the fence look great (our neighbors have a fence that does not look quite so good on their slope, so it does require skill to install properly in this circumstance). Our installers were fantastic--they did the job with a good 5 inches of snow on the ground and shoveled the whole fence line + strung it out so we could double check it versus the survey for peace of mind (I was nervous about proximity to the property line). They also cleaned up after themselves extremely well, which I appreciated as my dog will make a meal out of almost anything. Really top notch workmanship & company.

We were happy with their service. They were great. It was our first time to use them. They came in and did the job and they were really careful not to walk across my lawn because I had a new lawn planted. They were just really awesome and they had a good price.The guy who initially came gave us the estimate and a heads up about everything being clear and not just the framework. It was an awesome experience. It took them less time to do the job than they said that they would. Their price was also fair.

There were communication problems until we got it right. In the end, the they did a fairly good job.

When i called for a estimate they gave me a date and time when the sales rep would arrive. The sales rep showed up on time knew what we could and couldn't do. Walter gave us a fair price and i want to say thank you. I needed the fence to be installed on a saturday so i could be home and they worked with me. Once again Artistic Fence showed up on time and did a very professional and beautiful job. I highly recommend them.

When they came for the estimate they came right on time and gave me my estimate. It was the best price out of the other 3 quotes I had gotten previously before Angie's List. I signed a contract with them and they came yesterday. Within 2 hours he was finished and he did a fantastic job! They did neat work, cleaned up, took all the mess away and didn't leave any trash around. Last night, for the first time in a couple years we could let our dog out without a leash and we were in heaven!

We had three or four companies come and give us a quote and Artistic Fence were the one that actually knew about the quotes for our assignment, about all the little details that go in to whether or not it could be four foot or six foot and if we can really start with six foot. They just knew everything about the quote requirements for our assignment they quoted. They went into much more detail than any of the other companies that quoted. The quality of their work was excellent and they were nice people too.

A very good experience from start to finish. The entire project was handle with expediency and accuracy.

Prompt response when I called. Very easy to communicate with. Very thoroughly explained what needed to be done and the options I had.

My overall experience back in 2011 was OK. The finished product looks good. Now, in 2013, I have a problem and after almost two weeks, 2 emails and a phone call, I have not heard back from them. How hard is it to make a phone call or have the so-called "secretary" make the call-back - even to say "we can't help you". This is not good business practice. I was told back in 2011 that if anything happened to the fence needing repair or service, they would be available. Not so. I am frustrated and a bit angry to boot. Now I wonder who I can get to help me with my fence.

I called last week to set up a date to get an estimate. The company was supposed to be there Monday March 4th, 2013, but nobody showed up. Company has not called or sent any confirmation.

I was very lucky that hurricane Sandy didn't do more damage to my property. The worse was lost of power and my chain link fence was blown over in my back yard. I contacted a few businesses I'd found on Angies List and received 3 quotes all in the same dollar range. I chose Artistic Fence because they were able to provide services to me within 2 weeks of completing their paperwork. This was a small job and didn't need a permit. I was contacted by Artistic Fence's representative that the workers had completed a job in my area early. Would it be possible that I would allow them to come a little early to complete my repair. I confirmed it was okay and the workers arrived and introduced themselves and went right to work. They did a very good job and I am very pleased with the results. I would not hesitate to call this company again.

Good service and professional but price was higher

About a month later when a sales person did return my call with a nudge from one of there operators taking calls. The sales visit went well with a written estimate left at the end. Compared to another fence company that took repeated calls and weeks to finally get there written estimate or the one who wanted money for there estimate when it was storm related - the welcome mat is not out.

.excellent .used them in 2006 with same results.very professional in estimating and installation.cannot comment on price since I did not solicit other bids due to past experience.

Hard to imagine a more efficient job, start to finish. The rotted wood fence was gone and the new fence installed in a day and a half, and this was just a few days after I received the estimate and agreed on the job. Fence looks great -- hope it lasts longer than the one we had!

Everything was excellent. Walt came out to give us an estimate and we gave him the deposit the same day, since we had other estimates from other companies, we knew what price range we were looking at. Walt met all of our objectives and discussed various options with us. He even told us that we could have their company get the permit for us, saving us time off work which was greatly appreciated. The work was done within two weeks of contract signing which is what Walt had identified. The crew arrived around 9:30 am and didn't leave until the work was done around 7 pm that night. I highly recommend Artistic Fence Company.

My fence held up for such a long time. I wanted the white vinyl fence originally, but I do like to hang things off the fence. They took out the existing fence and put up the new one. They did a beautiful job on my driveway gate. The guys were very professional. They did a beautiful job. They are very accommodating.

They did a good job. They were on time. They were exact to their estimates. I think we spent about $1000. There was one thing that was a little bit unusual. They didn’t want to give us like reference names. They were just giving the addresses of the properties. We ended up reverse, looking them up and calling to get the references which were good references. The fence has stood up and we are happy with it. We would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if needed.

Would recommend and use again in the future.

They did a great job and did exactly what they said they were going to do. Their cost was reasonable, they were professional, and I was very happy with the work.

I've used them twice in the past 15 years and am happy with their service overall. The first time they did leave a bit of a mess but were fab this time around about clean up. The only thing is they had messed up the type of latch on the driveway. They were great about responding to my call and coming back promptly but didn't exactly do what I asked.

Office/showroom might a little tricky to get to if you don't know the local roads. We'd considered using Lowe's based on a friend's recommendation. However, Artistic has a much wider selection of styles, colors & materials at better prices. Estimator / salesman was very helpful in walking us through their choices & explaining the costs & advantages of various components. Total estimate was approx. $1000 less than Lowe's. Installation was scheduled 10 days later, took one day, went smoothly. Crew was courteous & professional. Fence looks great & decidedly improved appearance of our property.
