INSTALLATION OF RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT, REPAIR AND INSTALL DUCT WORK, & REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR AIR FILTERS, HUMIDIFIER PADS, IGNITERS, FLAME SENSORS.
I am still waiting fir the job to be completed The job was started in June 2012, I paid in full in August, it is now the end of November 2012 and It is not completed. I haven't gotten final approval from the town, Every week I get a song and a dance from the owner as to when it will be finished. The house has been sold and will be closed on December 14, 2012. I need the job to be completed before I can get a C of A. I don't think it is going to happen. The 2 zone system that existed before the conversion is now a 1 zone system with 2 thermostats controlling the same zone. This has been a nightmare and possibly the biggest mistake of my adult life.
Description of Work: Removed oil service and installed gas boiler and hot water heater.

We had interviewed a plumber recommended by Elizabethtown Gas and were not comfortable with either his expertise or the price. He also wanted to be paid in "cash", which we also were uncomfortable doing. Mr. Larson was hired pursuant to my recommendation on behalf of my 82 year old mother to convert her oil heating system to a gas heating system. I spoke with Mr. Larson and described what my mother needed done. Mr. Larson came to my mother's home and gave her an estimate for the job. On the day he submitted the estimate she gave Mr. Larson a deposit in the amount of $1,500. Elizabethtown Gas was notified and installed the gas line from the street to the house in a timely manner. I advised them that my mother was without hot water and it was imperative to have this job done quickly. I also provided Mr. Larson with the same information. Mr. Larson was informed when the gas line was completed by Elizabethtown Gas Company and said he would be getting the proper permits from the township and starting the job. Many days passed and I called Mr. Larson who advised me that the inspector was "giving him a hard time" and was unable to start the job. Approximately another week went by before he began working at my mother house. Finally the job was completed and Elizabethtown Gas came for the final inspection and approved the system. The technician from the Gas Company was going to turn on the system, but Johnny Ice Heating & Air Conditioning left a note advising "Do Not Turn On". An employee of Mr. Larson advised my mother that he would "stop by on his way to work" the next day to start the furnace, but suggested that she call Mr. Larson. He advised her someone would be out the next "afternoon". I happened to be at my mother's house and when 2:30 came and no one had come (the house was very cold) I called Mr. Larson who advised me that he would not be coming because "he was at a football game." I told him that was unacceptable and that the job needed to be completed, since his own employee said someone would be at the house to finish. Mr. Larson began screaming, ranting and raving at me in a very rude and unprofessional manner. He even went so far as to imply that I was threatening him, which certainly was not the case. He then went into a tirade about how many hours he had spent on the job. I was not aware that he was being paid by the hour but by the job. I felt that my mother should get what she paid for. Mr. Larson finally came to the house and started the furnace; however, he did not set the water temperature warm enough and my mother still has not been able to take a shower. At this point I am not comfortable calling him back to adjust the temperature. This whole experience has been unpleasant from start to finish. If you want an arrogant, unprofessional, rude individual working for you, call Johnny Ice Heating & Air Conditioning.
Description of Work: Johnny Ice Heating & Air Conditioning, owned by Mr. Robert Larson, was recommended by me to convert my 82 year old mother's oil burner to gas. Elizabethtown Gas was to run the gas line from the street to the house and Johnny Ice Heating & Air Conditioning was to secure the proper permits from the township, run the gas line from the house to the furnace, ready the furnace and chimney for the gas heating system, have the system inspected by the township and, finally, start the furnace, so there would be heat and hot water in the house.
