+ 1 moreVery well, every detail as planned. Removal and installation in a day's time. Cucchiara Plumbing services have been used by our family and friends for over 23 years.
Description of Work: New high effiency boiler unit and hot water heater installed. Our boiler (over 50 years old) exploded over night. After a call to Cucchiara's. Inspection of what had happened was Necessary to replace the unit. We opted for the hot water unit as there was rust and we didn't want to take a chance.

+ -1 moreThe brothers came and scoped out the bedrooms. They explained the problems and costs involved with extending the radiator system to the two bedrooms and suggested electric baseboard components as the most cost-effective, elegant solution. They were right!

+ -1 moreWe needed the following work cut out 11.5 feet of baseboard heat. Install hi-output on other walls to help make-up difference. Install utility sink in basement. Add spigot in back of house. Came to check job out was here quite a while discussing the job. Told us he is very business and cannot do the job right away. I told him that is okay we are not in any great hurry. Said he will call with an estimate tomorrow. Never heard from him, wasted his time and mine

Description of Work: Ken Cucchiara came to the house - provided a fair and competetive estimate and made some additional suggestions for improving a home which is being prepared for the safety of a senior citizen. The workmanship was excellent and completed in a timely manner. After all installations and modifications he cleaned up to original condition. Would highly recommend...

Description of Work: Had a leak in the bathroom around the toilet bow. I couldn't tell where it was coming from and when I called I was given an estimate of $250 but after he examined it he realized that the ballcock was not shutting off. He changed the ballcock and adjusted the water level. Because if was not as complicated as he thought he did charge me less. He was prompt and professional.

+ -1 moreI called them up and they were willing to work with the warranty, which most places aren't. They got the pricing from the manufacturer. They came and installed the hot water heater. They did the job and cleaned up their mess! I asked them about a 23 year old boiler heater to see if needs to be replaced and they said is there something wrong with it and I said no and then they told me that if there is nothing wrong with it then just leave it, you could get 30 years out of a boiler. So that seems to me that they are honest. I also had a leaking ball valve, that they fixed for me as well.
Description of Work: Removed a 50 gallon leaking water heater and installed a 75 gallon one. The old water heater was under warranty.
